Also ugh Mime can die in all the fires. All of them. More simple orders because fuck all that noise."

Talk about swings and round-a-bouts. Every time someone orders second I find myself saying that they have stolen momentum. However for zarator this one might be the pivotal round. Justifying how much dogfish (and everyone else) hates Mimes zarator is able to use a clever combination of Fake Out and Imprison to make it out of the round virtually scott free. In fact things went so well for him that Mr. Mime actually had a spare action that would have been some use if a KO sub was present. Now the intrepid Leader is forced to send back out a Cyclohm I'm very certain he would have preferred stay on the bench for the remainder of this one as zarator looks to press this advantage once and for all.

Well at least Nimbus is able to get in one semi useful move before going down to a barrage of bright light from the Mime. Dogfish on the other hand at least found one surefire way to remove that annoying little man, and overkilled it to the joy of many onlookers. Once all is said and done for round 6 however this match is still amazingly too close to call. I am astounded that I literally keep changing my pick after every round but once again I find myself doing so. Stalker might have the HP advantage, and that defence drop is going to be pivotal. But he's going to have to chill at least once before doing anything of use and that might just be the opening Dogfish needs.

Re-iterating from VM that my calcs have Electivire at 26 HP since Psychic's BAP is 11 - but EN should be the same, since although Bide would cost more, Ion Deluge should provide a STAB EN reduction on the Bide, I believe?

"Infernal cat. I think we're entering the final stages.... I bloody hope my calcs were right ._."

That does it. This has to be hands down the most interesting battle I've ever had the pleasure of refereeing. I gave zarator no chance from the start. With largely sub optimal item choices (at least on his first pair) and coming in with what quite conservatively turned into a 55 HP difference (just imaging if Lanturn had come out) but he has come out with in the end a nailbiting victory. This team of which not one member resisted not only Electric but also Dogfish's pet alternate STAB in light rain boosted water has given hope to all spectators of this nigh on impregnable Electric Gym. Granted, it helps when you can bring 4 ASB heavyweights all with maximum movepools but never the less it is a great triumph for zarator and a fine way to bring up his 5th badge. Mind you it also might be able to serve as proof as to just how overwhelmingly powerful ordering second in 3 action doubles is.

Meanwhile, in the events of the actual round Dogfish saw no conceivable way of overcoming that HP lead outright so instead looked to take full advantage of Kitsunoh's dwindling energy. Unfortunately that Defence drop from last round proved absolutely crucial as zarator was able to finely craft just enough damage for the KO (crit not withstanding) and earn himself the victory. Of course it helps when you have access to some broken damaging evasive move which breaks protects, but lets not draw away from the point. Congratulations zarator!

"Yes, this would have definitely been easier on my new arena, since I could've thrown in an A3 Shock Wave after a Bulldoze ~ Earthquake without worrying about Role Play, meaning in turn I wouldn't have needed subs for Double Team, Role Play, Imprison, P/E... eh, this is my loss for not weaving in a D/E sub to Dig. GG, and I hope that the badge brings you good luck in the future. Or, if it brings you bad luck, I hope it at very least ensures it's captured on film."

"Now, I believe we need to open up the good wine. I believe we've got a lovely chardonnay in..."
