Overview
########

Landorus is one of the most fearsome wallbreakers in the tier. The combination of Sheer Force and recoil-less, Life Orb-boosted attacks raises its power to monstrous levels. With multiple effective boosting moves at its disposal, such as Rock Polish and Calm Mind, Landorus can exert immense amounts of pressure versus all playstyles. In addition, Landorus is an excellent offensive Stealth Rock user that can easily fit on offensive and balanced teams, notably being able to break through Mega Sableye — a typical stop on defensive teams to entry hazard setters. Though Landorus is known as an offensive Pokemon, its Ground / Flying typing only provides two weaknesses while giving it immunities to two common attacking types. Landorus also sits at a decent Speed tier, just above that of base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir, Victini, and both of Charizard's Mega Evolutions. However, Landorus's Speed leaves it outpaced by common offensive threats such as Keldeo, Latios, Latias, Thundurus, and Mega Lopunny. Despite its excellent coverage movepool, Landorus often struggles with certain Pokemon depending on which move it lacks.

Rock Polish
########
name: Rock Polish
move 1: Rock Polish
move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Sludge Wave / Knock Off
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Modest / Rash

Moves
========

Rock Polish doubles Landorus's Speed, allowing it to outspeed almost the entire unboosted metagane. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest STAB move when factoring in the Life Orb and Sheer Force boosts and hits most Pokemon that don't resist or are immune to it for incredible amounts of damage. Sludge Wave provides coverage on Grass- and Fairy-types such as Celebi, Chesnaught, Tangrowth, Azumarill, Clefable, Sylveon, and Mega Altaria and is also useful to hit Flying-types and Levitating Pokemon such as Thundurus, Talonflame, Tornadus-T, Latios, Latias, and Rotom-W. Despite not being boosted by Sheer Force, Hidden Power Ice provides crucial coverage on opposing Landorus formes, Gliscor, Garchomp, and Dragonite. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used for the general utility of removing items from opposing Pokemon and also hits Gengar, Latios, and Latias harder than any of this set's other attacks. Knock Off is also helpful to cripple Pokemon that rely on their item to repeatedly take attacks, such as Chansey and Assault Vest Tornadus-T. Psychic and Focus Blast are alternate coverage moves that can be used to hit Pokemon such as Conkeldurr, Mega Venusaur, Amoonguss, Skarmory, Chansey, and Mandibuzz. Note that Focus Blast can be used in place of Hidden Power Ice or Sludge Wave.

Set Details
========

The given EV spread maximizes Landorus's offensive presence and Speed. A Modest nature is used because Landorus can afford to lose some Speed for the extra power thanks to Rock Polish. However, a Rash nature should be used when Knock Off is chosen to maintain Landorus's Attack stat. Life Orb is the chosen item to give a 1.69x boost to Landorus's attacks that have secondary effects, bar Knock Off, when combined with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

This set is best used as a mid- or late-game sweeper against weakened or unprepared offensive teams. However, early-game, this set should be played like a normal Landorus, firing off powerful attacks and utilizing its coverage moves to hit their respective targets. It is important for Landorus to avoid status conditions and unnecessary damage before setting up to give it as many turns as possible to fire off attacks on the opposing team. Finding the right opportunity to set up is crucial. Some examples of when Landorus can set up include when it is against a Landorus-T locked into Earthquake, a Keldeo locked into Secret Sword, or a -2 Special Attack Latios or Latias.

Team Options
========

Pursuit support from Pokemon such as Bisharp, Tyranitar, Scizor, and Mega Scizor is very helpful to weaken or eliminate bulky Psychic-types that typically are used to check Landorus, such as Latios, Latias, Starmie, and Celebi. Note that Celebi loses to Sludge Wave variants, so it is a more important Pursuit target if Knock Off is chosen over Sludge Wave. Due to the fact that Landorus lures in and KOes Gliscor with Hidden Power Ice, Pokemon that benefit from Gliscor's removal such as Gengar and Mega Lopunny make for good teammates. If Hidden Power Ice is not chosen, Gengar can also lure in and KO Gliscor with Icy Wind. Note that pairing Mega Lopunny with Landorus allows the former to run a support or boosting move such as Baton Pass or Power-Up Punch over Ice Punch. Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Celebi, Jirachi, or Latias is extremely helpful to revive Landorus when it is weakened or give it a second chance at sweeping — this also allows Landorus to play even more recklessly. Pokemon that force Choice Scarf Landorus-T into using Earthquake in order to give Landorus a setup opportunity, such as Mega Diancie, Mega Metagross, Mega Charizard X, Garchomp, Heatran, and Mega Lopunny, also make good partners. Despite sharing a nasty 4x weakness to Ice, Garchomp checks certain Pokemon that threaten Landorus, notably Talonflame, Bisharp, Mega Lopunny, and Azumarill. In addition, Mega Diancie greatly appreciates Landorus luring in Celebi and hitting it with Sludge Wave, as well as hitting Choice Scarf Landorus-T with Hidden Power Ice. Stealth Rock support is very important to aid in Landorus's sweeping capabilities, such as in breaking Dragonite's Multiscale and allowing Landorus to KO Thundurus with Sludge Wave after Stealth Rock damage, provided it has a Rock Polish up. Thus, Pokemon such as the aforementioned Garchomp, Azelf, Mamoswine, and Terrakion make for good teammates.

