Bluwing wins (I did /pick)! Also, in future try to not to make teams too similar to others (2/3 mons is alright, but 4+ is pushing it)

This team actually has a variation with Electrode over Mr. Mime (both are cool) and is quite unstandard but solid Hyper Offense. SD Monferno is a decent breaker against balanced teams and while its Mach Punch is weak as shit it can help vs weak Zebstrika / Raichu and all that as well as rkill Mightyena quite easily. Mr Mime is Choice Scarf Healing wish since i feel like that's the most effective set considering LO is pretty much 100% outdone by Life Orb Kadabra. Healing Wish can heal up SD Monferno as well. Murkrow is honestly amazing since it has a strong as shit Brave Bird and Sucker Punch (Raichu and Zebstrika DIE after Stealth Rock thats some Kecleon level shit) and Thunder Wave or HP Grass will mess their Relicanth / Golem / anything faster up badly. Golem Spdef is a cool Stealth Rock setter that can check Electrics well take some hits and still hit hard since Earthquake is really good in this tier except if they have Tangela or Vibrava i swear. Specs Floatzel can clean up and break shit while also checking Vigoroth etc with Switcheroo. Roselia resists water, is strong and spikes sleep powder is annoying and broken.

This team is pretty much geared toward allowing LO SD Monferno to sweep. You have Metang setting up SR and using Pursuit on annoying Psychics that can stop a Monferno sweep (Grumpig, Mr. Mime, Kadabra namely), and it has enough Speed to EQ on Probopass. Metang can also be customized to beat Machoke by running Zen Headbutt over Earthquake, but I found that to be unnecessary with Mime on the same team. Keeping Metang healthy for Flying and Normal spam is important, but its main job will be to trap Psychic-types for Monferno here.

Raichu is using a custom set to beat Grumpig; as SpDef Grumpig comes in to wall Raichu's Focus Blast / HP Ice as it normally does, you can bait it and severely weaken it with Knock Off. Raichu lures in Roselia as well, and after it has lost its Eviolite, it becomes much easier to deal with as you're using Floatzel.

Floatzel is here both for its nice Speed tier, and for its ability to Baton Pass out to Monferno as your opponent sends in its bulky Grass to counter Floatzel. Doing so allows Monferno to set up SD and force Roselia out (or whatever Grass-type the opponent sent in to beat Floatzel) reliably. If your opponent's answer to Floatzel is Politoed, then Floatzel can Baton Pass out to Roselia in order to set up Spikes, which will eventually weaken your opponent's team to the point that Monferno can clean up late-game.

Finally, Soundproof Mr. Mime is here to revive Monferno via Healing Wish, hit opposing Roselia hard with Psyshock so that Floatzel can be more effective, and to provide your team with a counter to Modest Scarf Chatot. Description is much shorter this time, but hope you enjoy the team!

So this is a balanced team geared toward either a Pawniard or Simipour sweep. Starting with SD Pawniard and Yache Berry Exeggutor to surprise Floatzel and Simipour, AV Bouffalant was added as a good switch in to special attacks. Facade is run so it isn't completely helpless if its burned. SubNP Simipour provides a backup wincon and a solid all around special attacker once it has setup. Stunfisk provides an Electric immunity, a switchin to physical attackers such as Monferno, and a reliable Stealth Rocker. Lastly, Rotom-Frost provides the team with a revenge killer and a solid Electric + Ice coverage.

Lol, are you guys okay? Inactivity in this thread may be a sign that our meta is horrible to try and build with right now, but I'll at least make an attempt at doing so anyway.

With the week's (month's) candidate being Altaria, I thought about running Altaria a few different ways and ultimately decided on Bulky DD Altaria on Toxic Spikes. Roosting and setting up with Dragon Dance (or using Slack Off with Bulk Up on Vigoroth) as Toxic damage whittles away your opponent's counters creates an enormous amount of offensive pressure, so I decided to run with that idea and build with DD Altaria + standard Sub Vig + TSpikes Roselia.

Altaria has enough Speed here to outspeed Floatzel and Zebstrika at +1, and with a Yache Berry, you're able to setup in their faces and OHKO Zebstrika with a +1 EQ, or Floatzel with a +1 Dragon Claw after some Poison / SR damage / LO recoil if applicable. Roselia is running an offensive spread with Hidden Power Fighting here, which is really key in checking offensive threats to this team such as Exeggutor and Pawniard. With Vigoroth appreciating Probopass being removed prior to setup, I thought it better to use EQ on Altaria over Substitute, as it is able to bring Probopass in by threatening the other team with its Dragon STAB, and then KOing afterward via EQ. Vigoroth is protected from status by both Roselia's and Altaria's Natural Cure, as well as its own Substitute. Having a grounded Poison-type in Roselia also absorbs opposing Toxic Spikes, which is nice for keeping both Vigoroth and Grumpig happy as they setup with BU / CM, respectively. Vigoroth is using Frustration over Body Slam here, as it is assumed Toxic Spikes will be down, making the extra power from Frustration more desirable than the extra chance for paralysis via Body Slam.

