Here's a Check for all of you :]

Granbull @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 Spe
Impish Nature
- Play Rough
- Earthquake
- Heal Bell / Thunder Wave
- Roar / Thunder Wave

Granbull's solid physical bulk, resistance to Fighting-type moves, and access to Intimidate all come together to make it a great Medicham check. Granbull can switch into any of Medicham's attacks at least once, and can easily OHKO Medicham in return with a STAB boosted, super effective Play Rough. I'd call Granbull more of a hard check than an 100% counter because it can get worn down by repeated Zen Headbutts due to its lack of reliable recovery outside of Rest, but there's pretty much no denying that this thing is an excellent check, at least imo. Calcs below!

-1 252+ Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Granbull: 134-160 (34.9 - 41.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

-1 252+ Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Granbull: 109-129 (28.4 - 33.6%) -- 0.2% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

-1 252+ Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham Bullet Punch vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Granbull: 91-109 (23.7 - 28.4%) -- 31.3% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

-1 252+ Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham Fire Punch vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Granbull: 84-100 (21.9 - 26.1%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

0 Atk Granbull Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Medicham: 288-342 (110.3 - 131%) -- guaranteed OHKO

This is a decent check

Slowking @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

CM Slowking can take anything from Medicham except Thunder Punch while it can keep itself healthy with Slack Off and 2HKO Medicham after some Life Orb rounds. Plus, with Regenerator, it can pivot to check if it carries Thunder Punch or not.

252+ Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 153-181 (38.8 - 45.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham Thunder Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 218-257 (55.3 - 65.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Slowking Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Medicham: 109-129 (41.7 - 49.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Cofagrigus: 126-149 (39.4 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

This is the best Medicham can do, then gets Mummy which turns into 19.7-23.4% at best.
Did i mention it beats all kinds of medicham due to its STAB Shadow Ball being a pain to Medi's ass?
Couldn't be more basic than that.

Physically Defensive Togetic:

Togetic @ Eviolite
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Serious Nature
- Roost
- Dazzling Gleam
- Defog
- Heal Bell

Togetic's combination of great typing and bulk allow it to stop many offensive threats, Medicham being one of them.
Togetic can come in on high jump kicks and fire punches all day, and can easily dispose of medicham with dazzling gleam. Any damage it accrues during this event can be roosted off with ease. While zen headbutt 3hkoes and thunderpunch can 2hko, if Medicham is able to knock out togetic, the damage Togetic does from dazzling gleam + the life orb damage Medicham inflicts on itself, Medicham will be dead anyway.

Offensive Calcs:

8 SpA Togetic Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Medicham: 186-218 (71.2 - 83.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Defensive Calcs:

252 Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Togetic: 44-53 (14 - 16.9%) -- possible 6HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham Zen Headbutt vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Togetic: 110-133 (35.1 - 42.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Aromatisse @ Leftovers
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
- Aromatherapy

Aromatisse is a nice check to life orb medicham as it a fairy type mon. It has big advantage vs medicham. It resists medicham most deadly STAB move which high jump kick. It can safely come in vs medicham as none of the moves are able to 2hko aromatisse. Aromatisse can ohko medicham with a single moonblast.

Calculations:

252 Atk Life Orb Pure Power Medicham High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Aromatisse: 148-175 (36.4 - 43.1%) -- 98.7% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Escavalier @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 212 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Megahorn
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Swords Dance

my new fave mon to theorymon about and that i still haven't used, it's ResTalk Escav! Ok, so he's got a bit of a beefier Attack than usual, but SD aboma is a huge threat to any stall team, so having a way better matchup against it is definitely worth the EVs and nature.

40+ Atk Escavalier Megahorn vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 366-432 (100.5 - 118.6%)

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Escavalier: 117-138 (34 - 40.1%)

+2 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Escavalier: 232-274 (67.4 - 79.6%)

Only problem is, EQ->Switch out->SD->KO, so you're pressured to Rest by an EQ on the switch-in. That said, you can switch into any other move, and Overcoat is cool. If SR isn't up and fairly low rolls you can actually survive the above scenario too, which is as baller as it sounds.