All-Out Attacker
########
name: All-Out Attacker
move 1: Earth Power
move 2: Sludge Wave / Knock Off
move 3: Focus Blast / Stealth Rock
move 4: Hidden Power Ice
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid / Naive

Moves
========

Earth Power is a mandatory STAB move that hits most Pokemon which do not resist or are immune to it for heavy damage. Sludge Wave targets Grass- and Fairy-types such as Celebi, Tangrowth, Chesnuaght, Azumarill, Togekiss, Azumarill, Clefable, and Mega Altaria, while also providing coverage on Levitating or Flying-type Pokemon such as Latios, Latias, Rotom-W, and Thundurus. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used to hit Latios and Latias harder than any of Landorus's other moves, as well as crippling Pokemon that rely on their item such as Chansey and Assault Vest Tornadus-T. Focus Blast provides coverage on the likes of Skarmory, Bronzong, Mandibuzz, and Chansey; the latter notably is 2HKOed by Focus Blast after losing its Eviolite, making Knock Off and Focus Blast an excellent combination. However, if coverage on the mentioned Pokemon is provided elsewhere on your team, Stealth Rock is a perfectly viable option if you cannot fit it on another team member. Hidden Power Ice provides important coverage on Pokemon such as Gliscor, Landorus-T, Dragonite, and Garchomp. Rock Slide can be used to hit Pokemon such as Pinsir, Assault Vest Tornadus-T, Volcarona, and Mega Charizard Y.

Set Details
========

The given EV spread is standard for an offensive Pokemon, maximizing Landorus's Special Attack and Speed. A Timid nature is necessary to outspeed positive-natured base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y and Mega Gardevoir, but a Naive nature should be used with Knock Off to preserve Landorus's Defense stat to take priority attacks better. Life Orb is the only item that should be used, as it gives Landorus's attacks with a secondary effect, bar Knock Off, a 1.69x boost.

Usage Tips
========

Landorus is best played aggressively early on, firing off strong Earth Powers when given the opportunity. Utilize Landorus's chosen coverage moves to hit the appropriate targets. It is important for Landorus to avoid status conditions and take as little damage as possible in order to preserve its wallbreaking capabilities. Versus defensive teams, Knock Off is generally the best move to go for early-game to cripple bulkier Pokemon by removing their Leftovers or Assault Vest.

Team Options
========

Pursuit support from Pokemon such as Bisharp, Scizor, and Tyranitar is very helpful to weaken or KO bulky Psychic-types such as Latios, Latias, Starmie, and Celebi. This is especially helpful for dealing with Latios and Latias if Knock Off is not chosen, but it is otherwise not as necessary, as Landorus only needs a small amount of prior damage to KO them with Knock Off. Gengar appreciates Landorus luring in specially defensive Gliscor and weakening it with Hidden Power Ice, and they form a solid wallbreaking duo. Mega Diancie is a great teammate to check some of the priority users that threaten Landorus, such as Bisharp and Talonflame, while also outspeeding or Speed tying with Pokemon that are often used to revenge kill Landorus such as Keldeo, Latias, and Latios. Setup sweepers also benefit from Landorus's wallbreaking ability, such as Substitute + Calm Mind Keldeo, Nasty Plot Thundurus, Rock Polish Mega Diancie, and Swords Dance Bisharp. Stealth Rock support from Pokemon such as Garchomp, Cobalion, Terrakion, and Mamoswine is helpful to wear down Landorus's switch-ins, notably securing the 2HKO on Chansey with Focus Blast after its Eviolite has been Knocked Off.

Calm Mind
########
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Psychic / Hidden Power Ice
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid

Moves
========

Calm Mind boosts Landorus's Special Attack and Special Defense to incredible levels, allowing it to break through bulkier Pokemon. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest Sheer Force-boosted STAB move and hits very hard after a boost. Focus Blast provides important coverage on the likes of Skarmory, Mandibuzz, and Chansey. Psychic hits Mega Venusaur and Conkeldurr, as well as Flying-type and Levitating Pokemon such as Thundurus and Rotom-W. Hidden Power Ice can be used to target Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Dragonite. Lastly, Sludge Wave is another choice to provide coverage on Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Clefable, but it should only be used if Landorus's teammates cannot cover these Pokemon.

Set Details
========

The given EV spread is standard for an offensive Pokemon, maximizing Landorus's offensive power and Speed. A Timid nature is used to outspeed positive-natured base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir and Mega Charizard Y. Life Orb provides a significant boost to Landorus's attacks with a secondary effect when coupled with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

This set excels against balanced and defensive teams and should be played fairly aggressively, especially when paired with Healing Wish support. Early-game, Landorus should just be launching off strong Earth Powers and utilizing its coverage moves on their appropriate targets. Landorus should set up a Calm Mind versus a weak defensive Pokemon such as Hippowdon or Celebi. However, versus offensive teams, Landorus has very few opportunities to set up a Calm Mind; it should just use its strong attacks early-or mid-game in order to break holes for a teammate.

Team Options
========

Healing Wish support from the likes of Celebi, Latias, and Jirachi is very helpful to give Landorus another chance to sweep. In addition, the former two easily switch into Keldeo, a common offensive check to Landorus. Mega Diancie is another great teammate to check the priority users that threaten Landorus, particularly Talonflame and Bisharp. In addition, Mega Diancie's Rock Polish set pairs very well with this set due to the fact that Calm Mind Landorus has a great matchup against defensive teams, while Rock Polish Diancie can clean up weakened offensive teams. Other special attackers that can either pressure Chansey or lure it in to remove its Eviolite so that Landorus doesn't have to rely on Focus Blast make for good teammates. As such, Keldeo, Gengar, Flare Blitz Mega Charizard Y, Knock Off Mega Alakazam, and Magma Storm Heatran pair well with Landorus. Pursuit support from the likes of Scizor, Mega Scizor, Bisharp, and Tyranitar is excellent to eliminate or weaken bulky Psychic-types such as Celebi, Latios, and Latias. This is crucial for this set, as it has no way of dealing significant damage to Latios and Latias, and to a lesser extent, Celebi. Due to the fact that this set excels versus defensive teams, Pokemon that have a good matchup versus offensive teams in general are great teammates; some that have not already been listed are Talonflame, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Aerodactyl.

