The most dangerous guy here is, IMO, Gaia the Hippowdon, as it can wall Mowtom's physical attackers and doesn't lose by much vs Exploud. Then again, Sylveon also hits insanely hard and has a good bulk, so...
In the other side of the arena, we have a trainer that has shown that he has what it takes to be a capable battler, so he is not someone you should underestimate. It's Mowtom!
Johto [Granbull] (M)
Type: Fairy
- Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Intimidate / Quick Feet / Rattled (Unlocked)
- When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1). If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents.
- Command: Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.
- This Pokemon feels a sense of anxiety when afflicted with a status condition and its speed increases by 50% (x1.5). Although it can still be fully paralyzed, it will not suffer the Speed drop.
- These Pokemon are more easily frightened by Ghost-, Bug-, and Dark-typed attacks and will raise their Speed by one (1) stage when struck by attacks of those types. If this ability was triggered by an opponent's attack, the natural stage is also adjusted.

From his 6 Pokémon (which are named after the regions they come from, which fits pretty nicely) he has decided to bring Granbull, Exploud and Barbaracle. Of these 3, the one that AOPS might want to watch out for is Hoenn the Exploud, since it is the only one that can deal normal damage vs Hippowdon without getting absolutely wrecked or walled by it.
