incorporated two typing cores actually. this is on an offensive team which the core is on. i'd post the full team but it's basically just the backbone of eviolite scyther + garbodor to take on hariyama / other threats to cores like ddance rhydon (garb) and a general second ground immunity (scyth) and they pivot all together pretty snazzily. but i don't feel like posting the full team so here's just this excerpt.

Aurorus @ Choice Specs

Rotom-Fan @ Expert Belt

Claydol @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature

- Earth Power
- Shadow Ball
- Psyshock

This core is based on Rotom-Fan taking down grass, water (cant do much to lanturn though), and fighting types (mainly thick fat hariyama so that Specs Aurorus can come in and spam Hyper Voice. Claydol is there for another way to beat fighting types and to remove stealth rocks which Aurorus and Rotom-Fan are weak to. Lanturn is a problem for this core, but Aurorus can outspeed and Freeze-Dry it, plus Claydol can do some decent damage with Earth Power. Samurott and Lilligant are also pretty big threats to this team if they set up, so using something like Vileplume with this core is a pretty good option.

Congratulations to unfixable, who wins this round with 7 votes to PursuitOfHappiny's 4 votes. Thanks to everyone else for contributing! From now on, the typical three-type cores will also be mixed in with type-spam cores for a little bit of variety, and this week's theme will be
spam! Psychic-type attacks are only resisted by Dark-, Steel-, and other Psychic-types, meaning that they can be very threatening once standard checks such as Skuntank and Steelix are worn-down or removed.

Submissions will continue until Saturday 23rd April at 12:00 GMT. Please submit 3-Pokemon cores: the third mon can be anything you want to support your Psychic core (even another Psychic-type if you want x_x). Here's some cool spoon-benders!
Beheeyem, Claydol, Duosion, Exeggutor, Grumpig, Jynx, Kadabra, Malamar, Mesprit, Mr. Mime, Musharna, Xatu,

Reserving Musharna + Mesprit + Primeape.

This is a double CM core with the goal of securing a sweep with Stored Power Musharna by removing its common checks and coounters. Stored Power Musharna is an amazing sweeper in the NU tier and is insanely hard to stop once it gets going, & Stored Power will be ridiculously powerful once all the boosts have been acquired. Offensive CM Mesprit helps Musharna by luring in and KOing Skuntank, one of Musharna's main counters, with a boosted Signal Beam. Finally, Primeape helps out both members of this core by simply eliminating every relevant Dark type to pave the way for Mesprit, and more notably for Musharna, to sweep late-game.

Musharna @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Barrier
- Moonlight
- Stored Power

Mesprit @ Life Orb / Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Signal Beam / Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Ground
- Calm Mind

Primeape @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

This is a really fun core I came up with, with the aim being each member luring in checks and counters for another member. CM Musharna is almost always a safe switch-in for Steelix, and with HP Ground, you take a huge chunk out of it, making it easier for Tauros to clean late game. HP Ground also lures in Skunk which Mesprit appreciates greatly. Next, Mesprit rounds out the Psychic-spam part of the core, providing rocks, a ground immunity, as well as a Malamar/Dark-type Lure with Signal Beam, and a Ferroseed lure with HP Fire which also helps in breaking down Steelix. Finally, Tauros finishes off the core, acting as the cleaner, with Iron Tail for Mega Audino and Rhydon, as well as Pursuit to surprise Rotom, Mismagius, Golurk, and Psychic-types.

Musharna @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Tauros (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Climb
- Earthquake
- Iron Tail
- Pursuit

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 88 HP / 252 SpA / 168 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- Signal Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]

MONO PINK SHINIES!!!

