It takes nothing from +1 Signal Beam even when roosting and can Taunt it or Whirlwind it and Knock Off does a lot. Confusion is annoying tho.

None of Duosion's moves can 2HKO Stoutland without a boost, and Duosion has to be at +3 to have a 50/50 chance of OHKOing Stoutland, while Stoutland can 2HKO with Return.

Articuno is a hard check

Articuno @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Roost
- Hurricane
- Frost Breath

Thanks to insanely high bulk and an amazing ability in Pressure, Articuno can be considered to be an extremely hard check to CM Duosion. It can set up a Substitute, then proceed to stall it out of Psyshocks and / or Recover if necessary, while Hurricane does hefty damage, having a slight chance to 2HKO.

0 SpA Duosion Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Articuno: 105-124 (32.7 - 38.6%) -- 4.4% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Duosion Signal Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Articuno: 27-32 (8.4 - 9.9%) -- possibly the worst move ever

0 SpA Duosion Hidden Power Fighting vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Articuno: 44-52 (13.7 - 16.1%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Pelipper @ Leftovers

EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Defog

- Scald
- Air Slash / Toxic

Despite having mediocre defensive stats on the Special side of the spectrum, Specially Defensive Pelipper can still act as a hard check to RD Golduck. Pelipper can tank every hit, but in rain, needs to be careful, as it can get 2HKO'd by Hydro Pump after SR. Pelipper can the use Roost in conjunction with Air Slash or Toxic to gradually wear it down.

Ah Walrein. The fat tub of lard outclassed by almost every other Water-type in most situations except for this one. Walrein can take any hit from Golduck (bar Focus Blast but this set doesn't have it), and either phase it or stall it out with a combination of Life Orb damage, Toxic, and Protect.

252+ SpA Life Orb Golduck Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Walrein in Rain: 120-140 (28.3 - 33%) -- 92.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Zweilous @ Eviolite
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD

Zweilous takes little damage from Hydro Pump and is immune to Psyshock. Ice Beam doesn't even 2HKO, while Zweilous is able to retaliate back with Crunch, dealing decent damage, or recover the damage received with Rest. Eventually in the worst case scenario it can rely on Sleep Talk to KO Golduck, or it can phaze it out at the start to also stall Rain turns.

Lickilicky @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Knock Off
- Body Slam

Golduck has a ton of difficulty breaking through Lickilicky. With wish and protect, Lickilicky can also reliably heal off the Hydro Pump damage and also burn rain turns away. Lickilicky can also knock off the Life Orb to take away a good chunk of Golduck's power. Licki can also run Body Slam for some decent damage and also have a decent chance at paralyze. Licki is a hard check due to the boost in Hydro Pump's power...and only if Golduck was using Hydro Pump on the switch.

Golduck ---> Lickilicky

252+ SpA Life Orb Golduck Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Lickilicky: 153-183 (36 - 43.1%) -- 96.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Careful Nature

- Thunder Wave/Body Slam

Golduck has a ton of difficulty breaking through Lickilicky. With Cloud Nine, Golduck can only hope for the 3hko with Hydro Pump. With wish and protect, Lickilicky can also reliably heal off the Hydro Pump damage and also burn rain turns away. Lickilicky can also knock off the Life Orb to take away a good chunk of Golduck's power, and Licki can just run Twave and ruin Golduck's hope for a sweep entirely. Licki can also run Body Slam for some decent damage and also have a decent chance at paralyze. Own Tempo can also tank Golduck just fine, but becomes a hard check due to the boost in Hydro Pump's power...and only if Golduck was using Hydro Pump on the switch.

Golduck ---> Lickilicky

252+ SpA Life Orb Golduck Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Lickilicky: 153-183 (36 - 43.1%) -- 96.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Lapras @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 208 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 44 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump

This thing honestly walls Golduck. Golduck's Hydro Pump can't touch Lapras due to Water Absorb, and Lapras resists ice beam by x4. Psyshock is a joke, it can't even 3HKO it. On the other hand, Freeze-dry coming from Lapras will 2HKO Golduck. This set is probably one of the best, if not the best, switch-in to Golduck.

252+ SpA Lapras Freeze-Dry vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Golduck: 228-270 (75.7 - 89.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Very little reason to have psyshock over focus blast or even HP Electric on this one tbh
HP Electric is probably the best move, but I would take Psyshock over Focus Blast any day. If it's a question of hitting Roselia or Lapras, I would rather hit Roselia.

Specially Defensive Grumpig is an excellent counter to Mr. Mime, thanks to it's extremely high Special Defense. None of Mr. Mime's moves are better than a 5HKO, while Grumpig can simply Toxic and wear it down by using Protect along with Psychic.

252 SpA Mr. Mime Dazzling Gleam vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Grumpig: 75-88 (20.6 - 24.1%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

Everything else is the worst move ever, so yeah.

Mr. Mime can't even 4hko all of the time while Clefairy can paralyze to ruin the scarf, set up rocks, and slowly wear down with Moonblast. The only thing that Mime can do is either switch out or Healing Wish...and with Magic Guard and Softboiled, Clefairy can't be worn down with chip damage. Clefairy is a simple and very reliable counter.

Gogoat can use Mr. Mime as a setup fodder, or directly attack it with Horn Leech taking advantage of its poor defense, dealing decent damage and healing for a part of it.

Metang has solid bulk thanks to Eviolite, and doesn't take much damage from Dazzling Gleam or Psychic. Its part Psychic-typing also gives it a neutrality to Focus Blast. In addition to this, Metang has a strong Meteor Mash to take care of Mr. Mime.

Dusknoir @ Choice Band
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
- Trick / Pursuit
- Shadow Sneak
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch / Thunder Punch

Dusknoir can switch into anything Mr. Mime has for it and threaten Mr. Mime out with a STAB, CB Shadow Sneak that OHKOs after Rocks. The Speed here is simply for Pelipper and Roselia (which determines the elemental punch you're using here), however more bulk and less Speed can easily be used to provide you with a more reliable Mr. Mime check. Pursuit also lets you get enough chip damage on Mr. Mime so that something else on your team can check it, but CB Pursuit is primarily for things like Grumpig and Kadabra that usually switch out of STAB CB Shadow Sneak.
252+ Atk Choice Band Dusknoir Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Filter Mr. Mime: 190-226 (85.9 - 102.2%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
