Keldeo

QC: 2/3
GP: 0/2

[OVERVIEW]
+Great typing offensively, beating common threats like Colossoil, Chansey, and Heatran
+Resists common types like Dark, Fire, and Ice, which include common offensive CAP threats like Syclant and Colossoil
+Secret Sword lets it hit for physical damage without taking away from Keldeo's Special Attack
+Can defeat most Rock, Ground, and Steel OU Pokemon (and Chansey) easily
+Versatile and potentially unpredictable due to multiple viable sets. It can be a potent wall breaker with Choice Specs or Life Orb, a revenge killer / cleaner with Choice Scarf, or a boosting win condition with Substitute and Calm Mind.
-Weak to common Pokemon like Talonflame, Tomohawk, Aurumoth, Plasmanta, Latios, Azumarill, and Mega Venusaur.
-Tends to have difficulty dealing with Mollux and Mega Altaria, two potent threats

Moves
========
-Scald is your move for occasionally burning opponents and dealing accurate damage. Use it when you want the chance to cripple some physical attackers or when you want an accurate Water type move.
-Secret Sword is your move for hitting specially defensive Pokemon like Hoopa-Unbound, Tyranitar in Sand, and walls and that would otherwise force you out (mainly Chansey, but it also OHKOs Assault Vest Colossoil).
-Hydro Pump is your move for maximizing damage against foes that don't resist it and aren't huge special walls, being able to defeat most things it hits super effectively. With Choice Specs or Life Orb, Keldeo can get past bulkier threats like Clefable and Jirachi, which Scald does not have the power for.
-Hidden Power Ground is necessary to do just about anything to Mollux and Plasmanta, which resist Secret Sword and benefit from being hit by Water moves.
-Icy Wind is good to use when you predict a switch to another Pokemon, especially when it can KO the current opponent, as faster threats that get slowed can then be defeated. It is also coverage against Necturna and Mega Altaria, which otherwise could use Keldeo as setup bait.

Set Details
========
-Timid is needed for Keldeo to outspeed as much as possible. Without a Speed boosting Nature, Keldeo is outsped by 95 Base Speed Pokemon and above with maximum Speed investment and a positive Nature. Outspeeding Colossoil, Volkraken, Kyurem-Black, and Gliscor is fairly important, as is keeping ahead of Pokemon with Speed stats slightly lower than Keldeo like Charizard, Garchomp, and Krilowatt.
-Choice Specs is used to maximize damage from Keldeo at all costs. Unfortunately, one of those costs is being unable to switch moves, which isn't great when there are Pokemon with immunities to every move (or almost every move) you carry.
-Life Orb is used to increase damage when the ability to change between moves is vital
-Expert Belt can let Keldeo bluff having a Choice item, which Life Orb cannot due to its recoil damage. This can help it to lure a potential check in and then defeat it with another coverage move.

Usage Tips
========
-Choice Specs Keldeo should be used towards the end of a game, when threats to it have been eliminated (or weakened for it to defeat) and it can cleanly sweep. It is also helpful in the beginning and middle of the game, as few Pokemon can take its powerful attacks. Also, the chance of spreading burns helps.
-Life Orb Keldeo and Expert Belt Keldeo have more freedom, being able to effectively fight at almost any point in the match. If the opponent is tricked into thinking Keldeo is Choice locked, he/she may send in a Pokemon like Mollux or Plasmanta that would counter Keldeo, allowing the player to use Hidden Power Ground for massive damage.
-Scald, unless your opponent has a Pokemon with a Water immunity, is generally the safest move early in the match, as a potential Burn can wear down Keldeo counters like Mega Venusaur, making it easier for Keldeo to clean later on.

Team Options
========
-Keldeo cannot effectively fight common Grass types like Venusaur, Serperior, and Celebi, as well as Pokemon that outspeed it, so Talonflame is a helpful teammate thanks to its powerful prioritized Flying type attacks.
-Keldeo is weak to common special attackers (Serperior, Raikou, Mega Alakazam, Mega Diancie, etc.), so specially defensive teammates that can also provide Wish (or Healing Wish) support like Clefable, Jirachi, Latias, and Sylveon are effective.
-Good on Offensive and Balanced teams for the type coverage, power, and speed it provides.
-Ground types like Colossoil, Garchomp, and Hippowdon help Keldeo to deal with Electric type checks. Colossoil also helps Keldeo against Psychic types, especially considering it can Pursuit trap them, while Garchomp and Hippowdon check Talonflame and can set Stealth Rock. Ground type teammates are especially important if Keldeo lacks Hidden Power Ground.
-Offensive Grass or Electric types like Necturna, Serperior, or Plasmanta are helpful because Keldeo has great difficulty getting through bluky Waters.
-Pursuit trappers like Tyranitar, Colossoil, Bisharp, Scizor, and Mega Metagross are great for removing bulky Psychic Pokemon (like Starmie, Latios, and Latias) that wall Keldeo

