Moves
========
  • Defog is essential on Pelipper being one of it's most reliable options and a very good asset to any team.
  • Roost is also rather essential on this set giving it a very reliable recovery option.
  • Scald being an essential offensive move with the chance to get a burn on attackers and on walls.
  • U-turn allows Pelipper to gain momentum as it forces a lot of Pokemon out with Scald(not wanting to get burned) - Also you're going to burn a lot so Toxic can be counter productive.
  • Toxic is a rather good move to have to almost guarantee a status on any other walls, attackers or anything.
  • Air Slash is to hit Throh and Poliwrath when it is behind a Substitute which is a key Pokemon Pelipper counters however Toxic is preferred most of the time since Air Slash is quite weak.

Set Details
========
  • 248 HP to switch into Stealth Rock more than 4 times without taking a hit
  • The standard defensive EV spread gives Pelipper it's best possible chance to withstand the maximum amount of physical hits.
  • Keen eye is the only ability that should be used due to it being the only one compatible with defog.
  • Leftovers are there give a small amount of passive recovery.
  • 96 Speed EVs can be used to outspeed neutral base 45 Speed such as Marowak and Golem however it loses a chunk of bulk

Usage Tips
========
  • Roost should be used to keep Pelipper above 50-60%, being a vital mon to keep for defog and getting a toxic off on said stall Pokemon, otherwise use often.
  • Switch Pelipper into pokemon which it can check or counter such as Scyther or Poliwrath. then proceed to use defog to remove hazards or throw a toxic or scald at your opponent.
  • U-turn on predicted switches to gain momentum for the team - U-turn also makes Pelipper less of a momentum drain for balanced teams, especially since Pelipper is so slow that it will often take a hit and then bring in a teammate safely
  • Pelipper as a defensive wall should rarely switch in a a special attack unless it's resisted and Pelipper is at high health it's a bad choice to do so, try switching it in on something that can be clean enough for a roost or defog to go off.
  • Pelipper shouldn't directly switch in on most Stealth Rock setters, as many of them carry Rock or Ground moves that heavily threaten Pelipper. Marowak and Stunfisk are notable because after Stealth Rock damage, the former can 2HKO with Double Edge and OHKO with Stone Edge and the latter can use Discharge.
  • Pelipper when used with toxic can be good to get a status off on other walls and stops it being fully walled by Poliwrath when not behind a Substitute allowing it to phase this mon quite well.

Team Options
========
  • Special Defensive Pokemon such as Lickilicky and Bastiodon which can take special attacks that Pelipper can't.
  • Ground-type Pokemon which can take Rock- and Electric-type attacks such as Piloswine, Golem, and Stunfisk - Pelipper also helps take physical Water-type attacks which threaten these Ground-types.
  • Fighting-types such as Poliwrath and Throh can take Rock-type attacks.
  • Pokemon which are weak to entry hazards such as Scyther, Ninetales, and Sneasel appreciate them being removed by Pelipper due to its access to Defog.
  • Pelipper fits into stall and balance teams due to its bulk and removal of hazards, not to mention Toxic and Roost for wearing down opponents while keeping at high HP

Checks & Counters
########

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Raichu and Zebstrika don't appreciate a Toxic or a burn from Scald, but can come in on Defog and OHKO Pelipper with their Electric-type moves due to its 4x weakness to them.

**Fast Special Attackers**: Fast special attacking Pokemon such as Chatot and Haunter can OHKO Pelipper once it has been damaged by Stealth Rock. Timid Life Orb Haunter can come in on Defog and scare Pelipper out with Sludge Wave, which can OHKO Pelipper after switching in on Stealth Rock.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Misdreavus can force Pelipper to spam Scald since it won't be able to Defog, Roost, or Toxic; they are especially effective when Pelipper is trying to use Defog or Roost.

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Poliwrath, Mantine and Freeze Dry Lapras check Pelipper. Although Poliwrath can't hurt Pelipper directly with Scald, Circle Throw or Focus Punch, it walls Pelipper and can use Toxic which will force Pelipper to either switch out or wither down in damage to the point of fainting.

**Status**: Status such as poison and burn can wear down Pelipper, putting it 2HKO range from Pokemon that it would normally wall; sleep prevents it from doing anything; and paralysis can prevent Pelipper from using Defog or Roost due to a problematic Pokemon switching in on the turn it can't act due to paralysis.

**Substitute**: Pokemon such as Serperior and Bouffalant are bulky enough to prevent Scald breaking the Substitute and can use Pelipper as setup fodder to either Calm Mind or Swords Dance against it if it decides to stay in.

Replace Throh with something else, as by the looks of it you are advising players status throh which isnt a good thing.

Say what team style it fits into
Say that pelipper can take water attacks that threaten grounds
Replace steels with fight types, they are more relevant than rocks in this meta

- Hmm, tbh I would like to see U-turn slashed before Toxic. Pelipper provides a good chance to burn as is, and the momentum gain from U-turn is invaluable for balanced teams (where Pelipper seems very comfortable). The fact that it's a slow U-turn is just the icing on the cake, allowing for many teammates that require a free turn to truly strut their stuff to thrive. Pelipper isn't really supposed to be breaking walls, and Burns are more crippling for most sweepers due to it neutering physical attackers and Burn doing more residual damage in the first few turns (which is a long as offensive Pokes are usually out for unless they are sweeping).

Set Details
========
- I would mention 96 Speed EVs here, to outspeed max Speed neutral nature base 45s, most notably Marowak and Golem. It does lose a chunk of bulk though, but idk yet if that chunk is really significant.
