Well unfortunately for YAS, hax goes both ways here. It all started to look bright for him as Missy and Abra resumed the item switching shenanigans they started off this match with, Abra finally coming out the victor. A nice little Special Defence drop even had things looking all the better for YAS, that is until one lucky crit from Misdreavous landed Birkal the all important first KO of the match. In what had been a see-sawing affair the first KO is an all important momentum swing and could see the rest of the mons in this match start falling like dominoes. However all is not lost for YAS, even with losing the numbers advantage he is ahead in HP totals. Things start looking even better once you work out that not even Stealth Rock totally evens up the totals. What I hope mostly for is for these players to make the next few rounds quick ones, as I would hate to see one of the better matches in the round end up having to be called early. I know I'll be doing my best to ref whenever I'm up.

With Misdreavous on the brink YAS opts for a well, very strange way of dealing with endure. No strange is the wrong way to put it, what I should say is completely ineffective. Dealing no direct damage at all for the round with a particularly useless Protect closing it out what seems to have happened is YAS allowing Birkal and Misdreavous to escape and further push the advantage that both number and Stealth Rock have afforded him. Certainly not the kind of momentum you want to be giving up this close to not only the conclusion of the match but with a potential cut off looming.

YAS has Murkrow stall and postulate and in the end achieve very little. It does a grand total of zero damage to Chinchou for the round, which still looms greatly as Birkals best mon at finishing this one off. At least Whirlwind brought in a reasonable switch as Murkrow is now able to face down a Chimchar about as weak as itself and attempt to carve a path for Bellsprout to come in and finish off without having to face down its nemesis. That is provided YAS can actually pull off ordering first thing time.

In the end it is basically turn order that is the undoing of YAS. Bellsprout does the best it can, even with one rather impressive combination, but he just can't overcome the Pokemon advantage.
