All right, Honedge is the winner!

Scraggy @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 SpD / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Zen Headbutt
- Drain Punch

Honedge @ Eviolite
Level: 5
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 196 Atk / 116 Def / 140 SpD / 52 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Iron Head
- Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak

Time for Round 3. Remember to explain how your pokemon synergizes with Scarf Scraggy and Honedge.
It would be nice if someone would make a list of things our team still needs too.

So things we want so far:

-Hazards to help make Scraggy's cleaning easier
-A good fighting type check
-A burn absorber/Larv and Ponyta check, at the moment these and Drifloon (since something is likely going to let Drifloon in) could be problematic
-Potentially a second Fletchling check, as Overheat Fletchling can beat Honedge
-Probably a Vullaby check, Scraggy can break through it with SR support but we should try to have a midgame switchin
-Second Pawniard check, Scraggy doesn't really like losing scarf

Since at the moment we don't have a lot, this list is kind of short, but that's what strikes me immediately

What a beautiful face, I have found in this place
reserving pony

Ponyta @ Eviolite
Level: 5
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 76 Atk / 156 Def / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flame Charge

So this works as a soft fighting check and a fletch check at the same time with flame body. This also deals with foongus and other bulky grass types that are annoying to our team so far. It also kind of deals with other fire types and it has flame charge for diglett. I also wanted to do larvesta but I really hate that x4 weakness to sr even if its a better fight check. Also pony checks fletch better and is less weak to dig.

je suis d'ailleurs
ugh I came up with larvesta but I'm really lazy
so here's a set

Larvesta @ Eviolite

- U-turn
- Flare Blitz
- Will-O-Wisp
- Morning Sun

and some logs off of ps explaining my thought procces:

Staryu @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Level: 5
EVs: 196 SpA / 76 SpD / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin

Trust me.

Provides spin support and is a huge offensive threat. Checks Vullaby and pre-Unburden Drifloon quite nicely with TBolt, HPump hits hard as all fuck and this serves as a decent burn absorber since larv and 18 Spe Pony both get donged by this set.

Snubbull @ Berry Juice
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 36 Atk / 196 Def / 116 SpD / 116 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Thief
- Play Rough
- Earthquake
- Heal Bell

Heal Bell Snubull supports both of these mons brilliantly, checking MixFletch and curing them of any burns. It also provides an actual fighting type check, which this this core needs. With Thief Snubbs can mildly annoy Drifloon sometimes kinda-ish as well, if they misplay.

Koffing @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Def / 236 SpD
Bold Nature
- Fire Blast
- Sludge Bomb
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp

I've always felt that koffing was lowkey OP and would make a very good core with scraggy. Koffing is a hard check to fighting and fairy types and fairs well against fletchling. Scraggy helps patch up koffing's single weakness to psychic types and Scraggies immunity to the phsychic moves aimed at koffing could offer it free switch ins with good prediction.

Chinchou @ Berry Juice
Level: 5
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 76 HP / 212 Def / 152 SpA / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Ice Beam / Hydro Pump / Hidden Power Ground
- Heal Bell

Chinch helps remedy a lot of issues for the team, it gives us a another flying resist which is important for a team based on scarf scraggy when fletch is so common Volt switch gives us a way to grab momentum and get scraggy in safely in certain situations e.g on a ferroseed switch. Gives us a pony switch in which is important for a team that so far loses to it. Heal bell makes scraggy still useful if it were used early game and got burned or paralysed. Last move is filler. Of course scald needs no explanation most annoying move in the game the burn chance is good support for any team

Level: 5
Ability: Guts
EVs: 244 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SDef / 188 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

Larvitar is a great third for the team so far. It first off adds a fire-type/Drifloon (lacking hp fighting) counter and general status absorber. This is important given that both of our other mons dislike burns -- and in Scraggy's case the universal crippler known as Thunder Wave --, and Honedge being semi-hard countered by the Fire-Types of the tier. Larvitar also provides a secondary flying resist, which is always helpful, and, Larvitar, being a sweeper, adds a second win condition onto the team, a necessary part of almost every competitive team. Finally, the rocky lizard has good synergy with the existing duo both defensively and offensively, and It also notably answers to Poison-Types, which Scraggy has trouble with if they come in on the right prediction.

And if nothing else, Scraggy and Larvitar are both anthropomorphic reptilians, which is more than enough reason to me to add the latter.

Chinchou

Superpowerdude's logic is spot on here. Chinchou is a great mon for most teams, and it really shines here. Plus, as evinced by my submission, I feel any degree of an answer to floon is a necessary asset for a team like this one.
