Strict 72h Disqualification.
One warning per player. First warning (any tag after DQ interval is passed) resets the timer. If the player passes DQ interval a second time, DQ can be called, giving the player one hour to post (with full orders/pokemon, just saying "orders coming watch this space" doesn't suffice) after DQ is called to rescind it. If one hour passes, the player is DQ'd regardless of the ref posting or not. User calling DQ must tag DQ'd player. Referees please tag the combatants when you have finished your reffing. Players, if you know you're going to be away you better post a Leave of Absence BEFORE you leave, or give a very good reason in case of an emergency. DQ time won't pass during a valid LoA. I will say this only once: don't test me
New Rule: After 30 days, the DQ Interval will go to 48h.
60 days Time Limit: After 60 days I reserve the right to forcibly end any matches that don't seem like ending anytime soon. Said matches will be judged by the voters. This Time Limit ends at August 16th.

Matezoide
->

<Slowpoke> [Louie] (M)

Nature: Sassy (+Sp.Def, -Speed, -10% Evasion)

Type: Water/Psychic

Water: Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

About: Physically incapable of feeling any sort of pain, Louie is extremely confident in his fighting ability, despite constantly forgetting to breath due to his lazyness. Almost immediately after his capture, a wild Shellder jumped out of the water and attached itself to his tail. Since then, the pair has been unseparable for obvious reasons. He refers to his new partner as ''Wilson''.

Abilites:

Own Tempo (Passive):

This Pokemon moves at its own pace and when confused, it will never harm itself in confusion. If the Pokemon also has Tangled Feet, it will raise Accuracy by one (1) Stage.
Oblivious (Passive):

Regenerator (HA UNLOCKED, Passive):

Shell Armor (Mega, Passive):

This Pokemon's thick, bony outer shell prevents it from taking critical hits.

This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. <Ditto> (Ottis) [No Gender]

Nature: Quirky
Type: Normal

Normal: Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.

About: A Shiny Ditto, Ottis is a joker at heart. Although he means no harm, Ottis is unable to not change the opponent's form upon transforming, mostly in an (mostly sucessful) attempt at making other people laugh and annoy the enemy.
He bonded extremely well with Bosco, given their similar form, shininess and....''unique'' natures.

Abilities:
Limber (Passive
): This Pokemon’s body is well trained and immune to paralysis.
Imposter (HIDDEN ABILITY UNLOCKED, Passive): This Pokemon transforms into an opponent specified by the trainer immediately upon entry into battle.

<Tauros> [Aldebaran] (M)

Nature: Hasty (+15% Spe, +19% Acc, -1 Def)

Type: Normal

Normal: Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.

About: Aldebaran was the leader of a Tauros herd and aided the team at taking down a group of thieves. After this, he decided to accompany them as he always wanted to travel around the world, as he knew he wasnt necessary anymore, Aldebaran left the protection of the herd at the hands of his son. He can be describled as Brave, Wise and Strong. He knows a move called Great Horn, taught to him by his father (Rock Climb combo) and is currently training to master the Greater Horn (Double Edge combo), a move he created. Because of his relative old age, he is among the pokemon that gets along well with Twilight, Tara and Ernie.

Abilities:
Intimidate (Activated):

When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents.

Anger Point ( Passive):
When struck with a critical hit, this Pokemon becomes enraged and its Attack rises to maximum (Stage 6). However, its Attack will drop up to two (2) stages at the end of each round instead of one (1) stage until it reaches stage zero (0).

Sheer Force (HIDDEN ABILITY UNLOCKED, Toggle):

Default effect: None.

Alternative effect: This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect.

Mowtom

Gastrodon [Sluggy Slug] (F)

Like Mowtom himself, Sluggy Slug comes from Sinnoh, but from the opposite side of Mount Coronet. She prefers to stay relaxed and cheerful, even when taking repeated hits, but cannot stand it when someone mistakes her for a West Sea Gastrodon. Apparently the two groups have a long-seated rivalry. Who knew?

