Moves

- Stone Edge hits anything immune to Earthquake, especially Talonflame and Mega Pinsir, completing the EdgeQuake coverage
- Knock Off is used for the utility of item removal
- Explosion can be used to take down a huge threat to the team should you be unable to KO it with Earthquake, like a boosted Clefable
- Superpower deals with Mega Lopunny, Mega Gyarados, Levitate Stratagem, and Air Balloon users like Heatran and Excadrill
-Hidden Power Ice can be used to act as a lure to Garchomp and opposing Landorus-T

Set Details
========

- Maximum Attack and Speed and an Jolly nature make Landorus-T as fast as possible and allows it to hit hard
-With Choice Scarf, Landorus-T serves as a great revenge killer and offensive pivot, and can stop setup sweepers that have a boost like +1 Mega Altaria, +1 Mega Gyarados, and outpace other Choice Scarf users like Mollux and Heatran
- Intimidate can help soften physical attacks

Usage Tips
========

-This set can be used as a lead to scout the opponent and U-turn out
- Use U-turn on weakened Pokemon to finish them off, or on switch-ins to maintain momentum
-Be careful directly switching in due to the lack of defensive investment on this set
-Be careful locking into a move that can give free setup to a major threat

Team Options
========

-Wallbreakers like Kyurem-B, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Crucibelle, Volkraken, Volcanion, and Mega Heracross can help deal with bulky threats
-Hazard setters like Tomohawk, Klefki and Ferrothorn are needed to take advantage of switches and U-turn

[SET]
name: Double Dance
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Stone Edge
move 3: Swords Dance
move 4: Rock Polish
item: Soft Sand / Lum Berry
ability: Intimidate
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

- Earthquake is the main STAB to hit anything that does not resist it hard, OHKOing or severly damaging Mollux, Heatran, Plasmanta, and Naviathan
- Stone Edge hits anything immune to Earthquake, especially Talonflame and Mega Pinsir, completing the EdgeQuake coverage
- Swords Dance is used to set up and threaten bulky foes like Tomohawk, Clefable, Slowbro, and Hippowdon
- Rock Polish is used to deal with offensive teams better

Set Details
========

- Maximum Attack and Speed makes Landorus-T as fast as possible and allows it to hit hard, with its power further boosted by an Adamant nature
- Soft Sand makes Earthquake ridiculously powerful
- Lum Berry prevents burns and toxic damage from stopping a sweep
- Yache Berry is an option to avoid getting KO'd by Ice-type coverage moves, like Hidden Power Ice from Thundurus and Mega Manectric
- Leftovers can be used, but it is initially weak.

Usage Tips
========

- Use this set to punch holes in bulky foes like Clefable, Pyroak, and Naviathan to clear the way for a teammate to sweep
- Landorus-T can also sweep itself, what move to use depends on the opponent's team: Swords Dance for bulky teams, or Rock Polish for offensive teams
- Pokemon like defensive Cyclohm or Choice-locked Pokemon like Keldeo locked into Secret Sword are some examples of good Pokemon to set up on
- Make sure that priority users like Syclant, Weavile, and Azumarill are eliminated before trying to sweep
- Preserve Landorus-T for as long as possible until its checks and counters are weakened or removed
- Set up Rock Polish first before Swords Dance if setting up both moves

Team Options
========

-Wallbreakers like Kyurem-B, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Crucibelle, Volkraken, Volcanion, and Mega Heracross can help deal with bulky threats
-Fast Pokemon like Mega Lopunny, Keldeo, Stratagem, and Syclant appreciate Landorus-T breaking down bulky threats for them
-Hazard setters like Tomohawk, Klefki and Ferrothorn can help apply residual damage to break down Landorus-T's checks
-Fire-types like Heatran and Mollux help deal with Skarmory and Clefable
-Clefable appreciates Fire-types and Steel-types removed, and in return can absorb status if running Magic Guard

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

- A mixed set with Life Orb can catch Pokemon like Hippowdon, Gliscor, Ferrothorn, and Slowbro off-guard through moves like Hidden Power Fire, Hidden Power Ice, and Grass Knot
- A Focus Sash lead set can be used to catch checks like Ice-types trying to anti-lead Landorus-T, and can work with Explosion to block Rapid Spin and Defog
- Normal Gem Explosion can be used break down Rotom-W and Hippowdon to allow Pokemon like Talonflame and Mega Pinsir to sweep
- Gravity can be used as a lure for Skarmory and Rotom-W at the risk of making all moves a guranteed hit on Landorus-T
- Substitute paired up with a setup move like Bulk Up or Swords Dance can allow Landorus-T to dodge status, and can use Salac Berry to help with a late-game sweep

Checks & Counters
===================

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Tomohawk, Gliscor, Hippowdon, Ferrothorn, Mega Venusaur, Tangrowth, and Skarmory are examples of bulky Pokemon that can stomach hits from Landorus-T. However, a boosted Landorus-T has the potential to break through some of these Pokemon.

**Water-types**: Water-types like Keldeo, Slowbro, Arghonaut, Rotom-W, and Manaphy can force out Landorus-T with their STAB attacks.

**Ice-types**: Weavile, Syclant, and Kyurem-B can threaten Landorus-T with their STAB attacks, but with the exception of Syclant, they can be easily worn down through Stealth Rock damage.

**Revenge Killers**: Pokemon like Mega Manectric, Mega Latias, and Thundurus can revenge kill Landorus-T with Ice-type coverage moves.

So besides this set that I have currently written, I'm thinking of doing Choice Scarf, Double Dance, and Offensive Stealth Rock set, so I'd like some QC input on those.

Offensive SR should get a set. I really enjoy SR+SD+EdgeQuake with Soft Sand since it can put massive pressure on defensive Tomohawk lacking Haze (among other defensive mons); Lando-T just SDs up and Tomohawk risks eating a boosted EQ if it tries to Roost. U-turn, Explosion, and Knock Off are all respectable options as well depending on the team. Choice Scarf I could probably go either way on, Double Dance I've really only used in OU for suspect laddering, so I'll get back to you on those later. Those are just my current thoughts, anyway.

Choice Scarf is a worthy set, since it serves as a fantastic pivot for pokemon like Mega Garde who take advantage of the Pokemon who switch in to handle Landorus, like tomohawk. That, and it's a good revenge killer who can snipe pokemon such as +1 Altaria, +1 Mega Gyara, and scarf mollux/heatran.

Added Offensive SR and Choice Scarf sets, waiting for a decision on Double Dance.

Now for OO I'm thinking of Mixed Life Orb, Normal Gem Explosion, Gravity, SubBU, and SubSD as options. Any QC opinions?

Haven't heard any feedback so I implemented the proposed changes, if QC wants any of them removed then I'll remove them.

This is QC ready now.
