1. Hi! Who are you and could you give a little introduction of yourself?
Howdy dowdy, I'm TGMD and I'm a New Zealand Pokemon player n_n
2. Where did your username come from and why did you stick with it?
I originally went by the name Doom on various sites, but soon realised it was far too common of a name to use everywhere so I had to think of some way of extending it. As a result, I decided to go by the name The Great Mighty Doom as a reference to a video game called Conker's Bad Fur Day. However, as I matured, I realised just how ridiculously immature and unnecessarily lengthy than name looked so I decided to go by the acronym TGMD and have stuck with it ever since.
3. When did you start playing competitive Pokémon, when did you start playing competitive Doubles, and why did you stick around?
I started playing Pokemon competitively over Wi-Fi about six years ago during the DPP era, playing OU and frequenting an Internet Relay Chat by the name of Purplesurge, but didn't really know what I was doing and soon grew tired of it and began having Wi-Fi troubles so I stopped. About four and a half years ago, I started up again with BW, only to find Wi-Fi was basically dead, outside of VGC anyway, and everyone used a simulator called Pokemon Online. I began playing BW OU on there, learning new things everyday, and soon tried out for Oceania's World Cup of Pokemon team. I managed to make the starting line up of the team and enjoyed every minute of it, learning a lot from some of the world's best players, such as Earthworm, Heist, Panamaxis etc. and I grew a lot as a player in the process. Unfortunately, we were knocked out in the Quarter-finals, but I was thankful for the amazing experience and continued playing the game I had a new-found grasp on.
When XY came around, however, a lot of the players I looked up to had lost motivation and gave up on Pokemon, and I had really stopped enjoying OU myself as well. I continued on, gradually growing tiresome, and almost gave up on Pokemon completely. But then I started playing Doubles. I was intrigued by it upon viewing various Smogon Premier League matches in the tier, and suddenly, Pokemon was actually interesting again. I was passionate about it and enjoyed cultivating my ability in a style of play that was new to me. The first Doubles team I ever built, the infamous Bunny Rampage, ended up being a smash hit and the best team I had ever built in any tier, which only made my enjoyment sky rocket even further. I still played OU, but my focus was on Doubles, and I stopped playing OU completely when ORAS came around. I picked up OU again eventually, so as to prepare for the World Cup of Pokemon, but the only reason I'm still playing is because of the wonderful and exciting tier that is Doubles n_n
4. What is your favourite playstyle to use in Doubles, and why?
I don't really have a favourite playstyle I guess, but obviously more offensive teams are generally much more effective in the Doubles environment, so I tend to stick with those. I've been experimenting with semi-TR recently, mostly because my joke Clawitzer + Zapdos team is somehow undefeated (like 5-0) in official forum tournaments. But I would not consider that, or any other particular playstyle, to be my favourite. I tend to favour teams that are enjoyable to use, and that is about it.
5. What is your favourite Pokémon to use competitively and why? What is your favourite Pokémon overall and why?
Competitively, I'd have to say Azumarill. It is simply the most threatening any Pokemon can be after a single turn of set up, which I think I have more than proved in Doubles. In addition, its versatility and dependability in OU is spectacular. My favourite Pokemon overall, however, would have to be Stoutland. It is a dog. It is pretty awful this generation, but I remember having a lot of good times with it back in BW OU. Houndoom is up there too, especially considering it is kind of my mascot, and a rather fitting one at that, on YouTube. Unfortunately for Houndoom, it is not quite as much of a dog as Stoutland is :[
6. Do you believe there is anything broken or suspect worthy in the current metagame?
The current Doubles metagame is completely stable and there's simply nothing that can, on its own, be too difficult to handle.

7. With both Seasonals and Open both deep underway, who do you think are the favourites to win?
KyleCole and Stratos are the clear favourites to win Seasonals in my opinion. I, myself, am not out yet, but I don't think I'll be holding out much longer if I'm being honest. Open, on the other hand, is a tougher choice. There are three very competent players remaining, and I, among many others, could see any one of them emerging victorious.
8. Could you give us a team that resembles your playstyle and could you give us a brief explanation of it?