Type: Water / Ground
  • Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
  • Ground STAB; immune to Sandstorm. Ignores Arena restrictions on Dig and Seismic Attacks for Arenas in which any land mass exists, Evasive Digging reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.
Abilities: Sticky Hold / Storm Drain / Sand Force (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon's body is covered in a sticky substance that prevents item theft or swapping.
  • This Pokemon lures all water attacks to itself, altering their course away from partner Pokemon. It absorbs the water and increases its Special Attack by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round.
  • This Pokemon thrives in Sandstorm conditions, using the power of the swirling sand to augment its Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-typed attacks. Each of this Pokemon's Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-typed attacks will have the Base Attack Power increased by two (2). Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.

Escavalier [Kent] (M)

Kent began his life as a younger brother to Shelby, a worm who lives in a viola. However, Kent was forced to leave his brother, never to return. After experiencing significant physical changes (and possibly a trip through a time machine), he found Mowtom, and the two bonded quite well.

Type: Bug / Steel
  • Bug STAB; Adds an additional guaranteed attack on all multi-hit moves (does not include two hit moves) with a total hit cap of five (5).
  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
Abilities: Swarm / Shell Armor / Overcoat (Unlocked)
  • When this Pokemon's HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any Bug-typed attack is increased by 2. (eg Silver Wind goes from 6 to 8, X-Scissor from 8 to 10)
  • This Pokemon's thick, bony outer shell prevents it from taking critical hits.
  • This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. The Pokemon is also immune to "Powder" moves. (Full List: Cotton Spore, Poison Powder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore.) If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather, or powder attacks by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).

Honchkrow [Blackwing] (M)

One of Blackwing's ancestors lived in a world very different from this one. A world where everything was decided by a die roll, and humans could become as powerful as any other species, even using magic themselves. Blackwing doesn't know this, though; his attention wandered to the nearest shiny object each time it was explained to him.

Type: Dark / Flying
  • Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.
  • Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.
Abilities: Insomnia / Super Luck / Moxie (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon is immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker, it will wake up the next action. If a Pokemon with Insomnia also has Vital Spirit, its Attack and BRT are increased by one (1) Rank and its accuracy is raised by one (1) stage permanently.
  • This Pokemon's natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 50% of the time.
  • This Pokemon gets psyched after it earns a KO on an opposing Pokemon, increasing its Attack (and adjust the natural stage) by one (1) stage.

Gardevoir [Dr. Horrible] (M)

One day, Bianca came upon a Poke-theater troupe, performing Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. The role of Dr. Horrible was being played by a Ralts. Bianca sat and watched the production, and when it was done, approached the cast to convey her sincerest congratulations on a great show. The main characters were all so thrilled that a human liked their show that they agreed to go with Bianca as their trainer.

Type: Psychic / Fairy
  • Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
  • Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).
Abilities: Synchronize / Trace / Telepathy (Unlocked)
  • Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and when inflicted by the major status ailments Burn, Poison, or Paralysis, will share their status condition with the opponent. Pokemon will not be inflicted by status conditions to which they are immune by virtue of typing, ability, etc.
  • When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. When facing a pokemon with Trace, the Player sending out last must send out the pokemon without orders, in order to give the opponent the opportunity to trigger trace and any orders eventually given will be ignored until given the opportunity for trace to be triggered. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.
    • Command: Activate Trace (target ability) - 5 En - Replace Trace with the target Ability for six (6) actions. When the copied ability fades, the user regains Trace.
  • This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.

Mega Gardevoir [Dr. Horrible] (M)

As the Fairy gym qualifiers rapidly approached, Mowtom and Bianca realized that without a Gardevoirite, Dr. Horrible could not reach his full strength. They searched throughout various Poke-marts, but couldn't find one. Fed up with that state of affairs, Dr. Horrible stole some highly dangerous chemicals to create one himself. Surprisingly enough, it worked.