Bronzong as a Check

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Physically Defensive Bronzong is not that bad. Iron Head is over Gyro Ball or else it can't kill Abomasnow since Iron Head can prey on the recoil damage from Wood Hammer and Gyro ball does jackshit. It's labeled as a check because Bronzong can't fully counter a +2 Mega Abomasnow Wood Hammer after rocks, which is sad considering it resists it :L

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Bronzong: 71-84 (21 - 24.8%) -- guaranteed 5HKO after hail damage and Leftovers recovery

+2 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Bronzong: 141-166 (41.7 - 49.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage and Leftovers recovery

Steelix @ Steelixite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake
- Roar

Mega Steelix as a check;

Mega Steelix can switch in up to three Earthquake's from an unboosted Mega Abomasnow thanks to its massive physical bulk and thus allows Mega Steelix several switch-in opportunities against Mega Abomasnow. Wood Hammer fails to 2HKO as well and induces some recoil damage. Mega Steelix Speed ties and easily 2HKOes Abomasnow with a Heavy Slam, while it can use Stealth Rock to damage it badly upon switch in if Abomasnow switches out of Steelix. If it tries to set up on the switch in and Mega Steelix is a bit weakened, it can use Roar to phaze it out, since Heavy Slam cannot OHKO Mega Abomasnow when at full HP.

Durant as a check:

Durant @ Life Orb / Lum Berry
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hone Claws
- Iron Head
- Superpower
- Crunch

Durant may be as frail as a wet paper bag on the special side, but its physical defense is actually quite impressive, which works well in tandem with its great defensive typing. While it's not a very good idea to attempt to set up on Mega Abomasnow, especially if it's at +2, Durant can pretty much take all of Mega Aboma's hits at least once if it has to and OHKO back with Iron Head. A +2 Ice Shard is only doing like 30% max to Durant, so it's not like Mega Aboma can beat Durant unless it's VERY weakened. Also, EQ has a pretty low chance to 2HKO at +0, so Durant can potentially set up on Mega Aboma late-game and still have enough health left to sweep even with LO recoil.

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Durant: 110-130 (42.8 - 50.5%) -- 46.5% chance to 2HKO after hail damage
+2 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Durant: 66-78 (25.6 - 30.3%) -- 4.7% chance to 3HKO after hail damage

Ferroseed check

"will the real slim seedy please stand up"

Ferroseed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Atk / 176 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave

Ferroseed is definitely an interesting Pokemon, being the base evolution to OU's most annoying checks, ferroseed has amazing defensive bulk complemented with eviolite, making it perfect as a check for Mega Abomasnow. This is a pretty standard set, however, gyro ball has the potential to 2HKO Abomasnow, and this being the SD set, hell even setting up will barely help this thing take out ferro. And with Stealth rocks up, Aboma is prone to a clean cut 2HKO. Thunder wave and Leech seed isn't really necessary however they're great to use when the opponent manages to switch out.

here, have some calcs saying what i mean
0 Atk Ferroseed Gyro Ball (132 BP) vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 158-188 (43.4 - 51.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
0 Atk Ferroseed Gyro Ball (132 BP) vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 158-188 (43.4 - 51.6%) -- 9.4% chance to 2HKO

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Ferroseed: 62-74 (21.2 - 25.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after hail damage

Cobalion @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 160 HP / 96 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Close Combat / Sacred Sword
- Volt Switch
- Iron Head / Taunt

Cobalion is a good Check to Mega Abomasnow since it can come in on any of Mega Abomasnows stab moves and revenge it with a Close Combat (or set up Stealth Rocks, Volt Switch predicting the switch or Iron Head / Sacred Sword to reliable 2HKO it).

The situations where it loses are when Mega Abomasnow Earthquakes or Swords Dance on the switch to Cobalion and you loose the 56/44 role with Close Combat (or Stealth Rocks aren't up).

So if you're really struggling with Mega Abomasnow I would suggest to run a little bit more attack (you need 184 in attack to 100% OHKO with Close Combat after Stealth Rocks) and also make sure you keep Stealth Rocks up, so that you escape the 56/44 role.
96 Atk Cobalion Close Combat vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 254-300 (69.7 - 82.4%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
96 Atk Cobalion Sacred Sword vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 188-224 (51.6 - 61.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
96 Atk Cobalion Iron Head vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 168-200 (46.1 - 54.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
- Pain Split/Toxic Spikes
- Will-O-Wisp

Okay so Weezing can 2HKO Mega Abomasnow with Flamethrower, while Aboma's strongest move against Weezing is +2 Wood Hammer, which at best does 48,8%:
+2 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Weezing: 138-163 (41.3 - 48.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage and Black Sludge recovery
Even with the speed Abomasnow has invested, you're still faster than Abomasnow. Meaning you can switch on him whatever he does: Boost or attack, you don't fear much from Mega Abomasnow with Weezing ( At least if it's SD, duh )

