Reserving misdreavus

Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Timid Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
- Taunt
- Pain Split

Taunt cripples both and stops them from setting hazards and recovering (in Roselia's case). Will-o-Wisp cripples Piloswine (and hurts Roselia, although it can switch out with Natural Cure). Burning the opponent allows Hex to become a 120 base power move, and with the combination of burn damage, hex, and no recovery/physical attack being 1/2 as strong, it can shut down and dispose of both.

Clefairy please.

Clefairy @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Soft-Boiled
- Moonblast
- Stored Power / Thunder Wave

CM Clefairy is an excellent partner for the posted core for numerous reasons. Clefairy provides a secondary Fighting resist, a sturdy Dark resist and gives Bulky Offense teams a consistent win condition.

Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Shadow Ball/Hex
- Nasty Plot/Pain Split/Memento

It sure would be a shame if all of those hazards were spun away. Misdreavus is here to spinblock and also support the core by burning things will Will-O-Wisp and Taunting things like Duosion that can set up on the core. The rest of the set can be customized based on what the rest of the team looks like, but I would consider the Willo and Taunt to be pretty paramount. This core doesn't really enjoy taking strong physical hits since Piloswine has no recovery so Willo helps there, and Taunt is handy for the above reason and can be used to prevent your opponent's hazards and so much more. Good addition, but does make your team weak to Knock Off. Also as a final note: if you run Tspikes on Roselia, Misdreavus can run Hex and get the boost from the Tspikes...which is a pretty entertaining synergy to have.

Pelipper @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Scald
- Roost
- Air Slash

Pelipper should fit in just fine with this core for a number of reasons. Pelipper acts as a Fire and Fighting resist which both appreciate, can Defog hazards on its side away if need be as Piloswine and Roselia are bulky enough to set up hazards again if need be, can handle non Thunder Punch variants of Machoke very well, plus acts as a Knock Off absorber for both while having reliable recovery in Roost to heal any damage taken.

Nice, next core:

Stoutland @ Choice Band
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Superpower
- Facade
- Pursuit

Mightyena @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Crunch
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Iron Tail

Due to Moxie and strong priority in Sucker Punch, Mightyena is a very threatening sweeper. However, it lacks the raw power to break through some of PU's more sturdy walls. That's where Stoutland comes in. With its standard Choice Band set, Stoutland does a very good job at softening or straigt up defeating bulky Pokemon that Mightyena fails to break through. Stoutland does struggle with some bulky Pokemon as well, however, but Mightyena defeats the most popular Stoutland checks for it, such as Solrock and Metang.

You have three days to post threats to the core.

Floatzel. Fuck Simipour man.

Floatzel @ Choice Specs
Ability: Water Veil
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Electric
- Focus Blast

Thanks to an insanely high Speed tier and access to some high base powered moves, Floatzel is a solid threat to this core. Focus Blast can OHKO both members of this core with relative ease.

Reserving Machoke

Machoke @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Def / 20 SpD / 60 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Thunder Punch

Machoke is a check to both. Machoke cannot reliably switch into Mightyena or Stoutland, since banded Return from Stoutland and Play Rough from Mightyena both do a large amount. However it can force both out by threatening them with STAB Close Combat.

Monferno @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- Mach Punch
- Thunder Punch / U-turn

Monferno isn't switching in on Stoutland anytime soon, but does outspeed it and OHKO with Close Combat. It can also take a Play Rough + Sucker Punch from Mightyena and also OHKO with Close Combat.

Tangela @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power Fire

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Tangela: 108-127 (32.3 - 38%) -- 95.6% chance to 3HKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Mightyena Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Tangela: 66-78 (19.7 - 23.3%) -- possible 5HKO
0 SpA Tangela Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mightyena: 121-144 (43 - 51.2%) -- 5.9% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Tangela Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Stoutland: 88-105 (28.2 - 33.7%) -- 0.2% chance to 3HKO

Tangela's massive bulk combined with Eviolite make it a good switch in to this core. Tangela is able to wear down both Mightyena and Stoutland with Sleep Powder and Leech Seed, and switch out to take advantage of Regenerator.

Vigoroth @ Eviolite
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 HP / 244 SpD / 12 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Return
- Slack Off
- Taunt

Counters Mightyena and checks Stoutland

Vigoroth out speeds yena by 1 point and can proceed to set-up on it with Bulk Up and heal off any damage with Slack Off.

252+ Atk Life Orb Mightyena Crunch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Vigoroth: 117-138 (32.1 - 37.9%)

Stoutland can take on Vigoroth easily in a one on one situation but if Vigoroth managed to pull off even 1 bulk up before stoutland comes in it no longer can do that.

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Vigoroth: 308-364 (84.6 - 100%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. +1 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Vigoroth: 206-244 (56.5 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. +1 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Vigoroth: 136-162 (37.3 - 44.5%)

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. +2 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Vigoroth: 102-122 (28 - 33.5%)

As you can see by the calcs Vigoroth must slack off to be 100% safe because if Superpower gets max damage then it will kill even with the defense boost after that however Vigoroth can continue to set-up

Klang @ Eviolite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD
Impish Nature
- Shift Gear
- Gear Grind
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Klang can't switch into Superpower, but otherwise it can tank with ease every other attack both Stoutland and Mightyena can throw at him. Klang can then set up on Mightyena or a Stoutland locked to a move that isn't Superpower, creating serious trouble to the core and the team in general. Klang is also able to recover damage up with Rest without the risk of being weakened too much while sleeping, unless being hit by Superpower.

