[OVERVIEW]
Mismagius's high Speed stat lets it outspeed a good part of the tier and Speed tie with Scyther. It also has a respectable Special Attack stat, which can be further increased by Nasty Plot. It has a great support movepool that includes Taunt, Will-O-Wisp, Destiny Bond, and Memento. Its Ghost typing along with Levitate makes it somewhat useful defensively, with three immunities to Normal-, Fighting-, and Ground-type moves. However, Mismagius's subpar Defense means it cannot switch into even neutral physical attacks. It is weak to common Dark- and Ghost-type attacks, such as Pursuit, Knock Off, and Shadow Ball. Furthermore, its mediocre offenses mean that it is quite weak without a boost. Also, though it is quite fast, it still is outsped by common faster Pokemon, such as Liepard, Archeops, and Swellow. It also faces competition from Misdreavus as a stallbreaker and spinblocker due to Misdreavus's higher bulk, which often is more useful than Mismagius's higher Speed.

Moves
========
Hex is used as a STAB move, as it hits Pokemon afflicted with status quite hard. However, Shadow Ball can be used over Hex to OHKO Jynx after Stealth Rock damage, though Hex is generally better. Will-O-Wisp complements Hex by doubling its power, aside from halving the foe's Attack and wearing the foe down. Taunt prevents the opponent from statusing Mismagius, setting up entry hazards, or recovering; it synergizes well with Will-O-Wisp, preventing recovery. Pain Split is Mismagius's only reliable form of recovery, being able to heavily damage foes with high HP stats, such as Skuntank and Audino. Thunder Wave can be used over Pain Split to cripple foes, especially Fire-types, such as Magmortar and Pyroar, which are immune to Will-O-Wisp, on the switch in, lowering their Speed. Destiny Bond is a useful option in some situations, allowing Mismagius to KO the foe by sacrificing itself. Memento can be used when Mismagius is of no use or is about to faint in order to make it easier for a teammate to set up.

Set Details
========
176 Speed EVs and a Timid nature let Mismagius outpace positive-natured Pokemon with base 95 Speed, such as Jynx and Haunter. The remaining EVs are put into HP and Defense to allow Mismagius to take hits better. Levitate makes Mismagius immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. A Colbur Berry can be used to make Mismagius a fairly reliable switch-in to Fighting types such as Hariyama and Gurdurr, and it also makes it less vulnerable to Pursuit users, such as Skuntank and Liepard. Leftovers gives Mismagius a form of reliable recovery.

Usage Tips
========
Mismagius can be used early-game to spread burns with Will-O-Wisp or mid-game to hit statused foes hard with Hex. Switch Mismagius into a nonthreatening defensive Pokemon or on an attack it is immune to, such as Weezing and Sawk's Close Combat, respectively. Will-O-Wisp should be used early-game to cripple the opposing team, especially if it lacks Fire-types, as well as to increase the power of Hex. Taunt should be used on defensive Pokemon such as Audino, Musharna, and Quagsire so that they can't recover, boost, or use status moves. Mismagius is an effective spinblocker, so it should be switched in on Rapid Spin users such as Sandslash and Hitmonchan, which are unable to harm Mismagius with their STAB moves, though Mismagius must be wary of their coverage moves. Mismagius can also Taunt Stealth Rock setters that don't really threaten it, such as Crustle.

Team Options
========
Toxic Spikes users, such as Garbodor and Weezing, make for great partners, helping to boost Hex by inflicting status, while Mismagius can spinblock in return. Ground-types, such as Rhydon, Torterra, and Sandslash, can threaten Skuntank, which is extremely threatening to Mismagius. Rhydon can also deal with Fire-types, though it must be wary of common coverage moves, such as Hidden Power Grass. Due to Mismagius's vulnerability to faster offensive Pokemon, such as Archeops, Swellow, and Liepard, Choice Scarf users make for great partners. Choice Scarf Rotom-S is a particularly good teammate, as it can threaten all of the aforementioned Pokemon, and it appreciates Mismagius wearing down the opposing team with Will-O-Wisp and Hex. Hariyama is a useful partner to check Fire-types such as Pyroar and Magmortar, which wall Mismagius, as well as Dark-types such as Shiftry, Pawniard, and Liepard.

