I'll sneak in some flavor here later because I'm always a slut for flavor

Well, it seems we have a near-mirror match. Both trainers have opted for a Fairy/Psychic/Water setup, with a good deal of bulk as well. No SE STABs to be seen anywhere, which, combined with the aforementioned all-around fatness (Espeon is the only mon under 110/3/3) promise to make this one a slow match. I'd recommend making every order count, for when tavok inevitably has to make a decision on this one after the 45-day mark.

Anyways, both contestants lead with their respective Fairies, a matchup where I'd normally give the edge to ww's Sylveon. Except for that brain fart.

Still, both mons are fat enough (and Florges' movepool is shitty enough) that Texas can't really stretch his lead as far as he would like. Sure, being down 30HP (50HP if you count the benches) is never an ideal position to be in, but ww is definitely within striking distance. He just needs to make sure he plays near-flawless from this point on.

Well, I'll be honest. I'm not really sure what Texas was trying to accomplish with that first sub.

Aided by consecutive crits (the latter of which made a difference of 7HP by virtue of bypassing two defense boosts), waterwarrior is very much back in this one, and in position to net himself the first KO of the match. Goes to show that Pixilate Skull Bash can go a very, very long way.
