That's not how Assurance works.

The user strikes the opponent with a powerful, vindictive strike. If the target has already taken damage since the start of the current action, this move has 12 BAP instead of 6.

And unless Haxorus was trying to hit itself, the only thing to damage Sigilyph turn 3 was Assurance itself.

That being said, Assurance has a BAP of 6, not 4.
