The ORAS UU Tourney! Round 1

It's just a straightforward UU tournament here! This is one of my favorite tiers to play in due to the balance and diversity of the teams, so join up and play!

How to Enter:
Post in this thread with your Friend Code and your In game name(IGN) and I'll add you to the signup list. Signups will last for a week or until a sufficient number of participants have been gathered.
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Pikachus on his or her team.
  • Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing pokémon.
  • Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Battle Timeout: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
  • No Swagger or Moody
  • UU Tier Only: A player can use any Pokemon ranked UU and below. If you need to know a list of UU tier pokemon click here http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/tags/uu (Thank you Shady6121)
  • This is an ORAS only tournament
  • All pokemon will be capped off at lv. 50
  • 6v6 Singles Battle
Note:
  • UU Tier and below only, if your team includes a pokemon above the UU tier you will be disqualified(this includes the mega stones as well).
  • All matches must be completed by the deadline, if not the most active user will move on by default if no substitutes are available.
  • Shooting for around 16 people to join in this tourney, due to sign up activity it might change.
  • The tier of the pokemon will be determined on the date of your battle so make sure to check to see if the pokemon on your team are still in the UU tier.

The battles will follow that progression

Round 1 will officially start tomorrow on 4/16/15 but if you can get them done tonight more power to ya. This round will have a deadline of 4/23/15 11:59PM PST.(Thursday to Thursday)

If you can't get your match done before then just let me know in the thread and we'll figure out an extension etc. Lemme know if you have any problems!

Reply in the thread when you contacted your opponent. Once you play your match, reply with who won with the winner and the video code of the match.

Once round 1 is completed i'll open round two! Sorry for the wait but good luck :D

Okay so there might be two matches that will be forfeits or no show, so i'm gonna ask for an opinion from those still in the tourney(winners) would you like to see subs in those matches instead? It would be people that have already lost in this tourney since I didn't get any sub sign ups. Or I can just default the players into round 2.

Personally I'd like to see subs in. I always get a little upset when I'm given a bye because it throws off my momentum. Plus it seems like everyone that has battled so far has had a really close/intense match, so it would be cool to see the battles that come of it.

Any of those who got knocked out volunteer to sub? Personally i'd like another shot lol but I want to offer it to others first.

I'd rather have some people sub in instead of guys getting a bye