Moves
========
Nasty Plot makes Mismagius extremely threatening. Shadow Ball is used as a STAB move due to its reliability. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-types, such as Liepard and Shiftry, super effectively, while also hitting Fighting-types, such as Gurdurr, Poliwrath, and Hitmonchan, hard, as well as Normal-types, which are immune to Shadow Ball. Hidden Power Ground is primarily used for hitting Skuntank for super effective damage, though it can also hit Pyroar super effectively on the switch in. However, Destiny Bond can be used over Hidden Power Ground to KO a foe in a last-ditch situation; it also allows Mismagius to play mind games with Sucker Punch users. Taunt can be used as well to prevent Quagsire, Weezing, Musharna, and Audino from spreading status, boosting, or recovering. Will-O-Wisp has its niche on this set, as it can ease setup, weakening physical attackers.

Set Details
========
252 EVs in Speed and a Timid nature let Mismagius Speed tie with Scyther and other Mismagius, while 252 Special Attack EVs maximize Mismagius's damage output. Levitate gives Mismagius an immunity to Ground-type moves, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes. Colbur Berry gives Mismagius some decent defensive utility, making it less weak to Dark-type moves, such as Knock Off, Sucker Punch, and Pursuit. Life Orb can also be used to heighten Mismagius's damage output, though it wears Mismagius down faster and makes it more vulnerable to Skuntank; therefore, it is best used with Destiny Bond. Hidden Power Ground works best alongside Colbur Berry, as Mismagius can then survive a hit from Skuntank and retaliate with Hidden Power Ground.

Usage Tips
========
Mismagius can act as a wallbreaker mid-game to pick off sufficently weakened foes or weaken bulky special walls for a teammate. Mismagius should use Nasty Plot to clean up mid- or late-game once its checks are KOed or weakened. Mismagius can set up against bulky Pokemon such as Weezing, Prinplup, and Xatu, burned physical attackers and Fighting-types when holding a Colbur Berry, and Choice-locked Sawk. Although it doesn't run defensive investment, Mismagius can still be used as a soft check to Fighting-types, such as Sawk and Hariyama, when holding a Colbur Berry. It should be switched in against Rapid Spin users that don't immediately threaten Mismagius with their STAB moves, such as Hitmonchan and Sandslash. If the goal is keeping entry hazards up, you should play very aggressively against Rapid Spin users, risking Mismagius being KOed; if it is KOed, you should switch in another teammate that can pressure Rapid Spin users.

Team Options
========
This set fits best on offensive hazard stacking teams that need a spinblocker and a win condition, so Spikes setters such as Cacturne and Garbodor make for excellent partners. If using Destiny Bond, having a partner that shares checks with Mismagius can be great, as Mismagius can lure its counters in; Shiftry is a good partner, as it appreciates Mismagius luring in Skuntank and Pyroar, which are some of its most common checks. Strong wallbreakers, such as Choice Band Sawk and Zangoose, make for great partners, as Mismagius can take advantage of the pressure they put on offensive teams and their ability to weaken defensive Pokemon. Klingklang also makes for a good partner, weakening Mega Audino, while Mismagius can handle Fighting- and Ground-types, which Klinklang is weak to. Ground-types such as Rhydon can threaten Pyroar, Magmortar, and Skuntank, which give Mismagius plenty of trouble. Offensive Carracosta is a useful partner, checking most offensive checks to Mismagius, such as Archeops, Scyther, and Swellow, while still preserving momentum. Skuntank also is a great partner, eliminating Choice Scarf Rotom and Haunter and shutting down Audino for Mismagius.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Thunderbolt hits bulky Water-types such as Mantine and generally provides good neutral coverage with Shadow Ball, but Mantine is already hit quite hard; however, it can be useful, as it hits Scyther harder. Substitute can be used alongside Nasty Plot to prevent Toxic and Thunder Wave users from crippling Mismagius. Substitute helps Mismagius deal with Sucker Punch users, but it wastes a slot that can be used for a coverage move or Destiny Bond. Hidden Power Fighting hits Pawniard and Pyroar super effectively, but running it makes Mismagius unable to deal with Skuntank.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Fire-types**: Fire-types, especially Magmortar and Pyroar, threaten Mismagius if it does not carry Hidden Power Ground. Magmortar is able to comfortably switch into any attack Mismagius uses thanks to Assault Vest, while Pyroar is immune to Mismagius's STAB moves; they are immune to Will-O-Wisp as well.

**Faster Physical Attackers**: Due to its abysmal Defense, Mismagius is incredibly susceptible to strong physical wallbreakers such as Swellow, Archeops, and Tauros, which can threaten Mismagius with a STAB Brave Bird, Acrobatics, and Sheer Force Zen Headbutt, respectively. Swellow, in particular, doesn't fear Will-O-Wisp from the stallbreaker set, due to Guts and its immunity to Ghost-type attacks.

