Well, this is where one has to question exactly how worthwhile that 10 HP on Tangela really was. Gale had the opportunity to send in whatever he liked to try and finish off a relatively weak Gastly, but instead decided to play around a little and as a result he now finds his Timburr trapped and completely outgunned by that cute little Snubbull. Timburr's defensive tactics were worth exactly nought, not helped at all by some unluckly Double Team clones in the middle of the round. Now Timburr finds itself unable to switch out, intimidated and facing a pumped up Snubbull. Talk about a momentum swing.

Nah, I've got more. Its_A_Random goes for a stinging KO, and nails it against Gale's miscalculated substitution. It looks like IAR is set to clean up this match, as Tangela is severely low on energy. However, Gale does have the advantage of ordering first against a Pokemon in cooldown. This isn't over just yet! Also, I have no idea how I reffed this. How do people get anything done on MacBooks.

Nah, I've got more. Its_A_Random goes for a stinging KO, and nails it against Gale's miscalculated substitution. It looks like IAR is set to clean up this match, as Tangela is severely low on energy. However, Gale does have the advantage of ordering first against a Pokemon in cooldown. This isn't over just yet! Also, I have no idea how I reffed this. How do people get anything done on MacBooks.

Actually Timburr should have used Counter A3 as while the conditions for both Play Rough subs were met, his first sub was about using Counter and that supersedes the Detect sub by law of handbook.
