Note - this set is another support set, so it'll be up to the rest of QC to decide whether to merge this into the current support set, replace it or keep it as a new set.

[SET]
name: Stealth Rock
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Judgment
move 3: Toxic
move 4: Recover
item: Pixie Plate
ability: Multitype
nature: Bold
evs: 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
- SR because Fairyceus is very reliable at setting it up
- Judgment to roflstomp Mega Sableye, and it also checks Mega Salamence, Lati@s and other Dragons
- Toxic is so you're not completely Primal Groudon bait, while keeping pressure on the Defoggers are invariably used with Magic Bouncers
- Recover for recovery

Set Details
========
- Fairyceus beats most Pokemon used for hazard support apart from the Rapid Spinners which can usually can be dealt with through traditional Spin-blocking - this thing piles on all sorts of pressure onto those Mega Sab + Waterceus cores
- Handily beats Mega Sab, beats Mega Diancie unless it's something random like CM
- Beats most Defog users apart from like rare things like Skarm or Steel/Poisonceus (Lati@s, Mega Mence and Gira-O you have type advantage and other Defog Arceuses you can pressure with Toxic)
- Still checks everything Fairyceus normally checks - Ygod, Darkrai, Latis, Mega Mence, Gira, Ray, Palk

Usage Tips
========
- EVs let you outspeed Adamant Rayquaza, rest in Defense to best check Mega Mence
- Isn't much to say when using this, really - set up SR and check threats
- Fairyceus is pretty hazard bait itself, unfortunately, so make sure you give less chances for Spikers to come in by double switching to things that threaten them
- Make sure you play carefully if you see S-tag on the opponents team - double switch often to your Pursuit user
- Set up SR as often as possible, Toxic their Defog user. You can even Toxic Ho-oh and tank SF/BB if you really need to

Team Options
========
- Your own hazard control for when Klefki and shit switch into Fairyceus for free - Gira-O, Latios and Mega Mence synergise well with Fairyceus as they can switch into P Donner, while Fairyceus can switch into Dark (in case of Gira) and Dragon moves; Excadrill is also good because it works well with TTar, a good teammate for Arc-Fairy
- Spinblocking for Excadrill/Forre - Gira-O is basically your only option here (or Gengar), fortunately Gira-O fits well anyway.
- Pursuit is very important or you'd just get Fairyceus raped by Mega Gengars - Tyranitar does this very well since it can check Ho-oh and Pursuit Mega Gengar in the same slot
- Ho-oh, Dialga and P Groudon are both good deterrents for a lot of Spikers that switch into Fairyceus
- As mentioned already, TTar is a good switch-in for Ho-oh. P Ogre is not bad either

why would I use this over sr pdon on balance?

you just create massive opportunity cost issues by not using sr pdon on balance/forfeiting a better arceus forme for synergy purposes.

but on the other hand, this is maybe better than whatever else this mon has rn.

They check totally different things? Donner doesn't really check Mega Mence or Ygod or whatever Fairyceus checks. On the hazard side of things, Groudon would have to run other stuff like D-tail or D-claw (forfeiting Lava Plume) for stuff like Defog Latias, Mega Mence and Gira-O while Fairyceus walls them. You can use SR P Don, or you can free up your P Don slot for something different. You really can't compare P Donner to Fairyceus. They're not "better" or "worse" than each other, they're just different.

u can't compare fairyceus to donner pound for pound, but he's comparing the utility of using an sr arceus forme with a very shitty vulernable typing opposed to using just sr pdon and a better arc forme.

what steels would u use with this anyway.. ferrothorn.. ? just stacking shitmons..

qc rejected 1/3, i can't justify this on a real team. having a supposedly good matchup vs Sableye+Arceus-Water sounds nice until you realize primal groudon does that just by running swords dance + stealth rock on the same set, and primal groudon is far easier to fit on teams, pressures every defogger, magic bouncer, and spinner, and doesn't use an arceus slot. it's a bad set for the reason every other support arceus is a bad SR setter; there are better stealth rock setters out there (like primal groudon), the move uses up a slot that support arceus needs to have (in this case, fairyceus would like to fit a move that actually does literally anything against klefki or ho-oh), and you can't use support arceus as the defogger which is awful for role compression.

not to mention it still has all the problems fairyceus already does; it's essentially just a waste of a slot versus teams with mega gengar, it's perpetually forced out by some of the most common 'mons in the tier, it's quite hard to fit a secondary xerneas check alongside it, and it doesnt even check much reliably. Did we let support fairyceus pass through QC initially? I think we should remove that set from the analysis.

Sorry shrang, I tried to make this work; it doesn't though without being a huge liability.

Forgot about this mon. I discussed it with Sweep on IRC and we kinda came to the conclusion that while Arceus-Fairy needs a few edits, a SR set might not be the best way to go for it. Arceus-Fairy has a better chance at viability with its CM set imo. I think we should remove the support set and add this set to the current OO analysis as a mention...is this possible Fireburn?
