Well it is time for the knockout stages of LLAMA with only twelve competitors left competing for the tournament victory! In this match, we have two competitors duking it out for the semi finals; Frosty and Canis Majoris! Watch out for Skill Frog on Frosty's side for blatantly obvious reasons; its ability to Protean its way around its counters and whatnot will prove to be a pain in the neck for Canis. Watch out for Gardevoir on Canis' side because Gardevoir, despite a fairly bad matchup against Aggron, has the potential to plough through the rest of Frosty's team without too many issues... Ehh I do not know what I am talking about. Let us just get the show on the road, okay?

BATTLE RULES
3v3 Singles
Enforced 2 Day DQ Time for players, 3 for referees. Each player has one DQ warning a match. Go over once, you will use your warning. Go over twice, you will be DQed. This will be at the discretion of the player or one of the hosts if the player takes too long. Referees going over DQ will probably be sacked and replaced.
Infinite Recoveries/Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
One Mega Evolution
Switch = OK

Items = ON; you do not have to have the item in possession but the item must not be banned, similar to SICK (Banned Items: Soul Dew, Dark Stone, Light Stone, Diancite, Prison Bottle).

Toggled Protean o_o

Well toggling it off did make a difference against Frosty here as the Aegislash took advantage of that mighty bulk to produce a substitute that could not be broken in one hit by the Greninja, using the opportunity to prevent the Greninja's escape from battle and using a slashing attack which dealt a lot of damage despite being fairly weak.

The Greninja appears to be in front at the moment and has the second order advantage, but then again, Frosty toggled Protean. And Canis has a free switch up his sleeve. Never will someone find ordering first against a Greninja so easy without the ability to change its typing at will. Frosty you better hope you know what you are doing here.

Canis takes advantage of Block to switch to an advantageous matchup, but then Frosty decides he has other ideas, chip damaging the Gardevoir with his Greninja and completely avoiding damage altogether! The Greninja did lose a lot of energy in the process but let us be honest, it is better than taking thirty odd damage a pop from Hyper Voice. A lot better. And of course the Gardevoir would have less HP if the Greninja had Protean on, but something tells me that it is going to matter little as Frosty is almost certainly content with switching the Greninja out.

Oh and to clarify, I have been using Greninja and not Skill Frog because a Greninja with Protean toggled does not deserve to be called a Skill Frog. Though it still has those annoying attributes.

Ehhh a fairly bad round for Canis all in all this round, basically baiting out an Earthquake through Double Team clones with his Gardevoir against the mega evolved Aggron so the Gardevoir could encore it then burn the Aggron... Well the Aggron would be burned but when floor consists of pixie dust and other enchanted crap and the Aggron is on the ground, burning it was always going to be a futile task. So Canis basically baited Earthquake out and did absolutely nothing but concede HP. Things are becoming ever more rocky for Canis now, but at least he can switch out.

Not a really exciting round overall as the Aegislash fortified herself physically while the Aggron set up "Sneaky Pebbles" on Canis' side. The two did trade a blow but the crumbler ball did outdamage the Earthquake despite being in Blade Forme albeit because of Reflect. Ehhh what else can I say? NEXT.
