i decided to create a journey towards suspect reqs using NUzlocke teams. Here is my story:
Battle 1:Regice / Marowak / Zebstrika / Sandslash / Mismagius / Primeape
I started out as a young trainer full of reckless abandon. I decided to use "cool" and "innovative" sets like phys def regice and tail whip thrash zebstrika to no avail. I was slaughtered and had to start again
Battle 2:Swanna / Linoone / Lilligant / Electivire / Dusknoir / Prinplup
After seeing this new team, i knew that linoone was the hero my team deserved. Unfortunately I thought it was a good idea to run Memento in a NUzlocke challenge so that ended Dusknoir's run. Linoone lived up to the hype however and finished the game
Battle 3: Linoone /Lilligant / Ditto / Delibird / Rotom-F / Kadabra
It looked like the NU gods were punishing me with this next team. However, ditto was about to achieve a moxie pyroar counter sweep before running into phys def counter ludicolo. After some unfortunate hax i lost lilligant and rotom-f before Linoone was finally able to clean the game.
Battle 4:Linoone / Jumpluff / Magmortar / Pawniard / Lampent / Kangaskhan
Going up against another legitimate team, it once again came down to linoone. unfortunately missing out on a roll cost Linoone the game and once again I had to start over.

This team is actually pretty legit. I went with CB Sneasel, stallbreaker Mismagius, special BP Floatzel, Expert Belt Toxic Electivire (didn't want crazy Wild Charge + Life Orb recoil because I'd like it to stick around), standard Wish/Heal Bell Mega Audino, and Stealth Rock Ferroseed. I outsped my opponent's Tauros with my Mismagius and burned it as he subbed. He then Ice Beamed by Audino and timed out.

Not sure what to make of this. I've got two great Pokemon that can autowin pretty much from Team Preview, especially on low ladder, but then I also have a Ditto, a tremendous Spikes weakness and a slight Stealth Rock weakness, and no hazards/hazard removal of my own. I went with Scarf Ditto, Sub SD Scyther, Choice Band Arbok to lure Grounds and Rocks for Scyther, CM Heal Bell Musharna, Toxic Quagsire, and Thunder Wave/Encore Liepard. The team ends up prevailing in a 6-0 against an unsurprisingly odd team, but at least it functioned pretty much how I intended it to.

Okay, I've done a handful of Smogon challenges and I have a question that has been plaguing me for some time that I just can't find an answer to.
The rules state that "the first Pokemon you catch is the only one of its kind you can catch on that route, no duplicates". But suppose you weren't able to catch a Pokemon on one route, but find the same Pokemon on a different route, can you try catching it again there?
For instance, you kill a Pidgey on Route 1, but find another Pidgey on Route 2. Are you still able to catch it?

I haven't played NU in like literally forever, so this match was a bit of an eye-opener in terms of me remembering things like the fact that Scyther exists. My opponent showed his skill level fairly early on when I made a double from Mawile into Swanna early on expecting his safe switch into Torkoal, but he just decided to Knock Off instead which made decisionmaking easier down the road. Sandslash clutched it at the very end by not missing a Stone Edge, although I'm really sad I had to give up Lickilicky here because it'd be one of the most useful mons available to me for this type of challenge. :_:

hydro miss cost frog but it prevented rocks, granbull died to flame body specs magmortar and didnt really have a switch as malamar was choice scarfed

Faced a very good/ actual NU team, I had scarf malamar which is 100% shut down by quagsire. And shedinja without hazard removal is lol. Couldnt do much.

- Moral of this game - I'm bad. I forgot Klingklang has Clear Body so I expected Sticky Web to keep it at bay, was horribly wrong. Luckily the guy was even worse - he tricked away his Scarf when Scarf Rotom cleans my team easily, and he subbed with both Uxie and Klingklang when he didn't have the speed in order to make the sub first. Forfeit also meant I got to keep a bunch of my mons, which honestly is probably pretty bad considering how weak this team is to a bunch of stuff... Also does Uxie always run max speed on CM? Seems weird to me lol.

- RIP... This guy's AV Magmortar caught me off guard and forced me to sack Zangoose... from there I lost to Leafeon (Didn't realize Quick Attack was a move it normally had, got rekt by that shit lol.) In hindsight I should have went banded Rapidash and LO Raichu, Raichu's coverage is good and running Specs fucked me over. Fun times though, this was a super cool challenge! :)

- Actual team this time lol (outside of Bidoof). Fucking Pinsir, Swellow, and Liepard are scary! Forgot Liepard has U-turn because I'm dumb and haven't played in forever. Ended up winning because of a nice crit burn on Liepard and a Stone Edge miss which let me clean sweep with Zangoose lol. Piloswine was a mainstay on my BW/BW2 teams, Audino is a mainstay on my XY/ORAS teams and Xatu is my favorite Pokemon. It almost feels like the bot is taunting me by giving me a team full of stuff I love. :^)
Fortunately they all made it through. I lost Gurdurr by mispredicting a Jynx and Carbink to SD Pinsir. My opponent forfeited with good timing, as I would have needed to sack against Swellow in order to win.