[SET]

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
-Scald is a tool for spreading misery to the foe, having the ability to burn Pokemon mid-sweep thanks to Choice Scarf. In addition, it is safer for cleaning up remaining opponents than Hydro Pump thanks to its higher accuracy.
-Secret Sword is great type coverage and hits specially bulky Pokemon harder than Scald or Hydro Pump.
-Hydro Pump does more damage to opponents if Scald's burn chance and reliable accuracy are not needed. Hydro Pump is especially helpful against Aurumoth, Mega Charizards X and Y, Mega Crucibelle, and Gliscor.
-Hidden Power Ground is, as usual, Keldeo's best method of eliminating Mollux and Plasmanta.
-Icy Wind is a decent option if Keldeo's final act is to slow the opponent for its team or if a switch to Altaria or Dragonite is predicted.

Set Details
========
-Timid allows Keldeo to outspeed as much as possible, especially with Choice Scarf. Modest would cause Keldeo to lose to things it could otherwise deal with. For example, a Modest Nature Keldeo with Choice Scarf would be outsped by a Jolly Mega Charizard X or Naviathan after one Dragon Dance. It would also be slower than a maximum Speed Pokemon with Choice Scarf with 95 Base Speed or higher (for example, Garchomp and Kyurem-Black)
-EVs maximize Speed and damage output.
-Choice Scarf allows Keldeo to outspeed more opponents, several of which would defeat it otherwise, notably making it a check to Cawmodore, Mega Charizard X after one Dragon Dance, and Choice Scarf Mollux.

Usage Tips
========
-Most effective late game, when Keldeo stoppers have been removed, especially Talonflame, as it cleans weakened foes effectively.
-If used earlier in the game, it should be wary of the opponent switching and should not allow the opponent to set up on it.
-Again, Scald is usually the safest option in the early game, as it can inflict a Burn on a counter that attempts to switch into Keldeo, allowing Keldeo to have an easier time in the late game.

Team Options
========
-Since many Flying types, Psychic types, and Fairies defeat Keldeo, Mega Metagross is a helpful partner.
-Best on Hyperoffensive and Balanced teams for its ability to stop things like Heatran and Colossoil. This helps Pokemon like Gengar, Mega Manectric, Mega Gardevoir, Kitsunoh, Choice Scarf Mollux, and Latios.
-Ground type teammates like Hippowdon, Colossoil, and Excadrill are very helpful for dealing with Electric types, along with Mollux and Plasmanta.
-Like most Keldeo, this Keldeo struggles with bulky Waters, so Grass and Electric type teammates like Mega Venusaur and Plasmanta are very important.

move 4: Calm Mind
ability: Justified
item: Leftovers / Salac Berry
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
-Scald helps Keldeo survive longer against physical attackers that would otherwise get past its Special Defense boosts. Its low power is offset by Calm Mind boosts.
-Secret Sword is great type coverage and prevents Chansey from stopping the sweep.
-Substitute is a great move, allowing Keldeo to avoid status moves, set up Calm Mind safely, and defeat foes that would otherwise outspeed and defeat it (even Talonflame).
-Calm Mind increases Keldeo's ability to survive and throw out special attacks, allowing it to sweep effectively.

Set Details
========
-Timid, as always, allows Keldeo to outspeed more foes (like Gliscor, Volkraken, and Kyurem-Black).
-EVs allow Keldeo to outspeed opponents with lower Base Speed and deal a lot of damage.
-4 HP EVs allow the Salac Berry, if it is chosen, to activate after using Substitute for a third time.
-Leftovers allows Keldeo to have better longevity, recovering damage taken from using Substitute.
-Salac Berry allows Keldeo to bluff a choice item, only to get a speed boost upon taking a sufficient damage, assisting in its sweep.

Usage Tips
========
-Defeat Unaware Pokemon (Clefable, Arghonaut, and Quagsire), Psyshock users like Gardevoir, Latios, and Latias, and Talonflame before sending out Keldeo, as they will prevent it from reaching its final form if Keldeo has no Substitute up.
-Take opportunities to set up Substitute, as it is a necessity for taking out faster Pokemon and makes it safer to use Calm Mind.
-Set up on passive Pokemon like Chansey, Sableye, Pyroak, Fidgit, etc.
-Helpful on Hyperoffensive and Balanced teams for its ability to stop opponents with Substitute and STAB coverage.