**Mega Audino**: Mega Audino counters Nasty Plot Mismagius thanks to its Ghost-type immunity and excellent bulk, though it struggles against Mismagius's stallbreaker set.

**Dark-types**: Although they must be wary against Dazzling Gleam and Will-O-Wisp, Dark-types, such as Shiftry, Liepard, and Skuntank, still trouble Mismagius, even with a Colbur Berry; for example, Shiftry's Sucker Punch and Liepard's Knock Off OHKO Mismagius after Stealth Rock damage. Furthermore, Skuntank is neutral to Dazzling Gleam, and it can trap Mismagius with Pursuit or play mind games with it with Sucker Punch.

I personally think T-wave is good enough to be slashed last slot with Pain Split (which should be the replaced move in my opinion if you were to go for it).

Also where you mentioned Torterra as teammates you should make that clear that Torterra mainly threatens Skunk, not the Fire types that Tort cannot outspeed

[OVERVIEW]

  • Solid speed tier, letting it pass up a good part of the tier and speed tying with Scyther.
  • Respectable special attack, which is further excentuated by its access to nasty plot
  • Great support movepool, including taunt, will-o, destiny bond, or even memento can cripple missys conventional checks, such as skuntank when talking about support movepool no need to be so specific, just say that these moves give it good offensive utility and they allow mismagius to eliminate threats or give setup opportunities to teammates
  • 3 immunities to common attacking types (fighting, normal, ground) create some defensive utility
  • Crappy find a better adjective :s physical bulk means that missy often cannot switch into attacks, even neutral ones
  • Weak to common dark- and ghost-type attacks, such as pursuit, knock off, or shadow ball. colbur helps with the pursuit and koff weakness though. unnecessary
  • Pretty weak without a boost or boosting item.
  • Speed still leaves a lot to be desired, being passed up by the likes of Liepard, Archeops, and Swellow
  • It faces competition from Misdreavus as a stallbreaker and a spinblocker because Misdreavus has a better bulk which is often more useful than the extra Speed Mismagius has.

  • Hex is stab and hits fairly hard against statused opponents
  • Will-O-Wisp complements hex by doubling its power, halves the opponents physical attack, and wears the oppoment down
  • Taunt stops opponents from statusing Mismagius, setting up entry hazards, or even recovering. synergizes well with will-o to wear opponents down
  • Pain Split is missys only semi-reliable form of recovery (lol rest) and can actually take a sizable chunk off of mons with high hp stats, such as skunk or audino
  • Shadow ball can be used over hex to ohko jynx after rocks, but hex is generally going to be better put this sentence after the one about hex
  • Thunder Wave can be used over Pain Split for Speed control and to cripple Fire-types on the switch-in. give examples
  • Destiny Bond is a nice option to get a free KO in some situations. be specific here that dbond sacrifices mismagius in order to take down a foe
  • Memento can be used when Mismagius is useless against the opposing team or it is about fainting in order to help a teammate set up with ease.

  • A Timid nature along with Speed EVs let Mismagius outpace pokemom with base 95 speed and a boosting nature such as Jynx and Haunter.
  • Rest of EVs are given into HP and Defense to take hits better
  • Levitate is super cool cause ground and (toxic) spikes immunity
  • Colbur berry makes mismagius a fairly reliable switch-in to fighting types. It also becomes far less vulnerable to Pursuit particularly from the likes of Skuntank and Liepard. Leftovers gives Mismagius a passive recovery which can be helpful.
  • An offensive spread of 252 spa / 4 spdef / 252+ speed hits way harder and can speed tie with scyther and opposing mismagius
Usage Tips
========

  • Mismagius can be used early game to spread status, or mid-game to hit statused opponents hard with Hex
  • Switch Mismagius into a defensive Pokemon that doesnt threaten it or on an attack its immune to, such as prinplup or sawks close combat
  • Will-O-Wisp should be used to cripple physical attackers such as Sawk. this is a bit too specific, it should just say that throwing out a will-o-wisp early game after getting a free switch in if the opponent doesnt have a fire type is generally the best course of action
  • Taunt defensive mons, such as audino, musharna, or quag or so they cant recover, boost, or status you
  • Mismagius is a pretty good spinblocker, so switch it in on users of rapid spin such as Sandslash or Hitmonchan, that cant really do much to missy with their STAB moves.
  • Mismagius can also taunt certain Stealth Rock setters, such as Crustle, that dont really threaten it

