"Choose 10 of the coolest/best fusions from all those submitted so far, and post them below this post. To quote this thread's predessecor: "Due to a few concerns, please try to focus on the competitive merits before any "wish fulfillment" and silly fusion submissions. Pretend you have to draw from these Pokemon to battle on the simulator. Do you want a fusion because it's funny or because it will help you win?"

Down with 7 turn battles, vote balance! (seriously though if you all keep voting for only Hyper Offence mons this tier is not going to be any fun to play)
I disagree with this quite strongly. There are quite a number of defensive mons that people can run to counter-act the offensive titans of this meta, including, but not limited to: Aggrosaur, Vaporine, Hitachi, Moltie, Bastioking, Fablesteel, Leafadon, Dianbro, Blisskiss and Cofagreelix, the latter of which can almost never be killed by contact moves. So that's quite a wall. And on top of new defensive Pokemon, you can still use the entirety of OU's defensive meta as well, which is quite expansive. Also, hyper offence metas can still be fun, as people try and figure out which Pokemon can blow holes in the opposing team before their opponent can, and we have enough of a variety in HO mons to support this. And even if this weren't the case, if certain mon(s) are too centralizing, we can just ban them (you know, like we did with Mega Beegon, something that I am painfully aware of). Anyway, we should discuss this more in the discussion phase, I just wanted to through this out there.

When you see them at first it's a little hard to see many of those things holding up against all the insane offensive stats of many of the other fusions, though I will admit that after some thought they are much better than I gave them credit for. Thanks for that.

There are a few more I would have liked to vote for but the Abilities are just straight up overpowered (Malamar/Lapras, Zapdos/Exeggutor, just two examples). It's getting a bit out of hand recently.

Voting is over, so it's time to announce the winners

DNA Donors: Snorlax and Hoopa
Offspring Name: Snoopa
New Typing: Ghost/Normal
New Stats: 130/129/70/110/120/50 (+10 HP +19 Atk +8 Def +3 SpA )
New Ability and Desc: [Magician + Thick Fat]= Magic Fat: Immune to Fire and Ice type moves as long as it holds an item.
Notable Moves: Return, Double-Edge, Shadow Ball, Crunch, Pursuit, Rest, Sleep Talk, Gunk Shot, Elemental Punches, Earthquake, Zen Headbutt, Superpower, Thunderbolt, Self-Destruct
Role Description: A superb Bear Genie!! Ghost/Normal is a stellar defensive typing with 3 natural immunities. Its defensive capabilities have been boosted thurther by its ability that grants it 2 more immunities to Fire and Ice, common attacking types. Having a sole weakness to Dark is a blessing and a curse, as Knock Off not only hits it on its weaker defence, but also deactivates its ability. But its powerful Double-Edge, and massive coverage options augmented by its stellar defensive typing and ability, makes it an excellent pick for any team.

Parents: Slowking/Empoleon
Shared Egg Group: Water 1
Offspring Name: Empoleking
New base stats: 99/90/94/115/115/65
New typing: Water/Steel
New ability and desc: Torrent Tempo: If this Pokemon is confused, it snaps out of that confusion and gains a 50% boost to its Water-moves (these boosts do not stack, so a bit like Flash Fire)
Notable Moves: Slack Off, Scald, Hydro Pump, Stealth Rock, Flash Cannon, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Toxic, Disable, Substitute, Magic Coat, Defog, Grass Knot, Trick, Trick Room
Role Description: Tired of all the new high-powered Special Attackers in Fusion Evolution like Mega Magmozam, Mega Shot, Mega Peatran, Gorecanion, Porylure-Z and more? Well here's the bulky Water-type for you! Although 99/95/115 bulk may not sound overly impressive to begin with, Empoleking's typing and wide movepool set it apart in being able to take on these threats. It can easily survive Hurricane's from Pidgeotite fusions thanks to its typing, and being confused by them will actually benefit it, and it can take STABs from Magmozam and Gorecanion with ease. 115 Special attack is also good for a wall to hit back with Scald, Fire Blast, Ice Beam and more. To cap this off its support movepool is insane, with reliable recovery in Slack Off, both Stealth Rock and Defog, Toxic, Trick Room and many more. A deceptively bulky Pokemon ready to take on some of Fusion Evolution's top threats.