Team Options
========
-Since Keldeo struggles with bulky Waters, Grass types, Electric types, and Fairies, Mega Venusaur can be used as an effective teammate thanks to its resistances and STAB Grass and Poison attacks.
-Clefable can stop Pokemon that set up on Keldeo with Unaware and Talonflame with Stealth Rocks. In addition, it can Wish pass to Keldeo to help it survive and use Heal Bell if it gets a status condition.
-Ground types like Garchomp, Colossoil, or Gliscor are vital teammates for this set due to its inability to viably carry Hidden Power Ground to deal with Mollux, Plasmanta, and various Electric types.
-Unaware Clefable is a huge force in CAP that obliterates Keldeo, meaning Steel types like Mega Metagross and Heatran, Poison types like Gengar and Mollux, and Fire types like Heatran and Pyroak are great partners.
-Flying types like Mega Pigeot, Talonflame, and Tornadus are helpful for removing Grass types like Serperior, Venusaur, and Necturna.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
-Calm Mind + 3 Attacks can be used, but its power is not as great as the AOA, cannot outspeed as much as Choice Scarf Keldeo, and cannot set up as well as CM + Substitute
-Hidden Power Flying can help punish Grass types like Mega Venusaur, Necturna, Celebi, and Breloom on the switch in, but it isn't as powerful against most things as Scald/Hydro Pump or Secret Sword
-Hidden Power Bug defeats Celebi, but Celebi is rare in CAP (thanks Colossoil!)
-Hidden Power Electric can be used to help against bulky Water types, but it primarily beats Gyarados.
-Taunt can be used to pressure walls like Pyroak and Chansey. It also helps Keldeo avoid being statused, especially by Thunder Wave.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Waters**: There isn't much to say besides that the likes of Manaphy, Slowbro, Krilowatt, and Rotom-W are too bulky for it to defeat unboosted (allowing Manaphy to set up). However, the only one of these that can switch into Choice Specs Keldeo's Secret Sword is Slowbro.

**Grass Types**: Mega Venusaur walls it while Necturna, Celebi, and Serperior overpower it, although Serperior cannot take many Secret Swords from Keldeo (Icy Wind may not be a good option due to Contrary)

**Fairy Types**: Clefable, Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, Sylveon, Altaria Mega, and Azumarill all easily defeat Keldeo. However, Diancie and Gardevoir cannot switch in. Mega Altaria also has difficulty due to Icy Wind.

**Flying Types**: Many Flying types (Talonflame, Tornadus-Therian) outspeed and defeat Keldeo. Togekiss survives Keldeo, Thunder Waves it, and destroys it with Air Slash. Talonflame can only check Keldeo, though.

**Electric Types**: Without Scarf, Scarf Magnezone outspeeds, as do Mega Manectric, Raikou, Thundurus, making them good revenge killers. However, thesr cannot switch into Keldeo well.

**Psychic Types** Many powerful Psychics (Latios, Latias, Alakazam, Jirachi, Mega Metagross) outspeed Keldeo and defeat it, while Keldeo can do little in return. Most of these are checks that hate switching in on Scald, however, especially Jirachi and Metagross, which want to avoid being Burned. Only Latios and Latias, two of the best checks to Keldeo, can switch in relatively well, although Icy Wind can take a large chunk of their HP.

Hey EpicUmbreon29, QC talked over Keldeo's sets recently, and we're leaning towards these for the first two sets

move 3: Hydro Pump
move 4: Hidden Power Ground / Icy Wind / Hidden Power Electric

move 3: Hydro Pump
move 4: Hidden Power Ground / Icy Wind / Hidden Power Electric
ability: Justified
item: Choice Scarf

HP Ground is in front on the first two sets since it's necessary in this meta to avoid being walled by Mollux / Plasmanta. Third set looks good as is, Salac Berry can be slashed as a secondary item choice though, as it allows Keldeo to bluff a Choice item and gives it a better shot at sweeping at the cost of passive recovery. Other Options can list CM + 3 Attacks, HP Flying for Venu and such, and HP Bug (though Celebi is admittedly rare in this meta).

Hey EpicUmbreon29, I have a few comments so far

All-Out Attacker
- When giving the Expert Belt description, mention that it can effectively feign a Choice item, which Life Orb can't do due to recoil, allowing it to potentially lure and defeat a check with one of its other coverage options.
- In the Usage Tips section, especially in the case of the set with Choice Specs, mention that Scald is usually the safest option to use early-game (unless your opponent is packing a Water immunity on their team), as it can help get important residual damage in the form of a burn to wear down its own counters such as Mega Venusaur, making it easier for Keldeo to come in later in the match and clean up.
- Ground-types such as Colossoil, Garchomp, Hippowdown can pair well with Keldeo to help take on the Electric-types that check it. Colossoil can also take on Psychic-types for Keldeo, while the latter two can act as better Talonflame checks and provide helpful Stealth Rock support. Ground-types are especially important if Keldeo isn't running Hidden Power Ground, as it will have no way of defeating Mollux or Plasmanta.

