Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power Fire / Hidden Power Ice / Ancient Power / Rock Slide

A nice solid check to Ampharos-Mega, provided rocks are up. Tangrowth avoids a 2HKO after rocks from both Timid and Modest variants, and 2HKOes with EQ after minimal prior damage. Its effectiveness extends far beyond that, however; it acts as a solid counter to Rotom-W, and a soft check to all variants of weather, as it avoids the 2HKO from all common weather sweepers. The last slot is dependent on team: Hidden Power Fire nabs Scizor on the switch and does around 40% to Ferrothorn, while Hidden Power Ice hits Landorus-T hard. Ancient Power and Rock Slide both nail Talonflame and Charizard-Y, reasonably common switch ins to Tangrowth, hard.

0 Atk Tangrowth Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Ampharos: 138-164 (42.8 - 50.9%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Mold Breaker Mega Ampharos Dragon Pulse vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth: 132-156 (32.6 - 38.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Unfortunately, it still can't switch into the Electric Derg, but it is quite reliable as a check due to Regenerator returning a third of its health each time it switches out, allowing it to stay healthy until it needs to be of use.

Mega Scizor can stomach almost anything Azumarill can throw at it and outspeed it to Roost off the damage until it can safely use Knock Off (unless it uses Aqua Jet, which doesn't hit nearly hard enough):

It only gets hairy when it is locked into Waterfall, but on the plus side the threat of knocking off its Choice Band is still a notable threat that can force it out. Of course it's still fully capable of staying in and taking out Mega Scizor if you do that:

Irresistible (Roserade) @ Black Sludge / Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder / Spikes
- Toxic Spikes / Leaf Storm

Set depends on how you use Roserade really. You've got Black Sludge, which offers a bit more longevity and the defensive power to set up Toxic Spikes and put foes to sleep via Sleep Powder, and Life Orb for that extra "oomph" in power, which works nicely with Spikes and Leaf Storm. Anyway, the point is Roserade is a cool check to Azumarill, as it can switch into any move with impunity, outspeed it on the next turn, and OHKO with Sludge Bomb, or Giga Drain / Leaf Storm if using Life Orb. Choice Band Play Rough does do upward 80% which is annoying, but Roserade switches in much better on Superpower, Waterfall, or Aqua Jet.

Thanks to its double typing, Mega Charizard Y can come on two of Azumarill's moves if no rocks and heal up or OHKO back with solar beam. Otherwise it makes a good check that can almost always OHKO Azumarill or strongly hit with fire blast on an eventual switch-in.

I'm typing on phone so I will be skipping the exact numbers, but off the top of my head, after Intimidate, Play Rough tops out at ~90%, Aqua Jet at ~40% x 2 turns = 80%, so either way Manectric can come in and go to Thunderbolt for the KO. What makes Manectric a check rather than a counter is that it has a small chance of losing of SR are up, but only to Play Rough.

Celebi can switch in and either spam Recover until Azumarill misses a Play Rough, or simply Giga Drain twice to achieve a KO, since Giga Drain will put it out of KO range of a second Play Rough. This will leave it relatively weakened afterwards but it does the job. Not really a counter if Azumarill is carrying Knock Off, but this one is not.

By switching into anything from CB Azumarill bar Superpower, Cofagrigus will momentarily make it change its ability Huge Power into Mummy. If it switches into Azumarill's Superpower, then Cofagrigus has a free turn to lay down some Toxic Spikes, burn the switch-in with Will-O-Wisp or simply deal some damage with Hex (would probably be the best option if both Toxic Spikes layers are set). Cofagrigus can also semi-reliably heal itself with Pain Split or even with Snatch if giving it stallbreaking purposes is prefered for the team's needs.

Tentacruel acts as a check to banded Azumarill while also possessing some useful utility as a rapid spinner. Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roar / Toxic / Thunder Wave
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake

M-Aggron easily eats up Azumarill's STAB moves due to its spectacular physical bulk. Moreover, Azumarill can't 2HKO with Superpower after SR while M-Aggron can OHKO with Heavy Slam after SR and a Def drop from Superpower. Without stat drops, M-Aggron still 2HKOes Azumarill while it isn't 2HKOed in return.
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Mega Aggron: 51-61 (14.8 - 17.7%) -- possible 6HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Mega Aggron: 57-68 (16.5 - 19.7%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Mega Aggron: 102-121 (29.6 - 35.1%) -- 87.5% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Filter Mega Aggron: 153-181 (44.4 - 52.6%) -- 80.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Filter Mega Aggron: 102-121 (29.6 - 35.1%) -- 87.5% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock

0 Atk Mega Aggron Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 208-246 (54.1 - 64%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Mega Aggron Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. -1 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 313-370 (81.5 - 96.3%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Kyurem-B as a Check

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 20 Atk / 252 SpA / 236 Spe
Mild Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Bolt
- Roost

Kyurem-B can switch into Waterfall and Aqua Jet and OHKO back with Fusion Bolt (preferably after SR so you get a guaranteed OHKO). However, it can't switch into Azumarill's other moves as they both OHKO Kyurem-B. Roost is useful for gaining your HP back from Azumarill's powerful moves and LO recoil.
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Kyurem-B: 66-78 (16.8 - 19.9%) -- 22.5% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Kyurem-B: 132-156 (33.7 - 39.8%) -- 32.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Kyurem-B: 530-624 (135.5 - 159.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO (don't switch into that!)
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Kyurem-B: 596-704 (152.4 - 180%) -- guaranteed OHKO (don't switch into that either!)