Parents: Ferrothorn and Heatran
Shared Egg Group: DNA
Offspring Name: Heathorn
New Type: Grass/Steel
New Base Stats: 93/92/129/102/121/49 [+10 HP + 10 Def + 10 SpA +10 SpD]
New Ability: Flash Fire + Iron Barbs = Forest Fire: Immunity to fire attacks; when hit by a fire move, the opponent takes 1/16th of their health.
Notable Moves: Leech Seed, Gyro Ball, Protect, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Lava Plume, Giga Drain, Flash Cannon, Earth Power, Taunt, Magma Storm, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, Substitute
Role Identification: Nice 4x effective move.... now take a bit of recoil! That's right, Heathorn is not only a combination of two of the top 3 steel types in STABmons, it's only has 1 weakness! it also has great annoying moves in Leech seed, Taunt and Will-O-Wisp as well as being able to fit in on Hyper Offense teams thanks to stealth rock and spikes. Also it 1v1's Dianbro/Charizard Fusions and wins :^)

Parents: Galvantula/Deoxys-Speed
Shared Egg Group: DNA
Offspring Name: Galvantulys
New base stats: 60/86/85/110/85/150
New typing: Electric/Psychic
New ability and desc: Compound Pressure: Doubles accuracy, but moves with less than 100 accuracy will use up 2 PP rather than 1.
Notable Moves: Sticky Web, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Reflect, Light Screen, Volt Switch, Psycho Boost, Recover, Thunder, Bug Buzz, Thunder Wave, Icy Wind, Infestation, Taunt
Role Description: Primarily a lead Pokemon, but Galvantulys has a wide variety of support moves with which to annoy the opponent and to support its team. It has a blazing speed stat of 150 and usable 60/85/85 bulk which, when used with recover, can keep Galvantulys on the field for a few turns, even without Focus Sash (but that would help). It has three forms of entry hazards, including the rare Stick Web, it can run dual screen, paralyse the opponent with Thunder Wave, trap them with Infestation or shut down other leads/walls with Taunt. It also has Volt Switch so it can save itself while gaining momentum for a team mate to come in once it has done what it can at the start of a match, as well as Psycho Boost to hit the opponent hard from its 110 Special Attack stat. These factors togther make Galvantulys a great Support Pokemon which can make the powerful yitans of Fusion Evolution even greater.

DNA Patterns: Azelf/Hydreigon
Offspring Name: Hazygon
New Type: Psychic/Dragon
New Base Stats: 83/115/80/145/80/126 (+20SpA, +20Spe, BST 629)
Ability: Levitate
Notable Moves: Draco Meteor, Psychic, Psyshock, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Dark Pulse, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Focus Blast, Flash Cannon, Charge Beam, Thunder Wave, Roost, Taunt, Reflect, Light Screen, Stealth Rock, Trick, Calm Mind
Role Indentification: Psychic/Dragon is an interesting typing that, while it has a few weaknesses, it also has a lot of resistances. This DNA fusion sets it self up as a strong special attacker and not without reason. Sporting a wide array of various special attacks, Hazygon is capable of being a nasty pest. While it's role will mostly be a special attacker, it also houses various (self)support moves like roost, thunder wave, stealth rock and calm mind which can make sweeps even more easier or support your main sweeper by crippling the opponent.