Choice Scarf
- Same usage tip above applies here, Scald is (usually) the safest move to use if using Keldeo earlier in the game to potentially grab that extra residual damage on its own counters.
- Same point about Ground-types applies here

SubCM
- Let's move the 4 Def into HP (so 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe), so that Salac Berry activates after the third Sub. Mention that in Set Details as well.
- Same point about Ground-types also applies here. Especially important on this set since Keldeo doesn't have room for HP Ground.
- Stuff that can handle Unaware Clef is important, our meta kinda has an obsession with it, which can give SubCM Keld a comparatively rough time. Basically, more examples of Steel-, Poison-, Fire-types would fit well here.

Good work so far, lemme know if you had questions on any of this.

[OVERVIEW]
+Great typing offensively
+Resists common types like Dark, Fire, and Ice
+Good Speed for attacking
+Great Special Attack
+Access to Secret Sword (aka Chansey breaker)
+90/90/90 bulk
+Can defeat most Rock, Ground, and Steel OU Pokemon (and Chansey) easily (although some boosting may be required)
+Resists Syclant's offensive moves
+One of the greatest counters to Colossoil, one of the most prevalent Pokemon
I'd mention that Keldeo is quite versatile in that it has several viable set options, giving it a layer of unpredictability.
-Weak to Talonflame (Brave Bird spam)
-Loses often to most OU Psychic, Fairy, Electric, Grass, and Flying Pokemon
-Loses often to Plasmanta, Aurumoth, Cyclohm, Cawmodore, and Tomohawk, all common and fairly viable Pokemon in CAP
-Tends to have difficulty dealing with Mollux and Altaria Mega (the latter of which tops viability rankings) remove the mention of the viability rankings since these are dynamic (you can say something like Mega Altaria is a very potent threat that Keldeo often struggles with).

From the notes for analysis writers thread:
said:
On top of these points, don't state information that you can see in the dex entry. The typing, ability, and stats are at the top of the page. It is fine to talk about how a Pokemon's defensive typing lets it handle [x threats], how its STABs and coverage make it an excellent wallbreaker, or how its Speed stat puts it above the majority of the tier. What isn't fine is statements like 'Gengar has a great base 130 Special Attack stat'. This provides no useful information to the reader.
So basically, when you talk about Keldeo's stats, expand on how this helps Keldeo perform in the metagame instead of just listing them. The rest looks pretty good.

Moves

-Scald is your move for burning opponents and dealing accurate damage. Use it when you want to cripple some physical attackers not named Charizard.
-Secret Sword is your move for hitting special walls that would otherwise force you out (mainly Chansey, but it also OHKOs Assault Vest Colossoil).
-Hydro Pump is your move for maximizing damage against foes that don't resist it and aren't huge special walls, being able to defeat most things it hits super effectively. also worth mentioning that with Specs it can muscle past some really bulky stuff like Clefable and Jirachi, which Scald can't do
-Hidden Power Ground is necessary to do just about anything to Mollux and Plasmanta, which resist Secret Sword and benefit from being hit by Water moves.
-Icy Wind is good to use when you predict a switch to another Pokemon, especially when it can KO the current opponent, as faster threats that get slowed can then be defeated. also provides coverage against Mega Alt / Necturna, kinda useful since both of these mons could otherwise use Keldeo as setup bait
-Hidden Power Electric is a move that helps fight bulky waters, primarily on Expert Belt sets.
I know I initially made a post suggesting HP Electric in the third slot, but I'm kinda unsure whether it should be there or not since I've never actually seen anyone legitimately use it over HP Ground or Icy Wind in CAP. I'll consult the other QCers.

Set Details
========
-Timid is needed for Keldeo to outspeed as much as possible while keeping Special Attack high.
-EVs are placed so that Keldeo outspeeds and KOs its opponents.
Perhaps add some justification for Timid here; it's kinda important to note that Keldeo is outpaced by everything faster than 252+ base 95s if it doesn't run a positive nature, making say, Modest a pretty bad option.
-Life Orb is used to increase damage when the ability to change between moves is vital
-Choice Specs is used to maximize damage from Keldeo at all costs
mention the items in the order they're slashed, 1. Specs 2. LO 3. Expert Belt
-Expert Belt makes the fourth moveslot just a bit more helpful (as well as boosting the power of its main STAB options on foes weak to them). In addition, Expert Belt can let Keldeo bluff having a Choice item, which Life Orb cannot due to its recoil damage. This can help it to lure a potential check in and then defeat it with another coverage move.