Fletchinder
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 92 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost

Fletchinder is a shaky counter to SD Mega Abomasnow, but it can work. It 2HKOs Mega Abomasnow with Acrobatics and Mega Abomasnow can't OHKO with a +2 Ice Shard. It's shaky because if Mega Abomasnow gets a high damage roll, Fletchinder could be knocked out after two rounds of hail damage and if Fletchinder decides to Roost, it could be met with an Earthquake. If Stealth Rock is up on Fletchinder's side, it could lead to 50/50s between Roost and Acrobatics. However, if Stealth Rock is up on Mega Abomasnow's side, Acrobatics has a decent chance of straight up OHKOing Mega Abomasnow.
252+ Atk Fletchinder Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 260-308 (71.4 - 84.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Fletchinder Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 260-308 (71.4 - 84.6%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Ice Shard vs. 160 HP / 4 Def Fletchinder: 118-139 (38.6 - 45.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage
+2 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Ice Shard vs. 160 HP / 4 Def Fletchinder: 234-276 (76.7 - 90.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after hail damage

Then there's the scenario where Fletchinder burns Mega Abomasnow. I'm too lazy to determine what could happen if X does Z move to Y after X burns Y, so I'm just gonna say Fletchinder can win under certain scenarios and if it wins certain 50/50s. If that makes Fletchinder more of a check than a counter, then pretend I said it was a check. :]

Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe
Adamant Nature

Doublade is not 2HKOd by Earthquake after Hail, outspeeds pretty much every time with this Speed Creep, and OHKOs with Iron Head + Sneak pretty much every time even without Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Earthquake vs. 176 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Doublade: 114-136 (37.6 - 44.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage
252+ Atk Doublade Iron Head vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 246-290 (67.5 - 79.6%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Hitmontop as a Check

When looking for a physical wall, I always first look at Hitmontop. Even though its HP is pretty terrible with base 50, and its defense is pretty average at 95, it is the combination of Intimidate + Mach Punch/CC and the ability to rapid spin that always wants to use this mon.

Hitmontop (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Mach Punch
- Rapid Spin
- Close Combat
- Toxic

I don't think I'll have to explain my choice for Intimidate on a physical wall. Leftovers for a bit of recovery, since Hitmontop lacks a reliable way of recovering health.
The combination of Mach Punch and CC provide priority and a powerful STAB move to retaliate. Rapid Spin is there to get rid of hazards if the opponent switches out, Toxic is there to get consistent damage on your opponent.

Lets do some calcs:

Mega-A vs Hitmontop (Asnow is at -1 because of Intimidate:

-1 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hitmontop: 109-129 (35.8 - 42.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after hail damage and Leftovers recovery

-2 252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Ice Shard vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hitmontop: 28-34 (9.2 - 11.1%) -- possible 9HKO after hail damage and Leftovers recovery

Hitmontop vs Mega-A:

0 Atk Hitmontop Close Combat vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 236-282 (64.8 - 77.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 Atk Hitmontop Mach Punch vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow: 80-96 (21.9 - 26.3%) -- 6% chance to 4HKO

Conclusion:

Hitmontop might not be the best check to Mega-A, but it certainly does the job rather well. In order to get a reliable kill with the combination of CC and Mach Punch, make sure to get either SR or Spikes up. Hitmontop is a Check and not a counter because of what I said above, and because of the fact that if Mega-A gets a crit, it will ignore Intimidate, and dish out a lot of damage.

252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hitmontop on a critical hit: 244-288 (80.2 - 94.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after hail damage and Leftovers recovery

Thank you for reading :]

Checks: Durant (Gary2346) | Mega Steelix (Soulblaster) | Cobalion (FullLifeGames)
Counters: Weezing (Mistress Remilia) | Phys Def Bronzong (Don Honchkrorleone) | Fletchinder (HypnoEmpire)

not entirely happy with the level of activity @_@ I had to make a check (don's bronzong) into a counter because there has only been 2 counter submissions.. and I wouldn't even consider Fletch a counter because it's just too shaky, and if it happens to be mixed abomasnow (i know this project is only about specific sets) then it's just bopped by blizzard, dropped dead.

anyway new victim, and I hope I see more activity this time:

Cobalion @ Leftovers / Lum Berry
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Substitute / Magnet Rise

have fun!
