The WhiteQueen's Famous (and Unbiased) Power Rankings:
#1 Germany - Even if Germany were the eighth seed, I'd still rank them at number one. They have the most proven ORAS OU starting five this WCoP, and their other spots are all solid as well.
#2 Afrabs - Like Germany, every spot is occupied by a good to very good player. They have a few choke artists though, whose names I shall not mention to protect their sanity. Even so, they're still one of the favorites to win it all this year.
#3 US East - East is a like a perennial All-Star player. Nothing in Pokémon is ever guaranteed, but they're probably the surest bet to make the playoffs and has a legit chance to win it all every year.
#4 US West - West is like the overweight and unattractive sister of East that no one sober would wanna f*ck. As long as East is around, West will remain a trophy-less virgin.
#5 Italy - Gotta commend this team for going from being the longest running laughingstock in WCoP's history to making the playoffs this year. An addition of a few good players make all the difference eh?
#6 Asia - I don't remember the last time Asia was considered an underdog. We've been written off from the start of this tournament, but here we are one of the top 8 teams remaining. We're still in this to win, not only to make the playoffs.
#7 Spain - This team has like 3 solid spots; the rest is all suspect. I really don't see them causing much damage.
#8 Greece – Greece is now my favorite team this WCoP. Like other bandwagon fans, I've grown rather fond of team Greece and their player base. They've surprised and proved all doubters and haters wrong by doing as well as they did in Round 1. Let's see if they can continue their Cinderella run.
