Please send your teams to me through PM so I know you have built them. There will be a round robin tournament until Tuesday. I'm really tired, so I'm not going to post a bracket, ill just expect you guys to play each other's teams. While not necessary, replays are helpful, and quite impact deciding the votes for your team.

Edit: I feel horrible for triple posting lol
Ok, so just quoting this to makes sure people do their battles, as none have appeared to be done yet. My apologies for the shaky and weird scheduling, I'm still working things out and seeing how I want to run this. Apologies if my continuous reminders is annoying and uncalled for, but I want to make sure this version of the project lifts off and stays unlike the last version. Again, my apologies for continuous tagging, I'm not trying to be obnoxious, really.

It's cool, man. Cnorth and me will contact the other teams tomorrow morning.

Reminder that battles must be done at the end of the day. At this point, if you do one battle, you may get the activity win for the tourney anyway -_-. After this, voting also will start on Wednesday, and go to Friday, so teambuilders, be prepared to post your teams and a short description of the team.

Ok, battling is over, with LilOuOn and Cnorth26 being the winners. Every person/group will have 1 vote, with the exception of the winners, which will have 2 together. Once the builders post their teams, and a short description, players may vote, with the winning team being put in the archive. Voting ends Friday.

Ok ill just put the teams up now, and extend voting till Saturday

I'm not sure if I can vote but if I can I would go with Skankovich and Lord of Bays. Teams based on speed control strike a special place in my heart and it's really cool to see a team that utilizes both Tailwind and Trick Room in a way that doesn't seem detrimental. Awesome idea which I'll probably be playing around with in the future. All the teams seem solid on paper as well so it was a tough choice. On the bright side, I have 3 new teams to add my to collection hehe.

I'm also going to second Lord of Bays and Skankovich. Tailwind+Trick Room is a really innovative method of getting your wincons to the places they need to get, and overall the team looks really threatening, especially with that monstrous Tyrantrum (btw idk if i can vote but js)

Wow, Yabo betraying his own core and robin winner smh.

Going for LilOu and Cnorth's Toxicroak + Moltres. The team itself is really solid and does very well vs. the current metagame, which is a huge boost when choosing one of the three teams. The only problem I see with the team is the awful weakness vs. Nidoqueen lmfao, but nothing that can't be solved with good predictions, as Cnorth showed in his battle vs. the Pangoro+Slowking Tailwind Trickroom team that everyone is hyping so much, which is also why I have been hesitant about voting for Skankovich and Lord of Bays team. Sure, it looks like a cool squad, but TR isn't really good in this metagame, and it actually played against its own team when Cnorth's Florges ended up sweeping thanks to it. (I'm not even taking into account the fact that Moltres would have eaten alive Skankovich's entire team if Hurricane wouldn't have missed)

So yeah, good job Lil and Cnorth, I like the team a lot and probably stealing it even though I don't ladder so much anymore.

Nice Lightning Rod Rhyperior, teal6 and Christo The Gr8 :P

I like all three teams. The Moltres/Toxicroak team seems like the most solid, but would need some rejiggering to deal with the Nido weakness. The Doublade/Hydreigon team is solid af with the VoltTurn core of Mowtom and Shao to back it up, but struggles against any strong Special Attackers - in addition to the issue with Drei, I feel like the team will have trouble with Shadow Ball Alakazam and, again, Nidoqueen. Even Pidgeot will wear down Rhyperior quickly with no Wish support, and both Pidgeot and Zam outspeed everything but Shao. The TW/TR team shows the most innovative team building, but seems pretty matchup based.

I guess I'll go on the strength of the replays and vote for LilOuOn and Cnorth, although all three teams look really solid and with a bit of fiddling could find their way into my cache of teams.

Thanks for the votes all! I'm sorry my poor actual-playing skills let us down when it came to the match itself, but I'll explain the teambuilding process me and Lord of Bays went through.

Starting with Slowking and Pangoro, we first went with Whimsicott noting both the synergy defensively with slowking and also its access to tailwind, which allowed multiple ways for pangoro to get the upper-hand on other teams and also provided a clutch answer to out-of-hand sweepers in lieu with Whim's prankster. From there, we added what was initially a Rock Polish Tyrantrum, who could take advantage of flying types like crobat that force out panda and clean up, although we later went with Band because balky mons caused issues.

The rest kind of flowed from there, we had a big fairy weakness and needed rocks, so Nidoqueen was as splashable as ever while also being able to really tear shit up under tailwind, and trick room if facing speedy offence. We then needed a fast mon to check stuff and possibly defog support, so Mega Aero was an easy mon to add, although considering the team doesn't really care that much about rocks and has queen to absorb tspikes, defog might not have been 100% necessary.

I think the team could definitely still use a little tweaking here and there (moltres like, singlehandedly destroyed our team lol) but the core tailwind+trick room combo is difficult for a lot of teams to handle, and prankster tailwind in general is just so so useful and underused on the mons that have access to it (Tailwind Tornadus is a monster).

The 3 teams are really cool. I like the offense team with hydreigon + doublade but I going vote for LilOuOn and Cnorth. The core used is original and looks like to works pretty well and the build is also nice.

Sorry for the delay, I was really tired yesterday :P
Anyways, LilOuOn and Cnorth26 win this round!