Other Options
########

Gravity allows Landorus to hit Flying-type and Levitating Pokemon with Earth Power and also has the added benefit of significantly increasing Focus Blast's accuracy. Substitute takes advantage of the switches Landorus forces and lets Landorus avoid Bisharp's Sucker Punch. A Choice Scarf set is generally better suited for Landorus-T, but Landorus's higher Speed and surprise factor make it somewhat usable.

Checks & Counters
########

**Counters**: Specific specially bulky Pokemon such as Cresselia, Mega Latias, and Gyarados completely counter Landorus, as they can sponge up its attacks and cripple it with a status condition or hit it hard with an attack.

**General Checks**: Pokemon such as Bronzong, Slowking, Goodra, and specially defensive Mega Sableye (Calm Mind, Knock Off, and Metal Burst variants) are solid checks to Landorus. However, Goodra is only a shaky check to Knock Off variants due to the fact that Knock Off + Earth Power combined with Stealth Rock damage has a high chance of KOing Goodra.

**Move-Specific Checks**: Certain Pokemon check Landorus if it lacks the appropriate coverage move. If Landorus lacks Knock Off, Gengar, Mew, and Chansey handle Landorus very well. If Landorus lacks Hidden Power Ice, specially defensive Gliscor has no trouble taking Landorus's attacks and crippling it with Knock Off or using it as setup fodder for Swords Dances. Opposing Landorus formes and Dragonite also fit under this scenario. If Landorus lacks Sludge Wave, Chansey and Mega Charizard Y act as solid checks. If Rock Slide is not chosen, Assault Vest Tornadus-T and Mega Charizard Y have no trouble switching into Landorus's attacks. Lastly, if Landorus lacks Focus Blast, Skarmory and Mandibuzz check Landorus.

**Revenge Killers**: Provided Landorus has not acquired a Rock Polish boost, naturally faster Pokemon such as Latios, Latias, Weavile, Tornadus-T, Thundurus, Keldeo, Mega Manectric, and Choice Scarf users such as Kyurem-B, Heatran, and Hydreigon can revenge kill Landorus, though some require a bit of prior damage. However, it should be noted that the majority of these Pokemon should not be switching into Landorus, as they check it with offensive pressure.

**Priority Users**: Priority users such as Talonflame, Bisharp, Azumarill, Mamoswine, and Weavile are able to revenge kill Landorus after a little prior damage.

I would slash Knock Off behind Sludge Wave on the RP set, and a Rash nature behind a Modest nature. Knock Off enables you to not get stopped by Latis nearly as easily which is pretty nice (you only need around 20% prior damage to KO Latias which you can get from something like a Keldeo Scald). It also enables you to cripple Chansey and AV Torn-T which can be pretty useful on special spam teams and helps you pull of a sweep later on. (edit : also it lets you set up on + destroy Gengar which is nice)

I'd mention Diancie in partners because it checks Talonflame, Latis, Torn-T and Flying types in general. In return, Lando lures Gliscor and Scarf Lando-T via HP Ice and Celebi thanks to Sludge Wave, or can remove Chansey's Eviolite if you choose to run Knock Off which enables Diancie to break it afterwards. In general, Diancie is great against offensive teams while Lando-I is great against balance teams so they have pretty good offensive synergy in terms of what playstyles they each beat.
I'd also mention stuff which forces Scarf Lando-T to go for EQ or punishes its usage of U-Turn, ie XZard, MMetagross, Heatran, Lopunny, Rocky Helmet Garchomp (pretty good partner in general despite the type overlap since it weakens talon/sharp/azu), Ferrothorn, Diancie falls under this as well. This helps Lando get opportunities to RP up for free.

I'd also have a section dedicated to priority users in C&C since those are the main things on offense stopping the RP set. Particularly, Talonflame, Bisharp, Azumarill, Mamoswine and Weavile are able to revenge kill it after little prior damage. Also add Excadrill in C&C becuase it either a) walls the standard RP set if running Air Baloon and b) outspeeds modest Lando in sand by one point if running Jolly.

Mention Superpower in OO since it hits 2HKOs Chansey after SR and has higher accuracy than Focus Blast. Rock Slide is also an okay-ish option for luring SpD Gyara and YZard but is generally far inferior to Lando's other options

Added the stuff above, thanks guys.
This is ready for QC. Might need some work on usage tips, but really when it comes to landorus its kinda just like "click earth power or appropriate coverage move"

This was all stuff discussed between QC so make sure to implement all of this.

Overview:
Excellent offensive stealth rock user to fit on offensive teams and notably is able to get past mega sableye
This can also be said for its implementation on Balanced builds as well not just offensive teams.
Despite its solid coverage movepool, often struggles with 4mss
We're talking about a mon on the verge of being S rank for picking and choosing checks and counters yet still manages to be a major threat. I don't think this is a very noticeable negative trait to mention more so that you can mention that it has a slight issue based on what it lacks

Edit: V This should be set order btw V

Rock Polish

move 4: Hidden Power Ice

With this said, you can consider this confirmation to remove the OO sentence where you put Rock Slide as a mediocre option.

