Charizard wins!

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
Evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Roost

Suggestion phase #3 starts now. Good luck! Consult the OP for rules and guidelines.

Aside from the pokemon I have selected it was either Keldeo or defog+healing wish Lati and I have a strong suspicion that whatever gets selected this round will be followed by exactly that Lati, but we'll see.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Calm Mind

We all know what this is, especially those who have played gen 3.

1. This gives us a f/w/g core
2. Scald
3. Win con
4. Cool as fuck
5. Sleep absorb (and other statuses)

Starmie @ Life Orb
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 SpA
Ability: Analytic
Timid Nature
-Hydro Pump
-Psyshock
-Rapid Spin
-Ice Beam

Now that we have a Charizard, we absolutely need hazards off the field. Starmie also provides nice offensive presence and forms an FWG Core. Also breaks down things like Heatran which are problematic atm

Dr Ciel

Banned deucer.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

Currently, the team is quite weak to common set up sweepers, especially the likes of, Mega Altaria, who can run through both Serperior and Char X with a single boost. Status is also a huge problem to both Serperior and Charizard X, especially Paralysis and Toxic. Unaware Clefable can check the majority of set up sweepers while also providing the team with much needed cleric support. Clefable can also pass huge Wishes if Serperior were to get low on health.

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Earthquake
- Reversal
- Memento
- Stealth Rock

With Serperior and Charizard-X set up to be the main sweepers of the team, that leaves a very gaping weakness to Heatran, who easily walls the two. With such a glaring weakness to Heatran, Dugtrio is an obvious and very beneficial addition to the team. Dugtrio is easily able to trap and eliminate Heatran, paving the way for either Serperior or Charizard to take over the game nearly uninhibited. Dugtrio is also able to provide Stealth Rock support, which any team enjoys having. In cases where Dugtrio would be rather useless, Memento is perfect, as it can guarantee a good opportunity for Charizard-X to switch in and get a free Dragon Dance and easily sweep.

Keldeo @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword

Cool partner for this core, rounding off an FWG core. Keldeo offers an answer to Weavile and Heatran, both huge threats to the core, and can wear down Mega Altaria as well. Also resists Stealth Rock which is a bonus so that the chosen Defogger/Spinner later on isn't too pressured.

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe
Modest Nature
- Tail Glow
- Rain Dance
- Scald
- Ice Beam

While Serperior and Char-X are powerful in their own rights, they are both incredibly susceptible to status from things they cannot immediately break, such as Heatran and Unaware Clefable. Furthermore, it takes a lot of effort and risk to break walls with them, for fear of even more status and being too worn down to continue the sweep. TG + RD Manaphy is a good status absorber that can take care of things like Chansey more efficiently than Serperior, and can nab the 2HKO on Unaware Clefable 70% of the time without SR. It also threatens out virtually every Heatran set (doesn't even get OHKOed by Solarbeam!) and is a far more robust check to Dragons like Latios and M-Altaria than a good majority of offensive Water-types in OU.