20 Atk Life Orb Teravolt Kyurem-B Fusion Bolt vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 364-429 (94.7 - 111.7%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO (guaranteed OHKO after SR)

Tangrowth as a Check

Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power Ice

Tangrowth easily tanks Azumarill's water STABs and in a 1 vs 1 situation, it can take a Play Rough before OHKOing with Leaf Storm (again, it would be preferable after SR so you get a guaranteed OHKO).
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tangrowth: 49-58 (12.1 - 14.3%) -- possible 7HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tangrowth: 98-116 (24.2 - 28.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tangrowth: 196-231 (48.5 - 57.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tangrowth: 220-261 (54.4 - 64.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Tangrowth Leaf Storm vs. 172 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 366-432 (95.3 - 112.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO (guaranteed OHKO after SR)

Thanks for reading!

Btw Fire-breather Richard, since I was about to finish typing out Tangrowth just when you submitted it and I realized my submission was different from yours, I hope you won't be mad at me if I keep it. If you want me to take it out, than I'll simply do so. Oh and your last calc is wrong: you used the old spread of 88 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 164 Spe instead of the newer and better 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe, which will result in this calc instead:

0 SpA Tangrowth Leaf Storm vs. 172 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 366-432 (95.3 - 112.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO (guaranteed OHKO after SR)

Aragorn is away for another week, so you all get me posting the victim this week again! I don't think this has been done, confirmed by a quick search of the topic. My bad if it has been done Aragorn the King

Mixed Thundurus

Thundurus @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 76 Atk / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Hidden Power Ice

AM please update topic title when you have the chance.

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 128 SpD / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Stone Edge

Hippos good typing and bulk lets it switch into Thundurus easily and Life Orb + Sand stall it into range of Stone Edge. Its decent special bulk manages to avoid the 2HKO from Thundurus's HP Ice while taking minimal damage from everything else

180 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 128 SpD Hippowdon: 177-208 (42.1 - 49.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Hippowdon Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Thundurus: 214-252 (71.5 - 84.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage

Mega Venusaur: Counter

Pawprints (Venusaur) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fire
- Synthesis

Mega Venusaur, even offensive varients, take pathetic damage from any of Thundurus's attacks thanks to Thick Fat, Knock Off immunity and resistances to its coverage moves. Thundurus's best bet is actually Thunderbolt to hope for para-hax, which, funny enough, does more than Hidden Power Ice, although that only has a chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock damage. Even if Venusaur is not already Mega Evolved and switches into a Hidden Power Ice, it takes around 50%, and proceeds to gain Thick Fat on the next turn and can stall it out with Synthesis. Venusaur OHKOs back with Sludge Bomb after Stealth Rock damage.

180 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Thunderbolt vs. 232 HP / 4 SpD Mega Venusaur: 75-90 (20.8 - 25%) -- 0% chance to 4HKO

76 Atk Life Orb Thundurus Knock Off vs. 232 HP / 0 Def Mega Venusaur: 62-74 (17.2 - 20.6%) -- possible 5HKO

76 Atk Life Orb Thundurus Superpower vs. 232 HP / 0 Def Mega Venusaur: 56-66 (15.5 - 18.3%) -- possible 6HKO

180 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Hidden Power Ice vs. 232 HP / 4 SpD Thick Fat Mega Venusaur: 70-83 (19.4 - 23.1%) -- possible 5HKO

To regular Venusaur:

180 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Hidden Power Ice vs. 232 HP / 4 SpD Venusaur: 159-187 (44.2 - 52%) -- 13.7% chance to 2HKO

252+ SpA Mega Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Thundurus: 207-244 (69.2 - 81.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Reserving Lord Seismitoad. Fuck Quagsire.

Seismitoad as a Counter

Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

Seismitoad is immune to Thundurus's main STAB move, and takes pitiful damage from the rest of its attacks. In retaliation, Seismitoad can use Knock Off, making Thundurus's moves doing even less, or simply wear it down with Scald.

76 Atk Life Orb Thundurus Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 244+ Def Seismitoad: 95-113 (22.9 - 27.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

76 Atk Life Orb Thundurus Superpower vs. 252 HP / 244+ Def Seismitoad: 118-140 (28.5 - 33.8%) -- 98.6% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

180 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Seismitoad: 100-118 (24.1 - 28.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Seismitoad Scald vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Thundurus: 102-120 (34.1 - 40.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
