While you are resting into your cabins on the ship, some unexpected rumors coming from outside put you on guard. Not long after, you hear a sailor yelling "We're under attack! The Bright Hope is under attack!". As you rush out on the deck, you see Wallace holding off the assault of several enraged Pokemon.
"Good of you to have come!", he says with an alarmed tone. "We're in jeopardy! Several swarms of hostile Pokemon are surrounding the ship! I've never seen anything like...". He doesn't make in time to finish speaking that a frenzied Archeops is upon him. The champion stares in fear as the prehistoric bird is about to strike him, but then, just in time, a blast of blue energy takes out the foe.
"Wallace!", shouts Lorien, running towards the group. "Is everything ok?". As the champion nods, the mysterious man turns his attention on you. "Whoever leaded this assault is not an ordinary Trainer. You must find the head of this charge, and seize it before the enemy overcomes the ship's resistance!".

You nod in agreement and leap beyond the ship, skipping the enemy lines and landing on the shore. As you look around yourselves, though, a voice suddenly calls you.
"You're not going anywhere, New Dawn filth! The Plan must not be interrupted!".
You make just in time to avoid the foe as he pounces upon you. You take one moment to study the strange creature.

"Who are you?", you ask, on your guard. "Are you the one behind this attack?".

ROUND ONE​

The two raiders begin by tapping into the power of their new mega ring gadgets to mega evolve their Pokémon as they get to work supporting through attack strengthening and calling forth the sun and damaging the Syclant. After being hit by a quick strike, the Syclant batters the Stratagem with a flurry of spears before being burned and invested by a flurry of fiery assaults before the Audino twisted the dimensions to remove the speed advantage the adversary had. After that, the raid continues the fiery assault on the Syclant with the Aggron learning a new move. After taking a huge amount of damage, the Syclant gritted its teeth and finding the Emboar as a point of interest thanks to an untimely crit, pounded the ground and left the raid reeling from a powerful tremor! The Charizard, Stratagem, and Eelektross did not mind though as the rocky resistance the Syclant had fades away. Here comes the onslaught...

Not so soon as the Gyarados lets off an intimidating cry and the Totem of Storms casts a nasty de-buff on the Emboar, the Audino dispels the de-buff and nothing has happened. The raid then splits their efforts between dismantling the totem pole and the Gyarados—who could do little more than smacking the Eelektross—eventually scrapping them both before they even felt the ripping of icy debris thanks to the influences of their war dance!

"Useless pieces of shit!" Utters the Syclant as it lowers its shield and detonates the ground below the Aggron, dealing a lot of damage. After the Audino proceeds to repair the damage to the Aggron, the raid goes on a rampage once more, ripping into the Syclant with all their fiery and rocky might! The Syclant takes a beating before letting rip a blast of ki energy at the Aggron, before the effects of the war dancing wear off the raid! Things are going to be a little bit slower now for the raid...

ROUND FOUR​

Finally denied the effects of Bloodlust much to the delight of deadfox081, the Eelektross throws up protective barriers for the raid as the raid continues to go on the offensive. The Syclant takes blow after blow after blow once more before retaliating with a series of pins aimed at the Aggron. The Stratagem also manages to get an Ancient Power stat boost which is worth mentioning because it never happens ever. The Audino then heals up the wounded Aggron as the raid continues to belt the ever-living shit out of the Syclant, the Eelektross even burning it. The Syclant then unleashes a chilling breath which pierces the Aggron's defences before uttering another war cry:

You are going to leave in pieces!

The Syclant shouts as it ravages the Aggron for more damage than it could ever do while those screens are up. After the Stratagem hammers the Syclant with another wave of energy, the Syclant gets serious once more!

Spirits of rage! Come to my aid!

The Syclant conjures up a shield of icy debris and Scrabble Tiles to protect itself as another Gyarados and another strange totem of ice spawn from the sea! Also the twisted dimensions helping the raid expire at this point. Experiencing what it is like to be hit by icy debris and Scrabble Tiles at 100 kph seems all but certain this time around. Not that it will have REALLY serious implications at any rate.

Also I totally did not forget that the Infernape had a Flamethrower Glyph on I swear.

ROUND FIVE​

After the Gyarados lets off an intimidating shriek, the Totem starts by giving the Castform a chilling touch of magical proportions as the Stratagem hammers the Gyarados before the Syclant batters the team with chunks of ice and Scrabble tiles. The raid then gets to work on dismantling the Totem of Storms and the Gyarados—the Stratagem enduring a powerful metallic whack to the face—and setting up the favourable conditions and before they knew it, both adversaries were down! The Syclant was not pleased as it lowers its shield and after taking a hit from the Charizard, launches a ball of ki energy at the Aggron, putting it in a condition as critical as the Syclant itself is in! The round then finishes up with another wave of rocks aimed at the Syclant from the Stratagem. The raid looks primed to finish off the Syclant for good now.

"They're retreating!", shouts Wallace as the enraged Pokemon fall back, deprived of their lead in battle. "We're victorious!".
Lorien reaches you on the shore soon after. "Today has been a sad day", he comments, his red eyes gazing towards the deep jungle beyond. "Pokemon had to find against other Pokemon, like brethen locked into a meaningless strife. But thanks to your brave deeds, we prevented this day from becoming an even more tragic one". The mysterious man steps closer to the fallen Syclant. He doesn't utter a single word for several instants, then shakes his head. "It is not the time to deal with this... not yet. Whatever forces are lined up against us, we cannot fend them off on this forgotten isle. We must discover the cause behind this eerie magnetic aura and put an end to it, or the Bright Hope ship will never be able to sail from these shores!".
After seeing you nodding as well, Lorien heads back to the ship along with you... although he can't help glancing one last time, with a worried look, at the icy bug laying motionless on the sand.
