Avion-Skarmory tried setting up immediately upon landing, but NF-Greninja cleverly stuck her incredibly long tongue out in a cheeky Taunt, getting Avion mad at her so the he decided to ram her from the Skies instead, giving her a taste of his Iron Head. Punch-Lucario and Chauffage-Blaziken, on the other hand, played a game of Rise-and-Dig above-and-below-ground, until Chauffage ragequit with a stomp, causing an Earthquake to throw Ninja Frog off balance. This will undoubtedly cause some leaks if she's not careful, so she decides to stop playing games and shield up, throwing up the tatami to Block all attacks while she discusses further strategy with Punch and their Trainer.

With a combined attack, Punch and Ninja Frog thought they had Chauffage out of the fight for good, and turned to focus their attention on Smacking Down Avion. Their attacks merely chipped away at the sturdy Skarmory's exterior, and the Iron Head he gave in return to Ninja Frog hurt a little bit too much. But the real kicker comes in when Chauffage suddenly Dug out of the ground, very much alive and kicking, delivering a blow right at Ninja Frog's face and taking the Greninja out of the fight! Unfortunately after that both of Gem's mons were exhausted, their attacks unable to connect with Punch as the Lucario fired off an Aura Sphere while rapidly backpedaling from the duo, realising that his teammate was the one down in the bout.