At this point in the teambuilding process with Roselia + Altaria + Vigoroth, I was looking weak to Ice (more specifically, threats like Rotom-F, Articuno, Regice, and even things lower on the VR like Glaceon / Vanilluxe), so Grumpig was an easy choice for the team. With a few of the members looking susceptible to Monferno (Vigoroth and Roselia namely), Grumpig was ran offensively in order to outspeed Adamant 252 Spe Monferno to KO with Psychic before Grumpig is pivoted on with U-Turn. If Grumpig fails, Altaria is also there as a reliable answer to Monferno to keep Roselia and Vigoroth safe. CM Grumpig is also able to pressure Ghosts with CM + Shadow Ball, which once removed, let Vigoroth setup and sweep. Grumpig works similarly when faced with other Fighting types such as Machoke.

Given that I needed a switch-in for Ground-types like Golem, Stealth Rock, and something to catch normal spam from the likes of Bouffalant and Stoutland, I chose Solrock here. Solrock on Toxic Spikes is an advantageous choice, given it can simply Morning Sun as Toxic damage via Tspikes takes hold. It also gives the team another answer to Rapidash and Arbok outside of Grumpig, which are important threats to consider as they often threaten out Roselia. Solrock can run a Passho Berry here, but I've found Rocky Helmet to be more useful overall.

Finally, with the team looking really slow in DD Altaria + Roselia + Vigoroth + Grumpig + Solrock, I needed a cleaner (preferably something scarfed) with the ability to pressure common defoggers out of removing Toxic Spikes, and an Electric immunity all in one slot; Modest Scarf Raichu fit all of these criteria well. It is ran with just +1 more Speed than Sawsbuck, which should explain its EV spread, and it outspeeds most scarfers outside of options like Simipour / Floatzel / Dodrio. To accommodate for these threats, Timid can be run, but Modest Raichu can do things like 2HKO Mr. Mime with Thunderbolt (which definitely comes into play on this team), whereas Timid feels a bit weaker overall.

Just a disclaimer: if you're going to test this, it creates really long battles. Have had a few 100 turn+ battles already, so if you're looking to earn reqs quickly, this is not the team to use lol.

The team focus is basic. Altaria spams draco meteor and fire blast/eq deal with Dragon's resistances. Grumpig walls Ice mons and Stunfisk counters pawn, mightyena and provides rocks. Rapidash enters on it because it is a offensive Ice resist who gives a trouble to HO, by outspeeding and killing a decent part of the mons. Quill is my counter to physical water types, ground types in general and also provides spikes, which causes a secondary damage to grounded mons. Wood Hammer is my option over Seed Bomb because it always OHKOES Floatzel. My last mon was Rotom-F due it Pseudo-Immunity to ground type and for checking pawn/bulk grass types

Ok i tried being different from the above builds and went with a weird stall team built around Encore + Calm Mind Clefairy. Altaria has a weird set so that it can check what it needs to (fire types and grass types) + lure and damage Probopass and Metang to help the Clefairy Sweep. It is also a nice wincon against some last mon boosters and Perish Song is always so neat. The rest of the team is there to beat things stall boring etc

So I went with the Mono attacking Sub DD set as I like the Bulk aided with recovery and help with Status and Possibility to abuse move misses. I chose Dragon Claw over Outrage as this is ment to build up speed and power over time so I felt it would be counter productive to lock myself in without being able to Roost or set up more Subs also after all the work to getting it set up you wouldn't want it to get hit confusion. I gave it enough speed to out speed base 101's after one turn of Dragon Dance, the reason being because if you give it enough to out speed base 116's (Zebstrika) it losses out on a whole bunch of Bulk So Fraxure would be the better choice here, if you lose out on all the bulk.

Probo is a good choice here as it sets Rocks, acts a early Golem Check if need be, pivots, Checks Fairy types and TRAPS STEEL TYPES.
104 speed is a lot, I have it that high on here to show how much I creep but basically the goal is to have enough speed to out run other Probopass in a pinch. You are going to have to play Probopass very well as it is a vital member of you team and you have to use it for multiple roles. Healing wish Mime would help but I'll go over why I opted for Arbok.

Standard Arbok Here. It is switchable with Mime as Healing wish goes well with the Supporters of the team. I chose Arbok as it is a good check to Fairy and grass types such as Tangela. I also like Itimidate as it can help in the set up of Altaria. It is also a good Sucker Punch User as this team is rather slow and it appreciates the priority. It also is a decent check to Machoke so i just felt this added in the breakdown of teams better while also abusing Intimidate if need be.

So I jumped back in forth between Politoed and Floatzel a lot as this team is slow, but i need a water resist. I found Megazard (s) set and the rest is history. This is still a great water check, and often gets a surprise kill. Just a Mon that adds both a a much needed water check, and needed speed.

Banded Leafeon is a great addition to this team as it does a great job against Golem, another wise troublesome Mon to the team. it does a good job luring in Mons such as Tangela and knocking off it's Eviolite. it does great against Stunfisk and also adds another water resist that does good against locked watter moves from the likes of choiced Floatzel and scarfed Simipour.

Haha who doesn't like using Trapinch? so My little ant friend here is another trapper that helps in eliminating Zebstrika, Raichu, other steel types that Probo misses out on, Stunfisk(Altaria Sets up on Stunfisk but it may set up on something else, why risk the para if you don't have to) takes a chunk out of Mime, ect. Just a fun and great addition to the team. I like Superpower over Toxic myself, but toxic is a viable option on it.