Remove the mentions of U-Turn and Gravity on Lando-I. It is redundant to use U-Turn when you need to consider that Landorus-T provides a much more beneficial aspect of grabbing momentum due to its pivoting capabilities with Intimidate. Considering that Landorus is supplemented with Pursuit support to begin with on most sets, this is already pressure enough on traditional Psychic checks to not switch into Lando-I freely without prior thought based on circumstances. Gravity should be removed because the aspect of Gravity is once again done better as a lure purpose on Lando-T. Many of the switch ins to Lando-T are defensive Pokemon who by virtue of their typing, Skarmory and Rotom-W for examples, are susceptible to Gravity Lando-T. Landorus already has tools to hit a majority of its levitating and flying checks easily such as Sludge Wave for the Latis, Psychic for Rotom-W, Focus Blast for Skarmory, with only a handful of exceptions that will be listed under your checks and counters section.

Checks & Counters
########

You want to prioritize actual checks and counters with the counters being first, the general checks coming second, and specific checks afterwards. The offensive checks can fall beneath all of these which would include Pokemon such as Mamoswine, Conkeldurr, and Azumarill, stuff that can threaten it when they come in but will realistically never switch in to Lando-I.

**Counters**:
Cresselia, AV Torn-T, Mega Latias, Gyarados

**Checks**:
Charizard-Y, Bronzong, Slowking, Goodra, Specially Defensive M-Sableye CM, Knock Off, Metal Burst variants.

**Move Specific Checks**: Elaborate on whether or not some lose or win against a certain variant as well.

Lacks Knock Off:
Gengar, Mew, Chansey

Lacks HP Ice:
Specially Defensive Gliscor, Landorus, Landorus Therian, Dragonite

Lacks Sludge Wave:
Chansey, Charizard-Y, Remove Celebi

Lacks Focus Blast:
Skarmory, Mandibuzz, Rotom-W

Afterwards checks that can threaten it through offensive pressure such as the ones previously stated would go in this section. Explain how these are only checks based on circumstances and that they're not switch-ins more so of applying pressure. QC 1/3 when all this has been implemented.

Although I dont exactly see how Tornadus-T is a counter now that Rock Slide is on the set which OHKOs after stealth rock damage o.o

4 Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Rock Slide vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 268-317 (80.7 - 95.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

please don't mention weavile for pursuit support, it has too much 4mss to run the move nowadays and isn't even safe in using pursuit, having no ability to switch in to latis and losing straight up 1v1 if the lati predicts pursuit.

chansey is a big koff target that you forgot to mention, and it's also good for allowing lando to bypass fat mew, get rid of torn-t's assault vest, and annoy scarfers that may want to pivot in. sludge wave is missing a celebi mention in the all out atker set. spdef talon, pinsir (actually ohkoing), and volc are other major rock slide targets.

the 4 evs on the all out atker should be in defense as the main set doesn't have any physical moves

all just minor things in regards to mentions, gj 2/3

sweet, will write this soon
two questions:
-where should stealth rock be? moves or oo?
-can I move tornadus-t to "move specific checks" for the reason stated above?

mention psychic and focus blast in moves section for rp lando, note that focus blast can also work over hp ice or sludge wave. remove these useless sentences in set details:"If Knock Off is chosen, the remaining 4 EVs should be moved from Defense to Attack." "If Rock Slide or Knock Off is chosen, the remaining 4 EVs should be moved from Defense to Attack." as 4 evs in atk aren't going to really accomplish anything. for the aaa set, it should look like this:

move 1: Earth Power
move 2: Sludge Wave / Knock Off
move 3: Focus Blast / Stealth Rock
move 4: Hidden Power Ice

we felt that sr had more overall utility than rock slide, but be sure to mention rock slide in moves. stealth rock is viable over any one of lando's coverage options, we just didn't want to go overboard on slashes so be sure to mention that. for cm set, mention sludge wave in moves, but no slash. while it doesn't hit much that epower+focus+another coverage hit, it warrants a reference for teams that are relatively fairy weak. oo needs to be buffed up as well. get rid of superpower, what focus blast hits is more relevant and the better option to use in a majority of scenarios. best offensive abuser of gravity, choice scarf set is outclassed by land-t, but extra speed and suprise factor makes it somewhat viable, and u-turn which is slightly worse coverage, but also functions as momentum. once once you implement all this 3/3

Rock Polish doubles Landorus's Speed, allowing to it to outspeed almost the entire unboosted meta metagame. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest STAB move when factoring in the Life Orb + and Sheer Force boosts, and hits most Pokemon that don't resist it or are immune for incredible amounts of damage. Sludge Wave provides coverage on Grass- and Fairy-types such as Celebi, Chesnaught, Tangrowth, Azumarill, Clefable, Sylveon, and Mega Altaria,(AC) and is also useful to hit Flying-types and Levitating Pokemon such as Thundurus, Rotom-W, Talonflame, Latios, Latias, and Tornadus-T. (Combining sentence below with this) Despite not being boosted by Sheer Force, Hidden Power Ice provides crucial coverage on opposing Landorus formes, Gliscor, Garchomp, and Dragonite. Sludge Wave is also useful to hit Flying-types and Levitating Pokemon such as Thundurus, Rotom-W, Talonflame, Latios, Latias, and Tornadus-T. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used for the general utility of removing the items from opposing Pokemon,(RC) and also hits Gengar, Latios, and Latias harder than any of this set's(AA) other attacks. Knock Off is also helpful to cripple Pokemon that rely on their item to repeatedly take attacks such as Chansey and Assault Vest Tornadus-T.