Usage Tips
========
-Choice Specs Keldeo should be used towards the end of a game, when threats to it have been eliminated (or weakened for it to defeat) and it can cleanly sweep.
-Life Orb Keldeo and Expert Belt Keldeo have more freedom, being able to effectively fight at almost any point in the match.
-Switch out immediately when your opponent sends out a Keldeo counter. You will not survive.
^isn't this kinda common sense
-Scald, unless your opponent has a Pokemon with a Water immunity, is generally the safest move early in the match, as a potential Burn can wear down Keldeo counters like Mega Venusaur, making it easier for Keldeo to clean later on.

Team Options
========
-Keldeo cannot effectively fight common Grass types and Pokemon that outspeed it, so Talonflame is a helpful teammate. thanks to its priority Flying-type attacks
-Keldeo is weak to common special attackers (Grass types, Electric types, Psychic types, Fairies), so Chansey is an effective teammate that can also provide Wish support.
-Good on Hyperoffensive and Balanced teams for the type coverage, power, and speed it provides.
-Ground types like Colossoil, Garchomp, and Hippowdon help Keldeo to deal with Electric type checks. Colossoil also helps Keldeo against Psychic types (it can Pursuit trap them which helps immensely), while Garchomp and Hippowdon check Talonflame and can set Stealth Rock. If Keldeo does not have Hidden Power Ground, a Ground type is extremely helpful for defeating Mollux and Plasmanta.
I'd put some offensive Grass-/Electric-types in here (Necturna, Serperior, Plasmanta, etc), since bulky Waters are generally going to be what Keldeo struggles breaking past the most (and Keldeo realistically isn't running HP Electric very often in CAP)

-Scald is a tool for spreading misery to the foe, having the ability to burn Pokemon mid-sweep thanks to Choice Scarf. and it gives a safer Water-type cleaning option over Hydro Pump thanks to the accuracy.
-Secret Sword is great type coverage and Chansey's worst nightmare.
-Hydro Pump is often a better choice than Scald (debatable, it varies depending on your opponent's team / point in the match) because it does more damage to possible switch ins, if Scald's burn chance is not needed.
-Hidden Power Ground is, as usual, the first line of defense against Mollux and Plasmanta.
-Icy Wind is a decent option if Keldeo's final act is to slow the opponent for its team or if a switch to Altaria or Dragonite is predicted.
-Hidden Power Electric is primarily for bulky Waters, but it can also help against Flying types thanks to the Speed boost.

-Grass Types: Pyroak and Mega Venusaur wall it while Necturna, Celebi, and Serperior overpower it. Pyroak takes a ton of damage from Hydro Pump, probably shouldn't be the first mon mentioned
-Electric Types: Without Scarf, Scarf Magnezone outspeeds, as do Mega Manectric, Raikou, Thundurus, and Scarf Kyurem B. Kyurem-B isn't an Electric-type, also mention that these mons have trouble switching in, meant to be used as checks/revenge killers

-Psychic Types: Many powerful Psychics (Alakazam, Jirachi, Mega Metagross) outspeed Keldeo and defeat it, while Keldeo can do little in return. again, not all of these can come in safely, Metagross especially hates switching into Scald.
-Flying Types: Many Flying types (Talonflame, Tornadus (make this Torn-T since it's more relevant)) outspeed and defeat Keldeo. Togekiss survives Keldeo, Thunder Waves it, and destroys it with Air Slash Talonflame can't come into Water-type attacks, this all seems obvious but it's important to differentiate which mons are checks and which mons are counters.

**Insert Threat Here**: Describe why the Pokemon is a threat.
so basically, add the double asterisks and line breaks in between sections
Good work on this Epic, sorry if I made this kinda long lol, just wanted to be thorough. Once stuff is implemented, I'm comfortable giving this QC 1/3

I'd like the next QCer to comment on whether HP Electric deserves to be slashed or not. I've never actually used it over HP Ground or Icy Wind, which are far more viable and relevant options for Keldeo in CAP in my eyes, whereas HP Electric is fairly niche.

sparktrain , I finally implemented the things you told me to. I removed Hidden Power Electric and changed a few things, so it would be great if you could tell me if I fixed this correctly!

[OVERVIEW]
+Great typing offensively Add a little more to this, such as a couple common threats that Keldeo take advantage of.
+Resists common types like Dark, Fire, and Ice, which include common offensive CAP threats like Syclant and Colossoil
+Access to Secret Sword (aka Chansey breaker) You could change this to "Lets it hit on the physical side without taking away from Keldeo's special attack".
+Can defeat most Rock, Ground, and Steel OU Pokemon (and Chansey) easily
+Beats Colossoil, an extremely common Pokemon in CAP This is already covered by the above statement, and is based off of a statement that may change in the future.
+Versatile and potentially unpredictable due to multiple viable setsMention the different roles the sets do. Specs breaks walls, Scarf is a powerful revenge killer/cleaner, etc.