Team Options
========

  • Toxic Spikes setters, such as Garbordor or Weezing, make for the best partners to this set to help status things, helping boost Hex, while Mismagius acts as a spinblocker.
  • Ground-types, such as Rhydon, Torterra, and Sandslash, can threaten Pyroar, Magmortar, or Skuntank, who give Mismagius plenty of trouble see what marilli said, I'm not saying these mons are bad teammates but rhydon isnt a great fire check since pyroar runs hp grass and magmortar runs focus blast or hp grass, and these 3 mons check skunk much more than they do fires; however this set really isnt too bothered by skunk given that you can burn it on the switch if its not lum and take little damage from pursuit
  • Due to this sets vulnerability to faster offensive pokemon, such as Archeops, Swellow or Liepard, a choice scarf pokemon can make for a great partner. Scarf rotom-fan is a particularly good teammate, as it can threaten all of the aforementioned pokemon, and appreciates mismagius wearing down the opposing team with burns and Hex.
  • Hariyama is a cool partner, as it checks Fire-types that hardwall this set, such as Pyroar and Magmortar, while also being a solid check to Dark-types. this is kinda nitpicky but I think this sentence could be simplified down to "av hariyama is a good teammate to check fire and dark types such as (...)"

Checks and Counters
===================

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Due to its abyssmal physical defense, Mismagius is incredibly susceptable to strong physical wallbreakers such as Swellow, Archeops, or Klinklang, who can threaten Mismagius with a STAB Brave Bird, Acrobatics, or Gear Grimd, respectively. Swellow in particular doesn't fear the Will-o Wisp from the Stallbreaker set, due to its ability, Guts, and immunity to Ghost-type attacks.

change this to faster physical attackers because slower ones just get burned, and move the section below fire types
replace klinklang with tauros as it can revenge kill a slightly weakened mismagius

**Fire-types** Fire-types, particularly Magmortar or Pyroar, threaten Mismagius not carrying Hidden Power Ground. Magmortar is able to comfortably switch into any attack Mismagius might go for thanks to its Assault Vest, while Pyroar is immune to Mismagius' STAB Hex or Shadow Ball just say its immune to mismagius's stab moves. They are immune to Will-O-Wisp as well.

**Mega Audino** Mega Audino is a definite stop to Nasty Plot Mismagius thanks to its immunity to Ghost and excellent bulk. However, Mega Audino struggles against Mismagius' Stallbreaker set.

**Dark-types** Although they won't be wanting to switch into Mismagius' Dazzling Gleam or Will-O Wisp, Dark-types, such as Shiftry, Liepard, or Skuntank can still trouble Mismagius, even with a Colbur Berry; for example, Shiftry's Sucker Punch and Liepard's Knock Off OHKO Mismagius after Stealth Rock damage. Skuntank in particular is neutral to Dazzling Gleam, and can trap Mismagius with Pursuit or make it think twice before attacking with the threat of a Sucker Punch.

I don't see why we have to include this EV spread if the offensive spread is on the next set. This set should be solely defensive and if you want to give an alternative EV spread do 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe in order to speed tie with stuff while keeping some bulk.

Nasty Plot helps boost Mismagius' power to really threatening levels. Shadow ball is Mismagius' most reliable form of special STAB move. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-types, such as Liepard and Shiftry, for super-effective damage, with the less-important perk of hitting Fighting-types, such as Poliwrath and Hitmonchan mention Gurdurr here, because hitting it with Gleam is really nice, harder as well. Dazzling Gleam hits neutrally Normal-types that are immune to Shadow Ball. Hidden Power Ground is primarily used for hitting Skuntank for super-effective damage. It can also hit Pyroar on the switch-in. Destiny Bond could be used over Hidden Power Ground for getting off a last-ditch kill allowing Mismagius to play mindgames with Sucker Punch users. Taunt can be used as well to prevent Quagsire, Weezing, Musharna, and Audino from spreading status, boosting, or recovering. If you are mentioning Taunt mention Will-O as well