Set Details
========

The given EV spread maximizes Landorus's offensive presence and Speed. A Modest nature is used because Landorus can afford losing the to lose some Speed for the extra power thanks to the use of Rock Polish. However, a Rash nature should be used when Knock Off is chosen to maintain Landorus's Attack stat. Life Orb is the chosen item to give a 1.69% boost to Landorus's attacks with that have secondary effects, bar Knock Off, when combined with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

This set is best used as a mid- to late-game sweeper against weakened or unprepared offensive teams. However, early game, this set should be played like a normal Landorus, firing off powerful attacks and utilizing its coverage moves to hit their respective targets. It is important for Landorus to avoid status conditions and unnecessary damage before setting up to give it as many turns as possible to fire off attacks on the opposing team. Finding the right opportunity to set up is crucial. Some examples of when Landorus can set up are include against a Landorus-T locked into Earthquake, a Keldeo locked into Secret Sword, or a -2 Special Attack Latios or Latias.

Team Options
========

Due to the fact that Landorus lures in Gliscor with Hidden Power Ice, Pokemon that benefit from Gliscor's removal such as Gengar and Mega Lopunny make for good teammates. Note that pairing Mega Lopunny with Landorus allows it to run a support or boosting move like Power-up Punch or Baton Pass over Ice Punch. Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Celebi, Jirachi, and or Latias is extremely helpful to revive Landorus when it is weakened or give it a second chance at sweeping - (AD) this also allows Landorus to play even more recklessly. Pokemon that force Choice Scarf Landorus-T into using Earthquake in order to give Landorus a setup opportunity, such as Mega Diancie, Mega Metagross, Mega Charizard X, Garchomp, Heatran, and Mega Lopunny,(AC) also make good partners. Despite sharing a nasty 4x Ice weakness(lowercase), Garchomp checks certain Pokemon that threaten Landorus, notably Talonflame, Bisharp, Mega Lopunny, and Azumarill. In addition, Mega Diancie greatly appreciates Landorus luring in Celebi and hitting with Sludge Wave,(AC) as well as and hitting Choice Scarf Landorus-T with Hidden Power Ice.(You don't lure them in with those moves) Stealth Rock support is very important to aid in Landorus's sweeping capabilities, such as in breaking Dragnite's Dragonite's Multiscale and allowing Landorus to KO Thundurus with Sludge Wave after Stealth Rock damage, provided it has a Rock Polish up. Thus, Pokemon such as the aforementioned Garchomp, Azelf, Mamoswine, and Terrakion make for good teammates.

move 3: Focus Blast / Stealth Rock
move 4: Hidden Power Ice
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid / Naive

Moves
========

Alternatively, Knock Off can be used to hit Latios and Latias harder than any of Landorus's other moves, as well as crippling Pokemon that rely on their item such as Assault Vest Tornadus-T and Chansey. Focus Blast provides coverage on the likes of Skarmory, Bronzong, Mandibuzz, and Chansey; the latter notably being 2HKOed by Focus Blast after losing its Eviolite, making Knock Off and Focus Blast an excellent combination.

Set Details
========

The given EV spread is standard for an offensive Pokemon, maximizing Landorus's Special Attack and Speed. A Timid nature is necessary to outspeed positive-natured(AH) base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y and Mega Gardevoir, but a Naive nature should be used with Knock off to preserve Landorus's Defense stat to take priority attacks better. Life Orb is the only item that should be used, as it gives Landorus's attacks with a secondary effect,(AC) bar Knock Off,(AC) a 1.69% boost.

Usage Tips
========

Versus defensive teams, Knock Off is generally the best move to go for early game to cripple bulkier Pokemon by removing their Leftovers or Assault Vest.

Team Options
========

Pursuit support from Pokemon such as Bisharp, Scizor, and Tyranitar is very helpful to weaken or KO bulky Psychic-types such as Latios, Latias, Starmie, and Celebi. This is especially helpful for Latios and Latias if Knock Off is not chosen, as Landorus only needs a slight bit small amount of prior damage to KO them with Knock Off. Setup sweepers that also benefit from Landorus's wallbreaking ability, such as Substitute + Calm Mind Keldeo, Nasty Plot Thundurus, Rock Polish Mega Diancie, and Swords Dance Bisharp. Stealth Rock support from Pokemon such as Garchomp, Cobalion, Terrakion, and Mamoswine is helpful to wear down Landorus's switch-ins(AH), notably securing the 2HKO on Chansey with Focus Blast after it's(RA) Eviolite has been Knocked Off.

Calm Mind
########
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Psychic / Hidden Power Ice
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid

Moves
========

Calm Mind boosts Landorus's Special Attack and Special Defense to incredible levels, allowing it to break through bulkier Pokemon. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest Sheer Force-boosted STAB move, and hits very hard after a boost. Lastly, Sludge Wave is another choice to provide coverage on Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Clefable, but should only be used if Landorus's teammates cannot cover these Pokemon.

Set Details
========

The given EV spread is standard for an offensive Pokemon, maximizing Landorus's offensive Power power and Speed. A Timid nature is used to outspeed positive natured base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir and Mega Charizard Y. Life Orb provides a significant boost to Landorus's attacks with a secondary effect when coupled with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

This set excels best against balanced and defensive teams, and should be played fairly aggressively, especially when paired with Healing Wish support. Early game, Landorus should just be launching off strong Earth Powers and utilizing its coverage moves on their appropriate targets. Landorus should set up a Calm Mind versus a weak defensive Pokemon such as Hippowdon or Celebi. However, versus offensive teams, Landorus has very few opportunities to set up a Calm Mind; it should just use its strong attacks early-to mid-game in order to break open holes for a teammate.

