Like, can someone fucking explain to me why people think Martavis Bryant is the second coming of Christ this week holy fucking shit.

Because he came in last season and was dropping like 2 TDs per game? I dunno, I think it's odd for this much hype to surround a #2 WR, but Pittsburgh has already shown many times that they want to take lots of deep shots with Bryant as well as red zone looks. He had a 94 yard TD last season and an 88 yard TD this past week. His YPC last season was also 21.1 which is absurdly high, especially for a rookie. OBJ only averaged 14.3 YPC, to compare.

This might be why everyone is so high on him?

#1 in fantasy points per snap last year too

Yeah, well let me know when fantasy scoring is on a per-snap basis. I keep seeing people across the interwebs saying retarded shit like starting him over Maclin and other such solid WR2-level producing guys like he's elite. His TD last week was fluky as balls too, just straight up horrible tackling by the Cards. He didn't juke anybody out of their shoes or plow through them, didn't have great blocking. They just oddly swirled around him and watched him waltz into the endzone.

Chasing points if I ever saw it.

yes, i am chasing the hell out of points, as i already stated.

in my .5ppr league, what would be a fair offer for Freeman?

He had obscenely high efficiency per snap and target in 2014, and in his first game back saw a way higher snap count than he had in any game last season and a very productive day to show for it, even with a 3rd string QB and against a top tier CB. There is plenty of reason to board the hype train on him, especially because Wheaton has been terrible as the #2 and Ben will be back next week. Starting him over established guys, eh, I'd only do that if I was against a team much better than mine and needed a miracle play.

Deschain there really is no fair trade for Freeman at this point. Either he continues at the pace he is on and finishes the season as one of the best fantasy players in recent history, or he falls back to earth and you've already overpaid for him. It really just depends on how much you are willing to risk on him. Treating him like a top 5 RB (I'd rank him even with Forte, AP, Lynch, below Bell rn) is about what his trade value will be, unless that owner is stubborn.

You have one of the best scenarios possible for getting him though, because you have Gronk and another top TE in Eifert. Gronk + a WR/RB4 might be enough to convince him, but that is a lot to give up for one guy.

thanks for the input. you're probably right, and i also doubt he would part with him for anything less than Gronk+Ivory or something dumb like that.

what would be a fair offer for Palmer?

Matthews and Hill might get it done, he desperately needs the depth more than he does Palmer so you could sell him on the possibility that he turns it around. With benches that deep it's not like there's an abundance of QBs for you to stream either. Although, why do you want Palmer when you have Dalton?

BYE week.

i'm not very keen on trading, especially for QBs, especially to fill a hole for one week, but i'm playing the only other 5-1 team this week and desperately want the win.

i think i'll offer him Matthews for Palmer straight up and see what happens.

EDIT: ugh. i think i'm overthinking this and just need to make the smarter season-long move which is to ride Fitz this week. because i do NOT want Palmer sitting on my bench, and trading Matthews for a 1 week plug that i'd have to try and trade again just seems not smart.

god the Jets better not fuck this up for me. T_T

your team is ridiculiously stacked. hill, ivory, lamar miller, woodhead, CJ2K? you don't need freeman. your receivers are solid. and you have eifert AND gronk? dalton, broncos d as well?

are you playing in a 6 man league?

10 man league.

i'm just good at drafting for value not hype, and riding the wire wave.

Broncos/Dalton/Eifert/Hill are all on BYE this week.

QB/D are the only positions i'm worried about at all.

Put up 199.88 points in league B with Mike Evans on my bench. That'll help the for and against!

Fuck: Mike Tolbert / Cam Newton

give the fucking ball to Stewart guy is rushing for like 10 ypc and has 0 goal line carries to show for it smh.

I know it's frustrating af, but all the signs were pointing to Stew not getting goal line looks. I mean, Cam and Tolbert getting those touches has been the recurring theme even long before DeAngelo Williams left

he got them last week in seattle and flourished there's no reason he shouldn't be getting them other than "they just don't feel like it".

ur telling me, the Saints played Khiry Robinson and CJ Spiller almost exclusively for the first 1.5 quarters, then Ingram came on the field and went 14/143 :@

It's more because Cam Newton is an arrogant shit and wants all the TDs to himself. Besides, why would you run JStew there when you have a bowling ball with legs like Tolbert? Tolbert and Newton are both physically better suited to goal line carries, even with JStew's good size and strength.

thank you based Miller.

thank you based Woodhead.

also starting Martavis/Christine instead of Robinson/West lost me my standard match but i deserve that.

You should have jumped off that CMike train when they said midweek he was still their #3 RB. The hype is unreal; I saved my top waiver spot and someone else dropped Ronnie Hillman for Micheal, so I got a free starting RB for just a little patience.

There's a team in my league that just lost Foster, so his RBs are Frank Gore and Ryan Mathews, who just got hurt. He has Wilson and Big Ben as his QBs. Would it be trade rape if I offered him Hilton, J-Stew, and Eli for Ben and Julio Jones? Stewart and Hilton are more than fair for Julio, and because Ben was hurt his value is kinda muddy so I think it's a balanced enough trade, given that his only trading piece is Julio and he's already sent me a couple 3 for 3 trades.

Tolbert is an inch shorter and a few pounds heavier than JStew, they're basically built the same. Cam is signfiicantly taller, of course, which isn't actually a good thing as far as rushing the ball is concerned.

Cam's a douche and the coaching staff is dumdums.

  • If they played every team every week, Green Eggs & Graham would be 67-10.
lol how am I 4-3

My own fault for not picking up Ladarius Green as insurance this week. I thought I'd be able to pick him up during the early games but apparently late players go onto waivers at that point too :(