These three points need to be merged into one section. Make sure it's not terribly massive.
-Weak to Talonflame (Brave Bird spam) You could probably add other common flying types like tomohawk.
-Loses often to most OU Psychic, Fairy, Electric, Grass, and Flying Pokemonwe already know keldeo is weak to these types; the dex already tells us at the top of the page. this information is redundant.
-Loses often to Plasmanta, Aurumoth, Cyclohm, Cawmodore, and Tomohawk, all common and fairly viable Pokemon in CAP Merge this with the above, while listing some OU mons; cawmodore actually had a bad matchup because keldeo wins 1v1 and has scarf to check. also: avoid mentioning viability, as that isn't static and may change in the future

This would probably look more like this: "Has weaknesses to common Pokemon such as Talonflame, Tomohawk, Aurumoth, Plasmanta, Latios, Azumarill, and Mega Venusaur."

-Tends to have difficulty dealing with Mollux and Altaria Mega, two potent threats

Moves
========
-Scald is your move foroccasionally burning opponents and dealing accurate damage. Use it when you want to cripple some physical attackers not named Charizard.charizard doesn't like switching into it, that needs to be removed

-Secret Sword is your move for hitting special walls that would otherwise force you out (mainly Chansey, but it also OHKOs Assault Vest Colossoil).Mentionspecially defensive pokemon, not just walls.
-Hydro Pump is your move for maximizing damage against foes that don't resist it and aren't huge special walls, being able to defeat most things it hits super effectively. With Choice Specsor life orb, Keldeo can get past bulkier threats like Clefable and Jirachi, which Scald does not have the power for.

Set Details
========
-Timid is needed for Keldeo to outspeed as much as possible while keeping Special Attack high. Omit the special attack part, since this is obvious.Without a Speed boosting Nature, Keldeo is outspedby 95 Base Speed Pokemon and above with maximum Speed investment and a positive Nature. Outspeeding Colossoil, Volkraken, Kyurem-Black, and Gliscor is fairly important.Mention some faster mons like Charizard, Garchomp, Krilowatt.
-EVs are placed so that Keldeo outspeeds and KOs its opponents.Omit this, redundant info.
-Choice Specs is used to maximize damage from Keldeo at all costsmention how the inability to switch moves is a serious downside.
-Life Orb is used to increase damage when the ability to change between moves is vital
-Expert Belt makes the fourth moveslot just a bit more helpful (as well as boosting the power of its main STAB options on foes weak to them). In addition, Omit the entire section before this sentence. Expert Belt can let Keldeo bluff having a Choice item, which Life Orb cannot due to its recoil damage. This can help it to lure a potential check in and then defeat it with another coverage move.

Usage Tips
========
-Choice Specs Keldeo should be used towards the end of a game, when threats to it have been eliminated (or weakened for it to defeat) and it can cleanly sweep.Specs keldeo is perfectly usable early/mid game as well, as very few mons can take the attacks and potentially spreading burns is good, as you're mentioned below.
-Life Orb Keldeo and Expert Belt Keldeo have more freedom, being able to effectively fight at almost any point in the match.Expand on how Expert Belt can lure in threats that think it is choice locked.
-Scald, unless your opponent has a Pokemon with a Water immunity, is generally the safest move early in the match, as a potential Burn can wear down Keldeo counters like Mega Venusaur, making it easier for Keldeo to clean later on.

Team Options
========
-Keldeo cannot effectively fight common Grass types and Pokemon that outspeed it, so Talonflame is a helpful teammate thanks to its powerful prioritized Flying type attacks. What grass types? Put in some of: Venusaur, Serperior, Celebi.
-Keldeo is weak to common special attackers (Grass types, Electric types, Psychic types, Fairies name mons not types), so Chansey is an effective teammate that can also provide Wish support. Change the Chansey mention to Clefable, Jirachi, Latias, etc. since even though its a fine option on teams of a more stally nature, the other mons mentioned are generally the better option overall. Clefable and Jirachi are fine special walls that give wish support and work well on balance, latias can give healing wish support for more offensively inclined teams.
-Good on Hyperoffensive and Balanced teams for the type coverage, power, and speed it provides.You can change "hyper offensive" teams to just offensive teams in general.
If Keldeo does not have Hidden Power Ground, a Ground type is extremely helpful for defeating Mollux and Plasmanta.This last sentence is redundant, you're already telling the user to use ground types. It can be removed. Alternatively, you could change the sentence to emphasize the importance of Ground types: "This is especially true if Keldeo is lacking Hidden Power Ground."
-Offensive Grass or Electric types like Necturna, Serperior, or Plasmanta are helpful because Keldeo has great difficulty getting through bluky Waters. Plasmanta is especially helpful thanks to Storm Drain. But Keldeo resists water, so Plasmanta doesn't need a special mention.