Team Options
========

Healing Wish support from the likes of Celebi, Latias, and Jirachi is very helpful to give Landorus another chance to sweep. In addition, the former two easily switch into Keldeo, a common offensive check to Landorus. Mega Diancie is yet again another great teammate to check the priority users that threaten Landorus, particularly Talonflame and Bisharp. In addition, Mega Diancie's Rock Polish set pairs very well with this set due to the fact that Calm Mind Landorus has a great matchup against defensive teams, while Rock Polish Diancie can clean up weakened offensive teams. Other special attackers that can either pressure Chansey or or lure it in to remove its Eviolite so that Landorus doesn't have to rely on Focus Blast make for good teammates. As such, Keldeo, Gengar, Flare Blitz Charizard Y, Knock Off Mega Alakazam, and Magma Storm Heatran pair well. Pursuit support from the likes of Scizor, Mega Scizor, Bisharp, and Tyranitar is excellent to eliminate or weaken bulky Psychic-types such as Celebi, Latios, and Latias. This is crucial for this set as it has no way of dealing significant damage to Latios and Latias, and to a lesser extent, Celebi. Due to the fact that this set excels versus defensive teams, Pokemon that have a good matchup versus offensive teams in general are great teammates, and some that have not been already listed are Talonflame, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Aerodactyl.

Other Options
########

Gravity allows Landorus to hit Flying-type and Levitating Pokemon with Earth Power, and also has the added benefit of significantly increasing Focus Blast's accuracy. Substitute takes advantage of the switches Landorus forces, and avoids Bisharps Sucker Punch. A Choice Scarf set is generally outclassed by Landorus-T, but Landorus's higher Speed and surprise factor make it somewhat usable.

Checks & Counters
########

**Counters**: Specific specially bulky Pokemon such as Cresselia, Mega Latias, and Gyarados completely counter Landorus as they can sponge up its attacks and can cripple Landorus with a status condition or hit hard with an attack.

**General Checks**: Pokemon such as Bronzong, Slowking, Goodra, Specially Defensive Mega Sableye (Calm Mind, Knock Off, and Metal Burst variants) are solid checks to Landorus. However, Goodra is only a shaky check to Knock Off variants due to the fact that Knock Off,(RC) + (afaik we can use the plus here) Earth Power,(RC) and combined with Stealth Rock damage has a high chance of KOing Goodra.

**Move-Specific(AH) Checks**: Certain Pokemon check Landorus if it is lacking a certain coverage move. If Rock Slide is not chosen, Assault Vest Tornadus-T and Mega Charizard Y have no trouble switching in to into Landorus's attacks. Lastly, if Landorus lacks Focus Blast, Skarmory and Mandibuzz check Landorus.

**Revenge Killers**: Provided Landorus has not acquired a Rock Polish boost, naturally faster Pokemon such as Latios, Latias, Weavile, Tornadus-T, Thundurus, Keldeo, Mega Manectric, and Choice Scarf users such as Kyurem-B, Heatran, and Hydreigon,(AC) can revenge kill Landorus,(AC) ;(RS) though some requiring require a bit of prior damage. (latter phrase was not a complete sentence) However, it should be noted that the majority of these should not be switching into Landorus, as they check it with offensive pressure.

**Priority users**: Priority users such as Talonflame, Bisharp, Azumarill, Mamoswine and Weavile are able to revenge kill it Landorus after little prior damage.

Landorus is one of the most fearsome wallbreakers in the tier. The combination of Sheer Force and recoil-less Life Orb boosted attacks bring its power to monstrous levels. With multiple effective boosting moves at its disposal, being such as Rock Polish and Calm Mind, Landorus can put exert immense amounts of pressure versus all playstyles. In addition, Landorus is an excellent offensive Stealth Rock user that can easily fit on offensive and balanced teams, notably being able to break through Mega Sableye - —(AD) (adding the longer dash to indicate pause) a typical stop on defensive teams to entry hazard setters. For an offensive Pokemon, Landorus's Ground / Flying typing only provides two weaknesses and while being immune to two common attacking types. Landorus also sits at a decent Speed tier, just above base 100 Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir, Victini, and the Mega Charizard formes both of Charizard's Mega Evolutions. However, Landorus's Speed leaves it outpaced by common offensive threats such as Keldeo, Latios, Latias, Thundurus, and Mega Lopunny. Despite its excellent coverage movepool, Landorus often struggles with certain Pokemon depending on which move it lacks.

Set Details

The given EV spread maximizes Landorus's offensive presence and Speed. A Modest nature is used because Landorus can afford losing the to lose some Speed for the extra power thanks to the use of Rock Polish. However, a Rash nature should be used when Knock Off is chosen to maintain Landorus's Attack stat. Life Orb is the chosen item to give a 1.69% boost to Landorus's attacks with that have secondary effects, bar Knock Off, when combined with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips

This set is best used as a mid- to late-game sweeper against weakened or unprepared offensive teams. However, early game, this set should be played like a normal Landorus, firing off powerful attacks and utilizing its coverage moves to hit their respective targets. It is important for Landorus to avoid status conditions and unnecessary damage before setting up to give it as many turns as possible to fire off attacks on the opposing team. Team Options

