I apologize if this has already been done before. But I was curious as to people's favorite moves in Pokemon and why they're your favorites.
I'll start with Protect.
I know it sounds like a lame move to be a favorite but I love it so much because there's absolutely no downfall for the move. At the very least it gives you a chance to scout the approach your opponent is going to take against the Pokemon you have out. It allows an extra turn for your opponents to take residual damage, gain further speed boosts, or heal off Leftovers, which can all be very big deals in a long match-up. Three Pokemon in my most used team run Protect and I've never really seen a downfall.
