The Best of 3 Tournament!

introduction

Welcome to the Best of 3 Tournament! Its pretty simple, both players will play 3 games, 1 ORAS OU, 1 ORAS Uber, and 1 ORAS UU. Who ever wins 2 out of the 3 games, moves on! This tournament is meant to show the ability of players in 3 of the main tiers!
Standard Rules​

• Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
• Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing pokémon.
• Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
• OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
• Battle Timeout: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.

Tournament Rules​

• In the three games, all must be ORAS Singles, 1 game must be OU, 1 must be UU, and 1 must be Uber!
• The first battle can be whatever the two players agree on, but after that game, the loser decides what tier will be played next, and if 1-1, the tier not yet played will be played (ex: ORAS OU, ORAS UU, 1-1 so ORAS Uber must be played)
• Any games not finished by the deadline, unless i give your game a extension, will be decided by a coin toss, or given to the player who was more active.
• If you missed sign ups, you may apply to be a sub, but no subs after round 1.

Well, I have to thank Lunar. for hosting this tourney, I've liked it a lot ^^
And also thanks to Lacus Clyne because I've used his Ubers team since round 4 and it has worked incredibly well.

while i most definitely put forth my best effort in this final round, i'm not sure i was the most deserving winner after johning my way through quarters and haxing my way through semis. pokebasket played well, and deserved to take the tournament. congratulations pokebasket!

gotta give shoutouts, its my first time getting to the finals of a tour o_o

Sabella , overall, we supported each other throughout the entire tour and i was sad when we had to face each other. gave me the UU team i was using for pretty much the entire tour lol. always there to test for uu and ou, and kept up a great attitude despite being haxed to all shit in semis. thanks for all the support man!

Freeroamer , despite us arguing very often, you were an immense help in the ubers scene, and im really glad you were always there to help out. thanks for stickin with me

Typhozzz , giving me the UU team i used in semis (and was gonna use in finals), and for being there to test whenever i asked. while we didnt talk often, it was always nice to have a person i could go to for UU

Sae Sae , always there to support me when i asked, and helped me test for UU despite incredibly short notice. thanks!

while i didn't personally interact with you, thank you to Lord Outrage for RMT'ing the ubers team that i stole and used throughout most of the tour, and cosine180 (i'm almost 100% certain this team is yours) for building the mega zam + keldeo balance team i used in finals.

oh right before i forget, bof was certainly helpful when i was stressing out over what team to use. while i eventually did not use any teams i received, the support and options gave me peace of mind before i played. thanks!

Congrats to pokebasket for winning the Best of 3 Tournament V4, definitely a very deserving winning. Also congrats to Croven for making it to the finals over a lot of solid players. There were some awkward moments with activity such as giving two free wins in the quarter finals which I never thought I would have to do but besides that there was a lot more activity than I was expecting this tournament to get since it seemed to have lost its hype very early on. Thank you to everyone for playing and making it a joy as always to host tournaments on here. I think this will probably be the last installment of this tournament since like I said it lost its hype early on, but who knows if people ask for it we will have to see.