for every set there should be a mention of pursuit trappers in team options, ttar, colo, sharp, zor, gross are all great at removing the bulky psychics that wall keldeo

Moves
========
-Scald is a tool for spreading misery to the foe, having the ability to burn Pokemon mid-sweep thanks to Choice Scarf. In addition, it is safer for cleaning up remaining opponents than Hydro Pump thanks to its higher accuracy.
-Secret Sword is great type coverage and Chansey's worst nightmare.Again, hits specially bulky Pokemon, not just Chansey
-Hydro Pump does more damage to opponents if Scald's burn chance and reliable accuracy are not needed.List the things that Hydro Pump really needs to hit, like the Charizard formes, and Aurumoth.
-Hidden Power Ground is, as usual, the first line of defense against Mollux and Plasmanta. first line of defense? it's an offensive mon, reword it to be more offensive than defensive.
-Icy Wind is a decent option if Keldeo's final act is to slow the opponent for its team or if a switch to Altaria or Dragonite is predicted.
-Hidden Power Electric is primarily for bulky Waters, but it can also help against Flying types thanks to the Speed boost. Move this to Other Options.

Set Details
========
It would also be slower than a maximum Speed Pokemon with Choice Scarf with 95 Base Speed or higher (for example, Garchomp and Kyurem-Black) you don't need to give exampls for this one, its apparent that you run max speed on choice scarf to take advantage of the speed boost
-EVs maximize Speed and damage output.
-Choice Scarf allows Keldeo to outspeed more opponents, several of which would defeat it otherwise.Mention specific sweepers that Keldeo outspeeds with Scarf: Caw, Char-X, Scarf Mollux...

Usage Tips
========
-Most effective late game, when Keldeo stoppers have been removed, especially Talonflame.mention how well it cleans weakened teams here.

========

Moves
========

Set Details
========
-Timid, as always, allows Keldeo to outspeed more foes (like Gliscor, Volkraken, and Kyurem-Black).
-EVs allow Keldeo to outspeed opponents with lower Base Speed and no Choice Scarf and deal a lot of damage.Remove the choice scarf mention, it's fairly obvious that this Keldeo set will not outspeed any scarf users.

Usage Tips
========
-Defeat Psyshock users and Talonflame before sending out Keldeo, as they will prevent it from reaching its final form if Keldeo has no Substitute up.Examples of Psyshock users? Also need to mention removing Unaware users.
-Take opportunities to set up Substitute, as it is a necessity for taking out faster Pokemon and makes it safer to use Calm Mind.
-Helpful on Hyperoffensive and Balanced teams for its ability to stop opponents with Substitute and STAB coverage.
Keldeo should be setting up on passive mons: chansey, sable, pyroak, etc.

Team Options
========
Mention flying types, who remove Serperior, Pyroak, etc.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
-Calm Mind + 3 Attacks can be used, but its power is not as great as the AOA, cannot outspeed as much as Choice Scarf Keldeo, and cannot set up as well as CM + Substitute
-Hidden Power Flying can help punish Mega Venusaur and Necturnaon the switch in, but it isn't as powerful against most things as Scald/Hydro Pump or Secret Sword
-Hidden Power Bug defeats Celebi, but Celebi is rare in CAP (thanks Colossoil!)
- Taunt helps pressure walls and stops stuff from statusing it / setting up hazards.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Waters**: There isn't much to say besides that the likes of Manaphy, Slowbro, Krilowatt, and Rotom-W are too bulky for it to defeat unboosted (allowing Manaphy to set up)None of these, except Slowbro, can switch into Choice Specs Secret Sword; mention how the Choice Specs set can bypass these threats.

**Grass Types**: Mega Venusaur walls it while Necturna, Celebi, and Serperior overpower it.
Mention how Serperior cannot tank many attacks such as Icy Wind or Secret Sword.

**Fairy Types**: Clefable, Mega Diancie, Mega Gardevoir, Sylveon, Altaria Mega, and Azumarill all easily defeat Keldeo. However, Diancie and Gardevoir cannot switch in.Altaria doesn't want to switch in either, because of Icy Wind.

**Flying Types**: Many Flying types (Talonflame, Tornadus-Therian) outspeed and defeat Keldeo. Togekiss survives Keldeo, Thunder Waves it, and destroys it with Air Slash. Talonflame can only check Keldeo, though.

**Electric Types**: Without Scarf, Scarf Magnezone outspeeds, as do Mega Manectric, Raikou, Thundurus, making them good revenge killers.Mention how these cannot switch into Keldeo.

**Psychic Types** Many powerful Psychics (Alakazam, Jirachi, Mega Metagross) outspeed Keldeo and defeat it, while Keldeo can do little in return. Most of these are checks that hate switching in on Scald, however, especially Jirachi and Metagross, which want to avoid being Burned. Mention again how these threats cannot switch into Keldeo. Lati twins also need to be mentioned, as they are the best of the Psychic checks.