Bunny Rampage is the easiest to use team you will ever come across. If you're on the ladder, simply lead Mew + Azumarill and Fake Out + Belly Drum then probably Transform + Protect and you win. If you're up against a competent opponent, play hopscotch or something until you can get the combination of Azumarill and Mew/Amoonguss in and you win :]
9. If you could change anything about Doubles, what would it be and why?
Nothing n_n
10. What is your favourite part about the Doubles community, and why?
My primary group of Doubles friends, known as the Hentai Crew for some reason. They're my favourite people to hang out with online and we've had a lot absolutely hilarious Skype calls, sometimes going on for 3+ hours... Doubles is definitely my favourite community on Smogon n_n
11. Are there any other hobbies you have outside of playing Pokémon?
I watch a lot of TV shows and some movies, generally sticking with critically acclaimed dramas and anime. I'm watching various currently-airing shows at the moment, including Homeland, Fargo, One Punch Man, 7 Days, Heroes Reborn, RWBY, and Haikyuu. I'm also a huge rugby fan, New Zealand just won the Rugby World Cup so I've been super stoked about that. Finally, I have a YouTube channel that I upload various Pokemon-related content to, and I very much enjoy doing so.

Hey I'm shrop, your local bigot in the Doubles OU community. I'm 18 and in currently in college and have been in the Doubles community for the past year or so. I haven't been too active as of late because of school and other nonsense but I still like stopping by and saying hey to my friends.
2. Where did your username come from and why have you stuck with it?
The name shrop stems off of my last name. I chose "shrop05" because it's the online username my older brother used for the longest time and I've always looked up to him so I just kind of went with it.
3. When did you start playing competitive Pokémon, when did you start playing competitive Doubles, and why did you stick around?
I started playing competitive pokemon a little over a year ago when my friend finally showed me smogon doubles. I got really into it and made a lot of friends that I'm still really close with. I stayed in the community mainly because of the hentai crew which is basically a group of the biggest fuckwads in the community. We've had some of the dumbest Skype calls you can imagine but it's what keeps me coming back. Also <3mizu<3
4. What is your favourite playstyle to use in Doubles, and why?
My favorite playstyle is just balanced good stuffs. Nothing too fancy but I think it's what gives me the best chance to win every single match.
5. What is your favourite Pokémon to use competitively and why? What is your favourite Pokémon overall and why?
My favorite pokemon to use competitively is Kangaskhan because good. My favorite pokemon, however, would most likely be keldeo. I think it looks really cool and I love everything about water so it kind of fits me I guess lol

7. Do you believe there is anything broken or suspect worthy in the current metagame?
Nah not really the meta is pretty balanced IMO. Kangaskhan is always annoying but I don't think it's suspect worthy.
8. With both Seasonals and Open both underway, who do you think are the favourites to win?
I think everyone that's left is very competent except for KyleCole. Because of this, KyleCole is my favorite to win.
9. Could you give us a team that resembles your playstyle and could you give us a brief explanation of it?
I'm an advocate of using Stratos™ teams only because they fit my playstyle so well (use good shit and hope for the best). I'm a fan of his Kanga/Heatran/Lando-t/Latios/Amoong/Thundurus team but I don't have the team anymore because my computer is a fucking piece of Haruno but I'm sure he will share it.
10. If you could change anything about Doubles, what would it be and why?
Honestly I don't think I would change anything besides ousting Haruno from the tier entirely. I think most people agree that it's the best ORAS tier there is.
11. What is your favourite part about the Doubles community, and why?
My favorite part is definitely Mizuhime (pls marry me).
12. Are there any other hobbies you have outside of playing Pokémon?
Hobbies? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that Pokemon.
13. Is there anything else you would like to say or speak about?
When I was about 13 or 14, I jizzed on a pizza by mistake while masturbating in its direction, with my parents and siblings upstairs. I just masturbated in the kitchen then suddenly I had to cum. I tried to make it to the bathroom so I could jizz on the mirror or something, but then I fell dickfirst into the pizza box, and came all over it.