Pursuit support from Pokemon such as Bisharp, Tyranitar, Scizor, and Mega Scizor is very helpful to weaken or eliminate bulky Psychic-types that typically are used to check Landorus, such as Latios, Latias, Starmie, and Celebi. Note that pairing Mega Lopunny with Landorus allows it to run a support or boosting move like Power-up Punch or Baton Pass over Ice Punch. Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Celebi, Jirachi, and Latias is extremely helpful to revive Landorus when it is weakened or give it a second chance at sweeping - (AD) this also allows Landorus to play even more recklessly. Despite sharing a nasty 4x Ice Weakness, Garchomp checks certain Pokemon that threaten Landorus, notably Talonflame, Bisharp, Mega Lopunny, and Azumarill. In addition, Mega Diancie greatly appreciates Landorus luring in Celebi and hitting with Sludge Wave and hitting Choice Scarf Landorus-T with Hidden Power Ice.(You don't lure them in with those moves) Stealth Rock support is very important to aid in Landorus's sweeping capabilities, such as in breaking Dragnite's Dragonite's Multiscale and allowing Landorus to KO Thundurus with Sludge Wave after Stealth Rock damage, provided it has a Rock Polish up. Thus, Pokemon such as the aforementioned Garchomp, Azelf, Mamoswine, and Terrakion make for good teammates.

Implemented most, thanks. I'm used to using "make for good teammates" as a phrase so I kept that as is, and some other small things I thought should stay.

Edit: yeah I know, no prob - I may have missed something too.

I dont really disagree with that notion, but Landorus is such as massive threat and there are very few full counters and from what I assume QC felt that it was important for them to have their own section. I guess I could name it "Select Specially Bulky Pokemon" like I had before but idk.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Versus defensive teams, Knock Off is generally the best move to go for early game to cripple bulkier Pokemon by removing their Leftovers or Assault Vest.

Team Options
========

Calm Mind
########
name: Calm Mind

move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Psychic / Hidden Power Ice
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid

Moves
========

Calm Mind boosts Landorus's Special Attack and Special Defense to incredible levels, allowing it to break through bulkier Pokemon. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest Sheer Force-boosted STAB move, and hits very hard after a boost. Lastly, Sludge Wave is another choice to provide coverage on Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Clefable, but should only be used if Landorus's teammates cannot cover these Pokemon.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

Goddess Briyella (who isn't at work today) ♥
We went over this on IRC. Almost a perfect check and I only had to make a few changes. Please implement it. :)

My few additional fixes:

In addition, Mega Diancie greatly appreciates Landorus luring in Celebi and hitting it with Sludge Wave, and as well as hitting Choice Scarf Landorus-T with Hidden Power Ice.

Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Celebi, Jirachi, and or Latias is extremely helpful to revive Landorus when it is weakened or give it a second chance at sweeping.

Despite sharing a nasty 4x Ice weakness(lowercase), Garchomp checks certain Pokemon that threaten Landorus, notably Talonflame, Bisharp, Mega Lopunny, and Azumarill.

I left some comments in there, Deinosaur - some of my stuff is subjective/nitpicky but others are pretty important, so take a look if you have time :)

Overview
########

Landorus is one of the most fearsome wallbreakers in the tier. The combination of Sheer Force and recoil-less, Life Orb-boosted attacks bring raises ("brings" is fine too, but not "bring", because "combination" is singular) its power to monstrous levels. Though Landorus is known as For an offensive Pokemon, (Landorus's typing is not an offensive Pokemon) Landorus's its Ground / Flying typing only provides two weaknesses and while being immune giving it immunities to two common attacking types.

Rock Polish
########
name: Rock Polish

move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Sludge Wave / Knock Off
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Modest / Rash

Moves
========

Rock Polish doubles Landorus's Speed, allowing it to outspeed almost the entire unboosted metagane. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest STAB move when factoring in the Life Orb and Sheer Force boosts, (remove comma) and hits most Pokemon that don't resist it or are immune to it for incredible amounts of damage. Sludge Wave provides coverage on Grass- and Fairy-types such as Celebi, Chesnaught, Tangrowth, Azumarill, Clefable, Sylveon, and Mega Altaria, (remove comma) and is also useful to hit Flying-types and Levitating Pokemon such as Thundurus, Talonflame, Tornadus-T, Latios, Latias, Talonflame, Tornadus-T, and Rotom-W. Despite not being boosted by Sheer Force, Hidden Power Ice provides crucial coverage on opposing Landorus formes, Gliscor, Garchomp, and Dragonite. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used for the general utility of removing the items from opposing Pokemon and also hits Gengar, Latios, and Latias harder than any of this set's other attacks. Knock Off is also helpful to cripple Pokemon that rely on their item to repeatedly take attacks, (comma) such as Chansey and Assault Vest Tornadus-T.

Set Details
========

Life Orb is the chosen item to give a 1.69% 1.69x boost to Landorus's attacks that have secondary effects, bar Knock Off, when combined with Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

This set is best used as a mid- to or late-game (Spelling and Grammar Standards say to avoid mid-to-late-game) sweeper against weakened or unprepared offensive teams.