[OVERVIEW]
Keldeo's great offensive typing allows it to easily beat common threats like Colossoil, Chansey, and Heatran with powerful Water-type and Fighting-type moves. This extends to most Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-type Pokemon in OU and CAP as well. Also, its typing is helpful defensively, as it resists common attacking types like Dark, Fire, and Ice. Keldeo's ability to use Secret Sword means that it can hit Pokemon with high Special Defense for physical damage without having to sacrifice its Special Attack. Two of Keldeo's greatest assets are its versatility and unpredictability, as it can be a potent wallbreaker with Choice Specs or Life Orb, a revenge killer and cleaner with Choice Scarf, or a boosting wincon with Substitute and Calm Mind. However, Keldeo is weak to important Pokemon like Tomohawk, Talonflame, Latios, Azumarill, Plasmanta, Mollux, Mega Altaria, Aurumoth, and Mega Venusaur.

Moves
========
Scald allows Keldeo to accurately deal a fair amount of damage and occasionally burn opponents. Secret Sword is a useful move that allows Keldeo to hit specially defensive Pokemon it would not otherwise be able to KO like Hoopa-U, Tyranitar in sand, and special walls like Chansey that would otherwise force you out. It also OHKOes Assault Vest Colossoil. Hydro Pump is used for dealing maximal damage against foes that do not resist it and defeating most things that it hits super effectively. It also allows Keldeo to get past bulky threats like Clefable and Jirachi, which Scald does not have enough power to do. Hidden Power Ground is essentially required, as it allows Keldeo to KO Mollux and Plasmanta instead of being hard countered by them, but Icy Wind can be a nice utility move that can stop Necturna and Mega Altaria from effectively setting up on Keldeo.

Set Details
========
A Timid nature is generally the best option for Keldeo because it allows Keldeo to outspeed as much as possible. Without it, Keldeo will be outsped by Pokemon with base 95 Speed and above that have 252 Speed EVs and a Speed-boosting nature. Without a Timid nature, it would be slower than potent Pokemon like Colossoil, Volkraken, Kyurem-B, Gliscor, Charizard, Garchomp, and Krilowatt. Choice Specs is the best option if you want Keldeo to be able to deal maximum damage at all costs, but Keldeo being unable to switch moves can be a problem due to the prevalence of Flying-type Pokemon, bulky Water-type Pokemon, and Fairies. Life Orb is an option that increases Keldeo's damage output while allowing it the freedom of switching moves, but it essentially puts a time limit on Keldeo. Expert Belt can let Keldeo bluff having a Choice item, luring in a potential threat before defeating it with another coverage move, which Life Orb cannot do due to its recoil damage.

Usage Tips
========
If you are using Choice Specs Keldeo, it becomes more helpful towards the end of the game, when many of the Pokemon that could have countered it have been KOed or weakened to the point that it can still sweep. However, it is still very helpful in the beginning and middle of the game, as few Pokemon can take its powerful attacks and many fear the chance of being burned by Scald. If your Keldeo has a Life Orb or an Expert Belt, you have more freedom to fight throughout the match due to your ability to switch moves without having to switch out. With an Expert Belt, your opponent might be tricked into thinking Keldeo is Choice locked, so if a Pokemon like Mollux or Plasmanta is sent in, you could take advantage of your foe's assumption by using Hidden Power Ground. Scald is generally the safest option early in the match, as even Keldeo counters like Mega Venusaur do not want to be burned.

Team Options
========
Keldeo generally performs best on offensive and balanced teams because of the type coverage, power, and Speed it provides. Because Keldeo cannot effectively fight Grass-type Pokemon like Venusaur, Serperior, and Celebi, as well as faster Pokemon, Talonflame can be a powerful ally with its prioritized Flying-type moves. Specially defensive Pokemon with Wish (or Healing Wish) support like Clefable, Jirachi, Latias, and Sylveon help compensate for Keldeo's weakness to common special attackers like Serperior, Raikou, Mega Alakazam, and Mega Diancie. Ground types like Colossoil, Garchomp, and Hippowdon can be used to deal with Electric-type checks to Keldeo. Also, Garchomp and Hippowdon check Talonflame and can set Stealth Rock. Ground-type teammates or other teammates with Ground-type moves are especially important if Keldeo lacks Hidden Power Ground. Colossoil and other Pursuit trappers like Tyranitar, Bisharp, Scizor, and Mega Metagross are great for removing Psychic types that wall Keldeo like Starmie, Latios, and Latias. Lastly, offensive Grass-type or Electric-type Pokemon like Necturna, Serperior, and Plasmanta are important because Keldeo is countered by bulky Water-type Pokemon.
