And with a feeble smile of encouragement, the Elite Four member leaves you to your mission. You go downstairs for some floors, until you find yourself in front of a metallic door. <CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT> is written on it in yellow, bright colours. You take a breath, pull the door and quickly close it behind yourself.

Soundtrack

The first thing you notice are several monitors on the sides. They look eerie and disturbed, with flashy, confused colors showing up and disappearing at random times. You wonder if it has something to do with the jamming effects of the magnetic field Eusine sensed. Anyway, you go on, looking around yourself warily until you are in front of the main computer. But, much to your surprise, you spot something (or maybe someone) working with some wires into the computer itself!
A strange, purple android is apparently messing up with the controls, using strange devices to sneak in. But one step after, the creature notices your presence and flees at blistering speed behind you, walking on the ceiling. At the same time, an odd alarm starts echoing in the room.

ROUND ONE

The raid starts with an onslaught hammering the Beldum with balls of electricity, bursts of heat, and a bite. The Beldum retaliate by ramming into the Houndoom and the Chandelure but the raid does not let up... Well half of it. While Eternal Drifter's Pokémon learn moves from each other, Tortferngatr's Pokémon attack the Beldum and finish off one of the two. The remaining Beldum does not let up and rams into the Houndoom. More like a desparate flail, but whatever.

Regarding Eternal Drifter's question: The damaging effect only takes place when harsh sunlight is in effect. Houndoominite only activates the damage increase effect at any rate.

Anyhow, the Electrode takes a moment to rest as the Mega Houndoom and the Chandelure pick off the remaining Beldum. Before you could celebrate however, the CPU's voice starts to echo again.

A beam then fuses the carcasses of the two Beldum together to form a Metang! Even worse is that two more Beldum spawn from the sides of the computer. Your work is not done yet!

ROUND THREE

With three new foes to take on, the raid hammers the Beldum and the Metang with a fiery assault as the Lucario uses the darkness to strike the Metang. The three were unflinching however and they all recklessly ram into the Houndoom, who started to whimper following such a beating. The raid does not let up however as everyone continued to focus on the Metang with several attacks while the Chandelure's fiery assault damages the Beldum as well. The Metang responds by attacking the Houndoom with a belly flop while the Beldum continue to ram into the Houndoom without much care. The Houndoom—after being on the receiving end of a hammering—is starting to really feel the pain now.

ROUND FOUR

NOTE: I stuffed up a bit last round because Rock Slide was not supposed to be on the slate due to me forgetting about Dynamic Punch which deals enough to punt it off the slate. This was replaced by a Body Slam that did not do anything bad to the raid except one extra damage that means little since it did not paralyse or anything.

Anyhow, the raid gets to work with the Electrode mocking the Metang to get its attention while the Houndoom and Chandelure combined waves of heat to send the Beldum packing. The Lucario then heals the wounded Houndoom as the Metang fires a ball of shadow at the Chandelure for damage. At this point the Electrode charged up electricity while the Houndoom and the Lucario took a break. The Chandelure then blasted the Metang with a ball of shadow of its own but the entire raid was in for a rude shock as the Metang pounded the ground, dealing damage to the whole raid with a powerful tremor!

ROUND SIX

The raid starts to set their focus on the batteries as the Electrode pounds a battery with an electric charge, while the Houndoom fires small flames that benefit the Chandelure and the Chandelure burns the new foe with a ghastly flame. The Metagross is unfazed and attacks the Lucario with a mental assault. The random attack then turned into full fixation a few seconds later as the Lucario healed up the Houndoom. Eternal Drifter's Pokémon continue to pound a battery with the power of Electric-type attacks while the Chandelure lets off a stream of fire at the Metagross. The Metagross continues to pound the Lucario however, whacking it with one of its four legs/arms/whatever while the Lucario sends a heal the Chandelure's way. It seems like the medic is the one drawing the Metagross' ire this time as the burn continues to be painful to it.

Eternal Drifter's Pokémon begin to turn their attention to hammering the battery on the right-hand side while the Chandelure gets the Metagross to turn on it by casting a fiery spell. The Metagross' reaction? We will let the CPU do the talking here:

CALCULATING FORCE PARAMETERS.

The Metagross pounds the ground three times, dealing damage to everyone bar the floating Electrode with shockwaves that slow down everyone hit. Nevertheless the Lucario decides that this is an opportune moment to take a break and it does so. The Electrode then charges up the left battery fully which leaves just one battery to charge. While the Metagross rams into the Chandelure with one powerful thrust, the Houndoom attacks the right battery with an electrical attack. The Chandelure then batters the Metagross with a stream of fire while the Lucario caps off the round by healing it. It seems like the job of charging the batteries is almost done.

ROUND EIGHT

As the Electrode hammered the right hand side battery with another attack, the Metagross delivered a mental assault on the Chandelure. The Houndoom then finished charging up the last of the two batteries while the rest of the raid chilled out. The Electrode—falling to the ground afterwards—insults the Metagross to get its attention, only to be met with a powerful slam that dealt a lot of damage. The Houndoom then took a break while the Chandelure battered the Metagross with a wave of fire. As soon as the Lucario healed up the Chandelure however, the CPU's voice started to echo around the room!

CRITICAL ERROR. POWER DROP. BACKUP SOURCE INITIALISED.

The computer monitor suddenly turns somewhat liquid as a Porygon2 emerges out of it! Looks like you now have this virtual duck to deal with alongside the Metagross.