Kawaii Pink~ (Mesprit) @ Apicot Berry

EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Zen Headbutt
- Natural Gift
- Stealth Rock

Pedo Pink (Hypno) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Insomnia
Shiny: Yes

Rough Pink (Skuntank) (M) @ Black Sludge

Happiness: 8
EVs: 212 HP / 44 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Spray
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Defog

So Apicot Berry Mesprit basically gives it one time access to EQ. After SR, it's a roll to one shot Skuntank, but it's still a pretty nice lure.
Hypno is to Wish pass to it's other fairly bulky teammates, who unfortunately lack access to recovery. Hypno can also help with checking Malamar, which otherwise does a lot of work on this core.
Special Skuntank is so much fun to play around with. Normally they are max Speed, but I wanted to try physically defensive Skunk for once. Max Speed is probably better, I don't know. Also this is a Ghost and Dark switchin, so that's nice for it's teammates.

I think I saw Kiyo use this Mes once, so shoutouts to him.
Shoutouts to MARCU5theBAW5 for being a boss.
Shoutouts to Eternally for helping me remember it was Apicot Berry, lol.

Malamar @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Xatu @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- Giga Drain

Skuntank @ Expert Belt
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Sludge Bomb

This core is based on Malamar doing Malamar things such as sweeping teams with support from Xatu which can beat Weezing and has Giga Drain to beat Quag. Skuntank has Sludge Bomb>Defog for MAudino and because with Xatu I can prevent hazards most of the time, plus this core isn't that weak to hazards. Skuntank can also do some good damage to Quag with HP Grass especially if it switches in on Dark Pulse or Sludge Bomb.

Musharna @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Baton Pass
- Moonlight

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 240 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast

- Stealth Rock

Jynx @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Lovely Kiss

So, this core essentially provides a solid defensive backbone for a team, with musharna covering pretty much all opposing fighting types, while rhydon covers flying and normal types, while providing a solid win condition in either cm mush, or a choice scarved jynx with cm boosts passed to it. Jynx really is the star here, as pretty much the only safe switchin to it once it gets the boosts passed to it is grumpig, which is rather uncommon, and it can very easily clean teams once it gets the boosts. Of course, the core is not without its problems, as shiftry can easily abuse the core if it manages to switch in, grumpig can easily destroy the core, and klinklang can destroy the core given a safe chance to boost, so any team built with the core would need to keep these in mind.

Mesprit @ Apicot Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Natural Gift
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Zen Headbutt

Musharna @ Leftovers

Bold Nature
- Barrier
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
- Stored Power

Steelix @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 92 HP / 252 SpA / 164 Spe
Modest Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Dark Pulse
- Stealth Rock

Pretty straight forward core, the goal is to lure Skuntank with Mesprit to open up a Musharna sweep.

252 Atk Apicot Berry Mesprit Natural Gift (100 BP Ground) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Skuntank: 260-308 (74.9 - 88.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
232+ Atk Skuntank Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mesprit: 216-254 (71.7 - 84.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

With rocks up, you're effectively removing the 100% stop to Musharna very early in the game. Also it's noteworthy that sucker does not ohko you so you're p much guaranteed to get off the hit. Steelix helps remove/"lure" opposing Steelix that may try to trade rocks with you. Weakening or killing Steelix is p big as it can stop Musharna pretty easily with toxic

e: sorry to post about nat gift mesprit again but in my defense, i was the first to use it (to my knowledge)

-Long time no see Beheeyem, switchins for this thing on balanced teams was once click X, but im kinda few metas late with this core, and beheeyem is no longer as good as it used to be(It can work with nice support tho). I was confused what to post with Beheeyem but then i remembered i ran a lot of teams with it, and one of them had Xatu as hazard control and I think U-turn to pivot iirc so its not really a fully offensively oriented core but it worked nice and it was fun..
-I really cant remember the full team, but this core definitely requires scyther counter, dark pokemon counter and something that performs well vs offense while also having a pokemon to benefit from beheeyem wallbreak(Rip Sawk btw), a stealth rock user like steelix is cool, and Xatu was pretty good switchin to things like steelix/ferroseed that may try to setup rocks vs predicted psyshosk/psychic altough psychic is gonna destroy steelix. While some may be confused about Beheeyem moveset, its the best one it can run imo,EV spread allows it to outspeed base 50s like plume/geist/yama.