This set fits best on offensive hazards-stacking teams that need a spinblocker and a win condition, so Spikes setters such as Cacturne or Garbordor make for excellent partners to Mismagius. If using Destiny Bond, having a partner that shares checks with Mismagius can be great, as Mismagius can lure them in. Shiftry is a good partner, as it appreciates Mismagius luring in Skuntank or Pyroar, which are some of its most common offensive checks. Strong wallbreakers, such as Choice band Sawk or Zangoose, make for great partners, as mismagius takes advantage of the pressure they put on offensive teams and with mons like Audino to be weakened. Klinklang sets up against Mega Audino, while Mismagius is immune to Fighting- and Ground-types that Klinklang is weak to. Ground-types such as Rhydon can threaten Pyroar, Magmortar, or Skuntank, which give Mismagius plenty of trouble. Offensive carracosta is a cool partner, checking most offensive checks to Mismagius, such as Archeops, Scyther, or Swellow, while still preserving momentum. Skuntank is a cool partner, eliminating scarf rotom or haunter and shutting down Audino for Mismagius.

Other Options
=============
Thunderbolt hits bulky Water-types such as Mantine and generally provides good neutral coverage with Shadow ball, but you hit Mantine hard enough as it is. It is also nice because it hits Scyther harder. Substitute can be used alongside Nasty Plot to prevent Toxic and Thunder Wave users from crippling Mismagius. Substitute helps play mindgames against Sucker Punch users, but it wastes a slot for a coverage move or Destiny Bond. Mention HP Fighting here, as you hit Pawniard + Pyroar, but you do miss out on Skuntank

Checks and Counters
===================
**Fire-types** Fire-types, particularly Magmortar or Pyroar, threaten Mismagius not carrying Hidden Power Ground. Magmortar is able to comfortably switch into any attack Mismagius might go for thanks to its Assault Vest, while Pyroar is immune to Mismagius' STAB moves. They are immune to Will-O-Wisp as well.

**Faster Physical Attackers**: Due to its abyssmal physical defense, Mismagius is incredibly susceptable to strong physical wallbreakers such as Swellow, Archeops, or Tauros, who can threaten Mismagius with a STAB Brave Bird, Acrobatics, or Sheer Force Zen Headbutt, respectively. Swellow in particular doesn't fear the Will-O-Wisp from the Stallbreaker set, due to its ability, Guts, and immunity to Ghost-type attacks.

**Mega Audino** Mega Audino is a definite stop to Nasty Plot Mismagius thanks to its immunity to Ghost-type and excellent bulk.

Mismagius has a solid speed tier, letting it pass up' high Speed stat lets it outspeed a good part of the tier and speed tyingSpeed tie with Scyther. It also has a respectable Special Attack, which is further excentuated by its access to Nasty Plot stat, while Nasty Plot allows Mismagius to further increase its Special Attack. Its Ghost typing along with Levitate makes it somewhat useful defensively, with three immunities to common attacking types (Fighting, Normal, Ground) create some defensive utility. Its subpar physical bulk means that Mismagius oftenNormal-, Fighting-, and Ground-type moves. However, Mismagius' subpar Defense means it cannot switch into attacks, even neutral onephysical attacks. It is weak to common Dark- and Ghost-type attacks, such as Pursuit, Knock Off, or Shadow Ball. Mismagius is prettyand Shadow Ball. Furthermore, its mediocre offenses mean that it is quite weak without a boost or a boosting item. Its Speed still leaves a lot to be desired, being passed up by the likes of. Also, though it is quite fast, it still is outsped by common faster Pokemon, such as Liepard, Archeops, and Swellow. It also faces competition from Misdreavus as a stallbreaker and a spinblocker because Misdreavus has a better bulk which is oftendue to Misdreavus' higher bulk, which often is more useful than the extra Speed Mismagius has' higher Speed.

[OVERVIEW]
Mismagius's high Speed stat lets it outspeed a good part of the tier and Speed tie with Scyther. It also has a respectable Special Attack stat, which can be further increased by while Nasty Plot allows Mismagius to further increase its Special Attack. It has a great support movepool that which includes Taunt, Will-O-Wisp, Destiny Bond, and Memento.

Moves

Hex is used as a STAB move, (AC) as it hits Pokemon afflicted with status quite hard. However, Shadow Ball can be used over Hex to OHKO Jynx after Stealth Rock damage, though Hex is generally better. Will-O-Wisp complements Hex by doubling its power, aside from while also halving the foe's Attack and wearing the foe down.

Set Details
========
A Colbur Berry can be used to make Mismagius a fairly reliable switch-in to Fighting types such as Hariyama and Gurdurr, and it also makes it while also making it less vulnerable to Pursuit users, such as Skuntank and Liepard. Leftovers gives Mismagius a form of reliable recovery.