DNA Donors: Jellicent / Diancie
Fusion Name: Jellie
New Type: Ghost / Fairy
New Base Stats: 90 (+15) / 80 / 130 (+20) / 94 (+2) / 130 (+3) / 55
Ability: Clear Absorb: Whenever this Pokemon's stats would be lowered, its health is restored by up to 25% instead. This does not include self-induced stat drops.
Notable Moves: Will o Wisp, Taunt, Recover, Stealth Rock, Pain Split, Trick Room, Calm Mind, Shadow Ball, Moonblast, Scald, Sludge Wave, Energy Ball, Earth Power, Ice Beam, Psychic, Psyshock, Giga Drain
Role Identification: Tank. Its ability makes Jellie great at dealing with Intimidate and the like, and it loves Sticky Web and Defog. Calm Mind and a very wide special movepool also gives it the potential to sweep.

Discussion phase rules are the same as always:
  1. Analyze these abilities. Are they balanced? Can they be better?
  2. Help find the best moveset for them based on their new roles. Should it boost its Attack first? Is it a team supporter?
  3. Try to guess any checks or counters we might run into later, and if possible, see if one of the other fusions would make a good teammate to get past these counters.
  4. To expand on #3, which of these Pokemon can check/counter the earlier slates? How would they fit together on a team? How would they support each other?

Slowking/Empoleon
Jellicent/Diancie
Camerupt/Mamoswine
Snorlax/Hoopa
Aggron/Garchomp

There are a few more I would have liked to vote for but the Abilities are just straight up overpowered (Malamar/Lapras, Zapdos/Exeggutor, just two examples). It's getting a bit out of hand recently.
Malaras's Advocate Scale is not overpowered as its best recovery is Rest and neutral hits can still slap it around like its nothing. If it can't resist the big hitting moves the other mon has it can't wall it. Basically without its ability it's significantly worse than Avalugg and as it is it's probably only UU worthy.

Now when it comes to the new fusions, I feel that Slowking/Empoleon's ability is excessively useless seeing as Swagger is banned and the only viable move that causes confusion is Hurricane. A mix of Oblivious/Torrent could be much better, but may also be unnecessary. Other than that they all look pretty solid.

Snoopa is simply amazing, if it had reliable recovery it might have meen too good, but 5 immunities to common attackng types is a asset defensive teams cant give up. Plus it HARD COUNTERS Polylure!!!!

Snoopa is one of those defensive mons that can just block an entire party and still be able to punish those coming to close to defeating it. Except when it loses it's item.. then it's screwed.

To me, 1 weakness, 2 resistances, and 5 immunities would seem overpowered in combination with 130/70/120 bulk, if not for the fact that that one weakness is a very big weakness, and is on every team: Knock Off. Snoopa is a lot like Normal/Ghost Chansey in Hidden Type: very bulky, great defensive typing, but extremely weak to Knock Off. Also, that Ghost typing means that Snoopa's only ways of boosting its attack are Work Up and Power-Up Punch, because Curse works differently for Ghost types.

Surprisingly, there were no mega fusions this round (which is nice, we have quite a few already).
Anyway, here's a set for Galvantulys
Galvantulys @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest/Timid Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Sticky Web
-Volt Switch/Thunder
-Psycho Boost

An offensive lead set, with Stealth Rock and Sticky Web to hinder the opposition, and a selection of STAB moves to hit the opponent hard with. Thunder is one option for powerful Electric STAB, but Volt Switch is preferable for momentum grabbing. Psycho Boost works as a classic nuking move, and combos well with Volt Switch. Modest works for more power, as with base 150 Speed you'll still outspeed most common things, but Timid can be used to outspeed some boosted threats.

Don't you mean Psycho Boost? Psycho Shift justs switches the status.

