#1 in fantasy points per snap last year tooBecause he came in last season and was dropping like 2 TDs per game? I dunno, I think it's odd for this much hype to surround a #2 WR, but Pittsburgh has already shown many times that they want to take lots of deep shots with Bryant as well as red zone looks. He had a 94 yard TD last season and an 88 yard TD this past week. His YPC last season was also 21.1 which is absurdly high, especially for a rookie. OBJ only averaged 14.3 YPC, to compare.
This might be why everyone is so high on him?
thanks for the input. you're probably right, and i also doubt he would part with him for anything less than Gronk+Ivory or something dumb like that.Deschain there really is no fair trade for Freeman at this point. Either he continues at the pace he is on and finishes the season as one of the best fantasy players in recent history, or he falls back to earth and you've already overpaid for him. It really just depends on how much you are willing to risk on him. Treating him like a top 5 RB (I'd rank him even with Forte, AP, Lynch, below Bell rn) is about what his trade value will be, unless that owner is stubborn.
You have one of the best scenarios possible for getting him though, because you have Gronk and another top TE in Eifert. Gronk + a WR/RB4 might be enough to convince him, but that is a lot to give up for one guy.
BYE week.Matthews and Hill might get it done, he desperately needs the depth more than he does Palmer so you could sell him on the possibility that he turns it around. With benches that deep it's not like there's an abundance of QBs for you to stream either. Although, why do you want Palmer when you have Dalton?
your team is ridiculiously stacked. hill, ivory, lamar miller, woodhead, CJ2K? you don't need freeman. your receivers are solid. and you have eifert AND gronk? dalton, broncos d as well?BYE week.
i'm not very keen on trading, especially for QBs, especially to fill a hole for one week, but i'm playing the only other 5-1 team this week and desperately want the win.
i think i'll offer him Matthews for Palmer straight up and see what happens.
EDIT: ugh. i think i'm overthinking this and just need to make the smarter season-long move which is to ride Fitz this week. because i do NOT want Palmer sitting on my bench, and trading Matthews for a 1 week plug that i'd have to try and trade again just seems not smart.
god the Jets better not fuck this up for me. T_T
10 man league.your team is ridiculiously stacked. hill, ivory, lamar miller, woodhead, CJ2K? you don't need freeman. your receivers are solid. and you have eifert AND gronk? dalton, broncos d as well?
are you playing in a 6 man league?
You should have jumped off that CMike train when they said midweek he was still their #3 RB. The hype is unreal; I saved my top waiver spot and someone else dropped Ronnie Hillman for Micheal, so I got a free starting RB for just a little patience.thank you based Miller.
thank you based Woodhead.
also starting Martavis/Christine instead of Robinson/West lost me my standard match but i deserve that.