Usage Tips
========
Mismagius can be used early-game to spread burns with Will-O-Wisp or mid-game to hit statused foes opponents hard with Hex. Switch Mismagius into a nonthreatening defensive Pokemon or on an attack it is immune to, such as Weezing and Sawk's Close Combat, respectively. Will-O-Wisp should be used early-game to cripple the opposing team, especially if it lacks Fire-types, as well as to increase also increasing the power of Hex. Taunt should be used on defensive Pokemon such as Audino, Musharna, and Quagsire, (RC) so that they can't recover, boost, or use status moves.

========
Toxic Spikes users, such as Garbodor and Weezing, (AC) make for great partners, helping to boost Hex by inflicting status, while Mismagius can spinblock in return. Choice Scarf Rotom-FanS is a particularly good teammate, as it can threaten all of the aforementioned Pokemon, and it appreciates Mismagius wearing down the opposing team with Will-O-Wisp and Hex. Hariyama is a useful partner to check Fire-types such as Pyroar and Magmortar, which wall Mismagius, as well as Dark-types such as Shiftry, Pawniard, and Liepard.

Moves

Nasty Plot makes Mismagius extremely threatening. Shadow Ball is used as a STAB move due to its reliability. Dazzling Gleam hits Dark-types, such as Liepard and Shiftry, super effectively, while also hitting Fighting-types, such as Gurdurr, Poliwrath, and Hitmonchan, hard, as well as Normal-types, which are immune to Shadow Ball. Hidden Power Ground is primarily used for hitting Skuntank for super effective damage, though it can also hit Pyroar super effectively on the switch in. However, Destiny Bond can be used over Hidden Power Ground to KO a foe in a last-ditch situation; it also allows, while also allowing Mismagius to play mind games with Sucker Punch users. Taunt can be used as well to prevent Quagsire, Weezing, Musharna, and Audino from spreading status, boosting, or recovering. Will-O-Wisp has its niche on this set, as it can ease setup, weakening physical attackers.

Set Details
========
Life Orb can also be used to heighten Mismagius's damage output, though it wears Mismagius down faster and makes it more vulnerable to Skuntank; as such, therefore, it is best used with Destiny Bond. Hidden Power Ground works best alongside Colbur Berry, as Mismagius can then survive a hit from Skuntank and retaliate with Hidden Power Ground.

Usage Tips
========
Mismagius can act as a wallbreaker mid-game to pick off sufficently weakened foes or weaken bulky special walls for a teammate. Mismagius should use Nasty Plot to clean up mid- or late-game once its checks are KOed or weakened. Mismagius can set up against bulky Pokemon such as Weezing, Prinplup, and Xatu, while burned physical attackers and Fighting-types when holding a Colbur Berry, and as well as Choice-locked Sawk can also be used as setup fodder. Although it lacks the defenses of the stallbreaker set (you wanna avoid referencing the other set, so if you can make this more general that would be good. "although it doesn't run defensive investment" or something maybe), Mismagius can still be used as a soft check to Fighting-types, such as Sawk and Hariyama, when holding a Colbur Berry. It should be switched in against Rapid Spin users that don't immediately threaten Mismagius with their STAB moves, such as Hitmonchan and Sandslash. If the goal is keeping entry hazards up, you should play very aggressively against Rapid Spin users, risking Mismagius being KOed; if it is KOed, one you should switch in another teammate that which can pressure Rapid Spin users.

Team Options
========

Other Options
=============
Substitute helps Mismagius deal with Sucker Punch users, but it wastes a slot that which can be used for a coverage move or Destiny Bond. Hidden Power Fighting hits Pawniard and Pyroar super effectively, but running it makes Mismagius unable to deal with Skuntank.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Fire-types**: (colon) Fire-types, especially Magmortar and Pyroar, threaten Mismagius if it does not carry Hidden Power Ground.

**Mega Audino**: (colon) Mega Audino counters Nasty Plot Mismagius thanks to its Ghost-type immunity and excellent bulk, though it struggles against Mismagius's stallbreaker set.

**Dark-types**: (colon) Although they must be wary against Dazzling Gleam and Will-O-Wisp, Dark-types, such as Shiftry, Liepard, and Skuntank, still trouble Mismagius, even with a Colbur Berry; for example, Shiftry's Sucker Punch and Liepard's Knock Off OHKO Mismagius after Stealth Rock damage. Furthermore, Skuntank is neutral to Dazzling Gleam, and it can trap Mismagius with Pursuit or play mind games with it with Sucker Punch.
