Gen 6 The "Are my Pokémon IVs and Nature good?" Thread

Thundurus [Timid] IVs: 31 / 31 / 26 / 31 / 31 / 30

Been at this encounter for 6 or so hours now... My only complaint is speed is 30 and attack is 31 (confusion damage though it isn't a big deal). Is the speed tie even worth worrying about?

Also hidden power psychic makes me unable to use hidden power.....if defense was 27 it would be ice T_T

30 speed + unusable hidden power = toss
Thundurus sits an important speed tier where even at lv 50 wifi battles, it will still outspeed base 110s but only if it has 31 speed ivs.

Groudon - #383 (Adamant) : 31 / 31 / 9 - 11 / 3 - 4 / 20 - 22 / 31

I guess this is an easy toss, def too low. Just so tired of Groudon :p What do you think?

I've been SRing Calm Thundurus for VGC for over a week.

This is the best one I've gotten so far

Thundurus - #642 (Calm) : 31 / 30 / 26 / 31 / 29 / 31
Hidden Power Ice

I think I will keep this. Is 31/26/29 for hp/def/spDef good enough. Im going to run a defensive ev spread

I want to use the attack form so good defense IV is irrevelant. Is 24 IV for attack good enough?

That's pretty damn good. I wouldn't have passed on it, that's for sure. At the very worst you'll be a few % more likely to be KO'd/2KO'd by a few moves, but mostly it won't matter.

Got this after the painful process of catching it (seriously, who was the clownboat that thought giving Groudon Rest at Lv.45 was a good idea, but anyway.)

Adamant Groudon, 31? / 27-28 / 20-22 / 31 / 31 / 31

That attack stat is sad, but would you miss any important KO's at +2 without 31 Atk?

Jolly Rayquaza- 31/28/28/X/31/31

I'm a little irked by that slightly below max attack stat, and I sort of regret not SRing for a perfect one, as I've already saved the game. I'm wondering though whether this is still good enough, and was worth keeping. What do you guys think?

Just caught a Deoxys after many soft resets, planning on using Attack Forme. Naive : 31 / 31 / 26 / 28 / 31 / 31
Keep or toss? Only 28 SpA IVs has me concerned.

If you want to play Deoxys-A, you should care more about the 31 IVs in Atk, SpA and Spe. Deoxys-A is already pretty frail and having more bulk is not really that important.

I would Toss it.

That's what I thought. I got a 4/31/12/31/15/31 Deoxys on my 5th reset but decided to toss it because the defences were too low. ~4 hours later and I really regret that decision.