Abilities: Synchronize / Trace / Telepathy (Unlocked) / Pixilate (Mega)

Pokemon will not be inflicted by status conditions to which they are immune by virtue of typing, ability, etc.
  • When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. • This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.
  • By default, this Pokemon's Normal-type moves are Fairy-type moves, and have an additional two (2) BAP boost. When toggled, this Pokemon's Normal-type attacks have their BAP increased by two (2). Only Normal-typed moves changed by Pixilate receive this boost, and not all Fairy-type moves. If a Pokemon has been skill-swapped multiple abilities that change Normal-type attacks, the attacks become dual-typed, but the BAP boosts of the abilities do not stack.

Yo yo YO! Welcome folks to ASB Official Tourney Round 4 for the losers bracket. Today we got two battlers, on our right we have Mowtom, sending out Dr Horrible, the Gardevoir wearing an earring with a Gardevorite. To our left we see Matezoide, he responds back by sending out Aldebaran the Tauros wearing a Life Orb necklace. This match is so tense, both Aldebaren and Dr Horrible are intimidated of each other.

After Mowtom activates his mega stone, the round begins with Aldebaren coats his tails with iron and smacks Dr Horrible in the face. Gardevoir retaliates by sending a powerful shout pushing the Tauros back on his side of the field.
Aldebaren begins to run full steam ahead towards Dr Horrible. The Gardevoir sends out a Focus Blast towards his opponent but it missed his target and Aldebaren uses his iron-solid head to headbutt Dr Horrible.

Aldebaren smacks Gardevoir with another Iron Tail and Dr Horrible blast him back with a Hyper Voice.

Fun Damage race, sadly it doesn't go well for Mowtom, let's see how he will recover from this!

Dr Horrible attaches himself to Aldebaren and drains the life out of the Tauros and recovering his own. Aldebaren begins to glow yellow and performs his special move

Aledebaren needed to cool down after such a powerful attack. Dr Horrible takes advantage of this and shouts at the Tauros, damaging his ear drums even more.
Aldebaren shakes off the ringing in his ears and rams his horns into the Gardevoir, causing Dr Horrible to faint.

Matezoide gains first blood. But I'm sure Mowtom can even the score with Aldebaren on his last legs.

Fire Blast*3

If Fell Stinger A2 or A3 AND you have not Sandstorm, use Endure that action, but only activate this sub once.

Mow sends out Kent the Escavalier to replace his fallen Gardevoir and ready to grab the bull by the horns

How can he grab his horns? he doesn't even have hands!

Hush >3>

Aldebaren summons a massive blast of fire and sends it towards Kent. Kent dashes through the blast, enduring the flames in the process and knocks off Aldebaren's item.
Aldebaren gives Kent no time to rest and sends another Fire Blast at the Escavalier. Seeing that Escavalier is still standing, Aldebaren begins boiling with anger, but before he could do anything, Kent headbutts the Tauros, causing him to knock out.

Mowtom was able to even the score, but at the cost of Escavalier being scorched in the flames. Let's see who Mate sends in next!

@ Expert Belt

That is not my name.

You said i could pick!

Because i didnt think you would pick such a dumb name!

UUuunnn...can we leave this for later? You can let some steam off on that bird. You know Moonblast, right?

I am literaly the Moon Mon. What do you think?

Moonblast -> Ice Beam -> Moonblast

If Mean Look outside of a combination AND you arent taunted AND Honch isnt taunted, use Magic Coat that action, but only once.
If Taunt outside of a combination AND you arent taunted AND Honch isnt taunted, use Magic Coat that action, but only once
If Thunder-Wave outside of a combination AND you arent taunted AND Honch inst taunted AND Honch isnt paralysed AND you arent paralysed AND Honch is not to use Psycho Shift A2 or A3, THEN use Magic Coat that action, but only once.