Relicanth @ Leftovers
Ability: Rock Head / Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 Spe
Impish Nature
- Head Smash / Stone Edge
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Waterfall / Protect

Coming straight from 2xTheTap's post in the underrated sets thread, Relicanth can check both Mightyena and Stoutland and is able to 2HKO both of the two. It can also constantly use Protect to gain health from Leftovers, keeping at a relatively high amount of health.

252+ Atk Life Orb Mightyena Crunch vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Relicanth: 87-105 (21.5 - 26%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Relicanth: 234-276 (58 - 68.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Return vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Relicanth: 74-87 (18.3 - 21.5%) -- possible 7HKO after Leftovers recovery

reserving simipour
((sorry this took like 3 days was swamped w school))

Simipour @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Knock Off

Simipour can demolish common checks to Mightyena and Stoutland, including Probopass (in Mightyena's case), Stunfisk, Tangela (dies to Ice beam 87.5% of the time after rocks), Solrock (in Stoutland's case), and Piloswine. It is a very strong special attacker which synergizes very well with Stoutland and Mightyena, two physical attackers. Knock Off on this set allows for Simipour to weaken any eviolite 'mons that give it (or Stoutland/Mightyena) trouble.

Mr. Mime @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Filter
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Focus Blast
- Healing Wish

Mr. Mime provides the core with a strong Fighting-type resist, and overall a Pokemon to take on Fighting-types, which the core struggles with. Both Stoutland and Mightyena also get weakened pretty quickly, and Mr. Mime is able to fully revive either of the two with Healing Wish.

Taking Leavanny.

Leavanny @ Focus Sash
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Sticky Web
- Leaf Storm
- Knock Off
- Magic Coat

Due to the core lacking in the Speed department, Sticky Web support is needed. Leavanny is the fastest user of the move in the tier, and therefore is an excellent choice. Leavanny can also do some early game damage with Leaf Storm, cripple item-reliant Pokemon with Knock Off and reflect back hazards with Magic Coat.

Thanks for your contributions, time for the next core:

Vigoroth @ Eviolite
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 HP / 244 SpD / 12 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Return
- Slack Off
- Taunt

Jumpluff
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sleep Powder
- Seed Bomb
- Acrobatics
- Memento / Swords Dance / U-turn

Specially defensive Vigoroth can come in on most of Jumpluff's Checks and Counters, including the ever present Zebstrika, Taunt, and proceed to Bulk Up. Similarly, Avalugg and Piloswine are Taunted and setup on, as Avalugg can't do anything but a 3HKO with Avalanche before Bulk UP, and Piloswine's best bet is to pray for Skill Link. Basically, anything with high special attack (and lacking Focus Blast) that hits Jumpluff super effectively can be used as setup fodder for Vigoroth, whereas Jumpluff handles the fighting types like Machoke who attempt to switch in on Vigoroth.

You have three days to post threats to the core.

Simisear @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast

Fire blast 2hko's vigoroth after rocks and obviously Jumpluff can't switch in, although it can if they get the focus blast prediction right. If Vigoroth tries to LO stall you, you can nasty plot and then OHKO it with focus blast or KO with fire blast after just a little chip. Jumpluff can revenge this if it's a little weakened and come in on focus though (or sleep and 2hko if you're not Dundies)

252 SpA Life Orb Simisear Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Eviolite Vigoroth: 148-175 (40.6 - 48%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Simisear Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Eviolite Vigoroth: 216-255 (59.3 - 70%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Hypno.

Hypno @ Leftovers
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss

Hypn can wear down Vigoroth with Seismic Toss, and can pop off a Toxic on a predicted Slack Off or Bulk Up, so long as it doesn't get Taunted beforehand. The combination of Seismic Toss, Protect, and Toxic damage will bring Vigoroth down after a few turns. Hypno is also immune to Jumpluff's Sleep Powder thanks to Insomnia, and can bring it down with again, the combination of Seismic Toss, Protect, and Toxic damage.

Electabuzz @ Eviolite
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Ice

Electabuzz completely counters Jumpluff with its access to Vital Spirit, high bulk, and coverage from Hidden Power Ice to KO it. On the other hand, Electabuzz can hit Vigoroth hard with Focus Blast, having a chance to 2HKO it.

252 Atk Jumpluff Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Electabuzz: 54-65 (19.8 - 23.8%) -- possible 5HKO

252 Atk Jumpluff Seed Bomb vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Electabuzz: 81-96 (29.7 - 35.2%) -- 16.5% chance to 3HKO

252 SpA Electabuzz Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Jumpluff: 224-264 (76.9 - 90.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Gourgeist can switch in on Vigoroth (unless it clicks Taunt) and once Gourg is in Vig has to click Taunt to prevent getting wisped which allows you to easily click Magic Coat, limiting Vigoroth to Return. Gourgeist-Super has no problem taking on Jumpluff as Acrobatics fails to 2hko after rocks and leftovers recovery, while you fire back with a Foul Play, wisp or heal up.

252 Atk Jumpluff Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Gourgeist-Super: 134-158 (35.9 - 42.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD

Klang is a threat to this core due to the fact that it can come in on Jumpluff and take eithe Acrobatics or Seed Bomb with ease and can act as a sleep absorber thanks to Sleep Talk. While Vigoroth can't do much back to Klang, it can possibly win 1v1 against it due to it having Taunt and access to recovery in Slack Off, making it able to possibly PP stall Klang out of Gear Grinds if Vigoroth has accumulated enough Bulk Up boosts, so keep this in mind.
