tbh idk if this is worth, Wish isn't that easy to pass especially since you need it yourself, and it doesn't get that many opportunities to come in in order to Pass or cleric

Overview
########

  • Has Wish over defensive Xerneas and Arceus Fairy
  • Bit more special bulk than Xerneas
  • Pixilate Hyper Voice
  • Poor Defense makes it hard to switch in freely and pass Wishes or use Heal Bell
  • Competition from Xern bc it has good defense and Aromatherapy despite no wish

Cleric
########
name: Cleric
move 1: Wish
move 2: Protect
move 3: Heal Bell
move 4: Hyper Voice
ability: Pixilate
item: Leftovers
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
nature: Calm

Moves
========

  • Wish + Protect for recovery, good base HP good for passing
  • Heal Bell for more team support
  • Hyper Voice + Pixilate hits hard, solid damage to Yveltal, KOes Darkrai
  • Toxic for Wish + Protect stalling

Set Details
========
  • Lives +2 Darkrai Sludge Bomb, full stop to LO Yveltal
  • 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD Bold checks Latias, unfortunately Latios still can 2HKO, switching in on Psyshock from either forces you to Wish or be at low HP, Hyper Voice is a 2HKO

Usage Tips
========
  • Come in on Dragon-type attacks, be careful of Latios or Latias using Psyshock
  • Come in on Dark-types and pass Wish or Heal Bell, or Hyper Voice them if those aren't needed
  • Come in on support Pokemon, be careful of Mega Diancie because it 2HKOes with Diamond Storm

Team Options
========

  • Use on defensive teams that are weak to Darkrai or LO Yveltal particularly
  • Lugia, Arceus formes like Heal Bell support
  • RestTalk users like waking up early, not much of them around
  • Primal Groudon easily switches in so be prepared for that with Latios / Latias, Giratina-O, etc.
  • Ho-Oh also easily switches in so be prepared for that
  • Cannot get past Steel-types, use Primal Groudon
  • Pursuit support makes Mega Gengar less scary
  • Tentacruel (does this get a mention) for Toxic Spikes and taking Steel- and Poison-type attacks

Other Options
########
  • Offensive set?
  • Baton Pass to pivot out of stuff?

Checks & Counters
########
**Primal Groudon**: easily takes Hyper Voice, PBlades 2HKOes even physically defensive
**Steel-types**: easily take Hyper Voice, Scizor BP and Ferrothorn Gyro Ball cleanly 2HKO
**Physical Attackers**: most physical attackers 2HKO even physically defensive, Mewtwo Psystrike and Latios Psyshock
**Taunt Users**: prevent Sylveon from supporting, Yveltal fears Hyper Voice though
**Powerful Special Attacks**: cannot take stuff like Kyogre Origin Pulse

  • Has Wish over defensive Xerneas and Unaware Clefable
Last part is actually untrue, Clefable gets Wish as well. Imo mention that Clefable is not a great user of Wish. Also imo, in overview, also still mention that even that it has wish unlike xern, that it still faces competition from them.

In OO mention what moves are viable with offensive and what item imo and why these things arent worth it (lack power, shit coverage)

Taunt users should also probs go in C&C as it prevents sylveon from doing its job.

K did stuff except the moves in oo, I'm questioning if it should be mentioned because there isn't actually any reason to even think of using it, but there's also nothing Sylveon can do so does something need to be there?.?

QC rejected 1/3, I don't think the metagame suits this mon unfortunately. I see Clefable as a superior option mostly because it's ability to check offensive threats like (Ekiller, Latis, Xern depending on spread) while also retaining the support traits Sylveon has. Both are about equally weak to Gengar. This mons main use was to be a more specially defensive wall than Clefable made it a more suitable to answer both Palkia and Yveltal. This niche is rather useless atm which gives Clefable the clear edge almost all the time. Clefable also stands a chance against Darkceus by attempting some pp stall, moonblast satk drops to nullify cms, and lucky para+moonblast (should it run twave+moonblast ofc).

QC rejected 2/3, Xern (Cleric with far better stats) and Clefable (Wish and / or Cleric with Unaware) are simply better in this metagame. I never liked Sylveon is XY, it was VERY niche as offensive Palkia wasn't that common but it is clearly worse in a meta unkind to Palk. Sorry.