It's good to be back

DNA Donors: Azelf + Weavile
Offspring Name: Azile
New Type: Psychic/Dark
New Stats: 72/132/67/105/82/125 (+10 Atk, +20 Spa, +5 Spe, +5 Spd)
New Ability: Levipressure- When this Pokemon is hit by a ground type move, it does no damage and all of the opponent's moves have their PP reduced by 2
Notable Moves: Knock Off, Zen Headbutt, Low Kick, U-turn, Pursuit, Elemental Punches, Iron Tail, Fake Out, Ice Shard, Fire Blast, Dark Pulse, Psyshock, Explosion, Stealth Rock
Role Identification: A Pseudo Hoopa-Unbound. While Hoopa is stronger, this is faster and has much more coverage options. It's high Physical and Special attack stats will make this able to run a physical or special or mixed move sets. It can also be a good lead, having high speed and access to stealth rock and fake out. It's defensive stats will not make it a good wall, but it's other stats make up for it

Parents: Hydreigon + Charizard
Shared Egg Group: Dragon
Offspring Name: Hydreizard
New Type: Fire/Dragon
New Stats: 95/104/94/127/97/109 (+10 All)
New Ability: Leviblaze- Immune to ground type attacks. When hit by a ground type attack, the power of this pokemon's fire type attacks due 1.3x more damage.
Notable Moves: Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Air Slash, Surf, Dark Pulse, Flash Cannon, Dragon Pulse, U-Turn, Flare Blitz, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Outrage, Dragon Dance
Role Identification: This Pokemon is in the shadow of it's mega evolutions, but with only 2 weaknesses due to it's ability, and defensive stats all above 90, this Pokemon can safely use dragon dance and boost its already decent stats

Parents:Hydreigon + Charizard-Mega X
Shared Egg Group: Dragon
Offspring Name: Hydreizard-X
New Type: Fire/Dragon
New Stats: 95/150/127/148/97/109 (+46 Atk, +33 Def, +21 Spa)
New Ability: Tough Claws
Notable Moves: Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, U-Turn, Outrage, Crunch, Draco Meteor, Fire Blast
Role Identification: This mon has almost Hazard Level strength. It has more speed, special attack and bulk in exchange for physical strength when compared to Hazard. It has the ability to extremely weaken physical walls and OHKO special walls due to tough claws flare blitz coming off of +1 Attack. Also

Parents: Hydreigon + Charizard-Mega Y

DNA Donors: Swoobat and Hoopa
Offspring Name: Swoopa
New Typing: Ghost/Flying
New Base Stats: 88 (+15)/83/72 (+15)/113/102 (+10)/92 (BST 550)
New Ability: Vanishing Trick (Magician + Unaware) - The effect of the opponent's items and positive stat changes are ignored.
Notable Moves: Amnesia, Calm Mind, Air Slash, Psyshock, Psychic, Taunt, Roost, Shadow Ball, Reflect, Energy Ball, Charge Beam, Thunder Wave, U-Turn, Knock Off, Stored Power, Psycho Shift, Giga Drain, Heat Wave, Magic Coat, Tailwind, Trick, Hyperspace Hole, Destiny Bond, Light Screen, Nasty Plot, Thunderbolt, Focus Blast
Role Description: Why hello there, a better version of Unaware. With this ability, even Choice users and Leftovers-using walls would fear the fusion. While 88/72/102 bulk isn't amazing by any means, the immunities it holds are good enough to make it usable. Oh, and also: It ignores Assault Vest users. Yeah.

DNA Donors: Furfrou and Zygarde
Offspring Name: Fufrarde
New Typing: Normal/Dragon
New Base Stats: 106 (+15)/90/95 (+5)/73/112 (+20)/98 (BST 550)
New Ability: Aura Coat (Fur Coat + Aura Break) - The opponent's physical moves now calculate damage using their SpA. (Psyshock, Psystrike and Secret Sword however, calculates damage using Atk.)
Notable Moves: Glare, Bulldoze, Crunch, Earthquake, Dragon Dance, Coil, Extreme Speed, Outrage, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Dragon Tail, Iron Tail, Superpower, Zen Headbutt, Sucker Punch, U-Turn, Wild Charge, Refresh
Role Description: Remember Offstats metagame? This is essentially it, except only against Physical moves. That means it can have a much easier time setting up DD/Coil and then sweep, or cripple physical sweepers with Glare, and pivot out with U-Turn. Sucks that it doesn't have recovery outside of Rest, but eh. Also, it's yet another STAB Extreme Speed user. Whoops.
