Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

Klefki is able to tank Alakazam's moves quite well before paralyzing it with a priority Thunder Wave. Speaking of priority, Klefki's Prankster also helps it avoid Alakazam's Encore (if it does carry that move), which is pretty nice for a defensive mon. Finally, even without any Atk investment, Play Rough is a 2HKO on Alakazam since it has extra puny HP and Def stats.
252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Klefki: 34-40 (10.6 - 12.5%) -- possibly the worst move ever

It can come in safely as long as Alakazam doesnt carry Psyshock and Torn manages to stay healthy. Tornadus-T outspeeds and forces a switch which it can capitalize with U-Turn grabbing momentum or KO with Knock Off should it stay in.

Meloetta @ Choice Specs
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

Meloetta utilitizes her typing in this matchup by being able to switch in on Psychic, Hidden Power Ice/Fire, and Shadow Ball and one-shot with a Specs-Backed Shadow Ball. Focus Blast is a 3HKO, though Meloetta would prefer not switching in on that. Be wary of the rare Knock Off, which along with Focus Blast and Psychic will KO Meloetta on a switch. However, one Knock Off in conjunction with one Focus Blast is not enough to KO Meloetta, and non-specs Shadow Ball still 2HKOs.

252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Meloetta: 79-94 (23.1 - 27.5%) -- 76.3% chance to 4HKO

Sassy Nature

AV Tangrowth is an extremely reliable counter to LO Alakaam as it's not 2HKO'd by any move even after Stealth Rock thanks to its insane HP stat coupled with a high Defense and despite a mediocre defense stat, Assault Vest boosts it to respective levels. Tangrowth can easily OHKO with Knock Off in return.

4 Atk Mega Scizor U-turn vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Alakazam: 402-474 (160.1 - 188.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Scizor can survive 2 hits from Alakazam, barring a Focus Blast SpD drop, and Roost back up or OHKO with U-turn.

Mandibuzz @ Leftovers

EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 108 SpD / 16 Spe

Alakazam can't do anything to Mandibuzz, thanks to her bulk and excellent defensive typing; even HP Ice is only a 3HKO. Even if Mandibuzz does accumulate a lot of damage, she can simply Roost it off, and then KO back with Foul Play. However, she doesn't like taking a Dazzling Gleam to the face.

Calcs:

252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 108 SpD Mandibuzz: 164-194 (38.7 - 45.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 108 SpD Mandibuzz: 82-97 (19.3 - 22.9%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

I know people have already posted but I just want to say that the way LO Alakazam is set up right now is pretty weird for Week 95. For example, AV Torn-T was listed as a counter but something like Knock Off is a legitimately good option on it, while the post that stated M-Scizor as a counter would be nice if it could realistically ever switch into Focus Blast and if HP Fire wasn't also a good option, which I used a lot when everyone and their mother was using M-Scizor.

I think we've had this discussion before so I probably forgot but where do we draw the line on putting various options or how you do it? I don't know how you normally implement it Aragorn but maybe consider putting options that are noticeable at a certain usage stat rate, which I would use 1825+ or w/e the high point is these days.

I usually stick to the analyses, and this time I did exactly that. Looking at 1825 usage instead, Dazzling Gleam and Hidden Power Fire are both used more than Hidden Power Ice and Encore, so it's my bad that I didn't check if the analysis was up-to-date. However, Knock Off has under 5.4% usage, so I'm not sure if I'd feel right in including something that's used so little, even if it's good (especially in tours).

Disclaimer: the usage stats are about evenly split for LO and Sash, so it's possible Knock Off's weight when only considering LO is higher (but it still couldn't have more than 10ish% usage which is still less than HP-Ice).

I'll now slash the fourth slot Dazzling Gleam / Hidden Power Fire / Hidden Power Ice to better represent 1825 usage. Thanks AM, and sorry in general for the confusion, and specifically to Recreant and noobcubed who should change their counters to checks or change their nom b/c of this change.

Most of Alakazam's attacks do less damage than what Regenerator can heal, so Tornadus can switch in, then do massive amounts of damage with U-Turn or OHKO it with Knock Off.

Unfortunately, if rocks are up, Tornadus can't switch into Psychic or Hidden Power Ice.

IVs: 0 Atk

- Soft-Boiled

Thanks to the lack of Psyshock on Life Orb Alakazam (seriously?), Blissey is a counter because can tank reliably even Focus Blast:
252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Focus Blast vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Blissey: 224-265 (34.3 - 40.6%) -- 46% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
===> this means that Blissey can switch-in and:

(1) Start PP stalling Focus Blast with Softboiled which heals 50% health
===> Blissey regains from 15,7% to 9,4% HP each time.

(2) Use a Calm Mind + Softoboiled in the following turn.
252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Focus Blast vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Blissey: 224-265 (34.3 - 40.6%) -- 46% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery (2 times in a row)
===> 40,6% on the switch - 6% from Leftovers + 40,6% - 6% from Leftovers = 69,2% HP depleted and Blissey uses Calm Mind after being hit for the second time
Then:
252 SpA Life Orb Alakazam Focus Blast vs. +1 4 HP / 252 SpD Blissey: 151-179 (23.1 - 27.4%) and Blissey uses the first Softboiled
===> Blissey begins to stall Alakazam with Softboiled.

P.S. Fun fact: Alakazam is KOed by its Life Orb 1 vs 1, so it can be used as a set-up fodder.