========

Due to the fact that Landorus lures in and KOes (idk if lure has a special meaning in analyses but I would think that Gliscor isn't lured in by HP Ice, it's lured in by Landorus and then KOed by HP Ice) Gliscor with Hidden Power Ice, Pokemon that benefit from Gliscor's removal such as Gengar and Mega Lopunny make for good teammates. If Hidden Power Ice is not chosen, Gengar can also lure in and KO Gliscor with Icy Wind. Note that pairing Mega Lopunny with Landorus allows it the former to run a support or boosting move like such as Baton Pass or Power-Up Punch or Baton Pass over Ice Punch. Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Celebi, Jirachi, or Latias is extremely helpful to revive Landorus when it is weakened or give it a second chance at sweeping — this also allows Landorus to play even more recklessly. Pokemon that force Choice Scarf Landorus-T into using Earthquake in order to give Landorus a setup opportunity, such as Mega Diancie, Mega Metagross, Mega Charizard X, Garchomp, Heatran, and Mega Lopunny, also make for good partners. Despite sharing a nasty 4x weakness to Ice weakness, Garchomp checks certain Pokemon that threaten Landorus, notably Talonflame, Bisharp, Mega Lopunny, and Azumarill.

Thus, Pokemon such as the aforementioned Garchomp, Azelf, Mamoswine, and Terrakion make for good teammates.

All-Out Attacker

name: All-Out Attacker
move 1: Earth Power
move 2: Sludge Wave / Knock Off
move 3: Focus Blast / Stealth Rock
move 4: Hidden Power Ice
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Timid / Naive

Moves
========

Alternatively, Knock Off can be used to hit Latios and Latias harder than any of Landorus's other moves, as well as crippling Pokemon that rely on their item such as Chansey and Assault Vest Tornadus-T and Chansey. Focus Blast provides coverage on the likes of Skarmory, Bronzong, Mandibuzz, and Chansey; the latter notably is being 2HKOed by Focus Blast after losing its Eviolite, making Knock Off and Focus Blast an excellent combination.

Set Details
========

Life Orb is the only item that should be used, as it gives Landorus's attacks with a secondary effect, bar Knock Off, a 1.69% 1.69x boost.

Usage Tips
========

========

Pursuit support from Pokemon such as Bisharp, Scizor, and Tyranitar is very helpful to weaken or KO bulky Psychic-types such as Latios, Latias, Starmie, and Celebi. This is especially helpful for dealing with Latios and Latias if Knock Off is not chosen, as Landorus only needs a small amount of prior damage to KO them with Knock Off. (sorry, kinda confused here, you say Knock Off is not chosen, but then you say that Landorus can KO with Knock Off with some prior damage) Gengar appreciates Landorus luring in Specially Defensive Gliscor (if that's a well-known set name you can keep it capitalized, otherwise change to "specially defensive") and weakening it with Hidden Power Ice, and they form a solid wallbreaking duo.

Moves
========

Calm Mind boosts Landorus's Special Attack and Special Defense to incredible levels, allowing it to break through bulkier Pokemon. Earth Power is Landorus's strongest Sheer Force-boosted STAB move, (remove comma) and hits very hard after a boost.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

This set excels against balanced and defensive teams, (remove comma) and should be played fairly aggressively, especially when paired with Healing Wish support. Early-game, Landorus should just be launching off strong Earth Powers and utilizing its coverage moves on their appropriate targets. Landorus should set up a Calm Mind versus a weak defensive Pokemon such as Hippowdon or Celebi. However, versus offensive teams, Landorus has very few opportunities to set up a Calm Mind; it should just use its strong attacks early-to or (or "and", whichever works better) mid-game in order to break holes for a teammate.

Team Options
========

Healing Wish support from the likes of Celebi, Latias, and Jirachi is very helpful to give Landorus another chance to sweep. In addition, the former two easily switch into Keldeo, a common offensive check to Landorus. Mega Diancie is yet again (don't reference things said in previous sets) another great teammate to check the priority users that threaten Landorus, particularly Talonflame and Bisharp. This is crucial for this set, (comma) as it has no way of dealing significant damage to Latios and Latias, and to a lesser extent, Celebi. Due to the fact that this set excels versus defensive teams, Pokemon that have a good matchup versus offensive teams in general are great teammates, and; (semicolon) some that have not already been already listed are Talonflame, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Aerodactyl.

Other Options
########

Gravity allows Landorus to hit Flying-type and Levitating Pokemon with Earth Power, (remove comma) and also has the added benefit of significantly increasing Focus Blast's accuracy. Substitute takes advantage of the switches Landorus forces, and lets Landorus avoid Bisharp's avoids Bisharps Sucker Punch. A Choice Scarf set is generally outclassed done better (a bit nitpicky but before you were comparing a set to a Pokemon. you could also say "is generally better suited for Landorus-T" or something, up to you) by Landorus-T, but Landorus's higher Speed and surprise factor make it somewhat usable.

Checks & Counters
########

**Counters**: Specific specially bulky Pokemon such as Cresselia, Mega Latias, and Gyarados completely counter Landorus, (comma) as they can sponge up its attacks and cripple it can cripple Landorus with a status condition or hit it hard with an attack.

**Move-Specific Checks**: Certain Pokemon check Landorus if it is lacking a certain lacks the appropriate (used "certain" already in this sentence) coverage move. If Landorus lacks Knock Off, Gengar, Mew, and Chansey handle Landorus very well. If Landorus lacks Hidden Power Ice, Specially Defensive Gliscor (what I said about the set name before) has no trouble taking Landorus's attacks and crippling it with Knock Off or using it as setup fodder for Swords Dances.

**Priority Users**: Priority users such as Talonflame, Bisharp, Azumarill, Mamoswine, (comma) and Weavile are able to revenge kill Landorus after a little prior damage.
Implemented, thanks! Tried my best to fix up that sentence you were confused about.
Otherwise, this is done.

hmm, okay. I think this would fix it:

This is especially helpful for dealing with Latios and Latias if Knock Off is not chosen, but it is otherwise not as necessary, as Landorus only needs a small amount of prior damage to KO them with Knock Off.
