Mr Heetloof's Magical Hype Stop

Field Type = Neutral
Complexity = Moderate

Here at the magical type shop, Mr. Heefloot sells many strange and mystical devices. Within these seemingly ordinary devices, a great power is contained, so great that it is even capable of changing the types of Pokemon! For a meager price of less than nothing, Mr.Heefloot is glad to rent these items out to budding trainers for the duration of a battle in his station. He just loves seeing small creatures crushed by Shieldons! The station's interior is cylindrical, with contained pockets of grass and a pond curving along with the shape of the ship, so there are no move restrictions. Gravity is maintained with centrifugal force, and the ship is stabilized to allow seismic attacks. Because of the way gravity works, Pokemon and people can walk along the entire cylinder.

The arena is nothing special, but Mr.Heefloot will gladly give one of his precious seventeen gadgets away to a Pokemon at the start of a battle, adding an additional type to them! Types are stackable (eg. Conkeldurr can use a Planet Buster to become Fighting/Fighting for double STAB bonuses/weaknesses) Only one of each item can be attached per battle, and they do not take up the regular hold item a Pokemon usually has.

ZhengTann

Starmie - Charla (U)

Charla is Wendy's closest friend and confidante since Daycare. Witty, and quick to learn the ways of the world, Charla did not trust Zheng at first sight, naturally, and disapproves of Natsu and Gray's loud brawls every other minute they were together. Charla looks out for Wendy, not afraid to stand up to bigger, meaner Pokemons, and its that precise quality she sees in Zheng's group that warms her up to the team. Charla is very touchy, resisting most physical contacts except with Wendy, retaliating with swift hit-and-run tactics whenever approached thus.

The sudden disappearance of Wendy as soon as the monastery is founded shook Charla up. But, the resulting search finally convinced her that her best friend is no longer the helpless, naive pup of the past. She still watches over Wendy, though, and she looks forward into their shared future in the family with a bright hope - so long as her eyes don't roll at the antics of the boys.

Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)

Type:
Water type: Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from to 5 per action.

Psychic type: Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Illuminate
Type: Toggle
This Pokemon emits a continuous light that brightens the environment and makes it easier for all Pokemon to see. While this ability is active, any darkened or twilight state in the battle is negated and all moves used by any Pokemon (friend or foe, or itself) have their accuracy increased by 10% (flat). Multiple Illuminates do not stack. (Command: Enable/Disable Illuminate)

Ability 2: Natural Cure
Type: Passive
This Pokemon’s body has the ability to heal itself of status afflictions over time, it goes into effect six (6) actions after being inflicted with a status. In switch battles, this Pokemon heals all status effects when switched out.

Ability 3: Analytic (DW Unlocked)
Type: Passive
If this Pokemon attacks after its target during an action, its attacks have two (2) more Base Attack Power.

Camerupt - Elfman (M)

"Hey mon," is probably Elfman's QOTD, all day, everyday. His easy-going attitude is reflective of his species' nature - slowly pacing on with the simple pleasures of daily life. Or so it seems. Elfman is as stubborn as they come - in fact, he got into a tussle with Natsu just because they wanted to cross the same (outer) side of the ledge. It took Gray's help to wrestle him down (a fact all but Gray is unhappy about) but Zheng's capture brought him into the family. Being slow to anger doesn't mean Elfman is slow on the uptake, but it does mean that he's slow to cooldown after he gets really riled up.

Having a family to be with changes Elfman - he is becoming more and more a stolid guardian than a laid-back jock. Steadfast to the point of tactless, he will not give way if he feels that his family is threatened. He is especially protective of Mirajane, and will often go out of his way to help her in any way perceived possible.

Being able to mega-evolve is something Elfman cherish. For one thing, he actually can take life at a slower pace because of that. For another, he punched harder, meaning he can force his opponents to dance for him, per se, but eventually they'll have to duke it out like "real mons" if they want to win.

Nature: Quiet (+1 SpAtk, -15% Speed, -10% evasion)

Type:
Fire type: Fire STAB; immune to burn status.

Ground type: Ground STAB; immune to Sandstorm. Ignores Arena restrictions on Dig and Seismic Attacks for Arenas in which any land mass exists, Evasive Digging reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Magma Armour
Type: Passive
Elfman has a strong, heated armor that makes it incapable of being frozen. His armor also reduces the Base Attack Power of all incoming attacks by one (1).

Ability 2: Solid Rock
Type: Passive
Elfman’s solid body and durable constitution causes the Base Attack Power of incoming super-effective attacks to be reduced by two (2).

Ability 3: Anger Point (DW Unlocked)
Type: Passive
When struck with a critical hit, Elfman becomes enraged and its Attack rises to maximum (Stage 6). However, his Attack will drop up to two (2) stages at the end of each round instead of one (1) stage until it reaches the Pokemon's natural Attack stage. Critical hits from self-targeting moves do not activate Anger Point.

Ability 4: Sheer Force (Mega-Evo)
At default, Elfman energizes all his attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). That way, the Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.

Honchkrow – Gajeel (M)

Gajeel is rather different, compared to the rest of the lot - probably his dark instincts gave him a bit of a "lone wolf" attitude. Efficient in his ways, smart in his pose, Gajeel would have a hard time fitting in - except that the girls are incredibly forgiving, and while the guys wouldn't hesitate bringing on a throwdown (save for Elfman, who repaid his indifference with barely a shrug), they never keep past grudges. Its what drove Gajeel to approach Zheng after many days of stalking them - eating, living, fighting with the affectionate way only siblings might have had. He is no slouch either - holding his own even against Erza is no small feat in the family.

Having treasure-hunted a Dusk Stone, Gajeel spent some days learning how to learn the arts native to his species, guarded by Pantherlily in the progress. The transformation itself is painful, but having endured it, something seems... both more and less in him now. When Zheng found out about his sudden bursts of suppressed emotions, it can only be attributed to Gajeel's efforts. Seeing it as only the results of his evolution, Zheng did nothing else but allow him to discover this new path, mostly on his own. What Zheng didn't know though, was that the lads have secretly form an agreement - to take turns watch over Gajeel whenever he had one of his bursts.

Nature: Mild (+1 SpA, -1 Def)

Type:
Dark type: Dark STAB; ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.

Flying type: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Insomnia
Type: Passive
This Pokemon is immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker, it will wake up the next action.

Ability 2: Super Luck
Type: Passive
This Pokemon’s natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 25% of the time.

Ability 3: Moxie (DW Unlocked)
Type: Passive
This Pokemon gets psyched after it earns a KO on an opposing Pokemon, increasing its attack by one (1) stage. This boost is maintained at the end of each round.

Koneko Toujou, "Hellcat" - Absol (F)

Known as the rare, unwanted Disaster Pokemon, and a descendant of Lou's Absol - whose Trainer was gone missing for too long, with disquieting rumours, Koneko was not welcomed in the ASB community. Even the shelter shunned her, for fear of attracting ill luck. Most veteran Trainers do not share the superstition, but her small form, frailer than even most of her kind made most hesitate to take her in, until Tanner found her. She is scarred by the treatment from those around her, and is very reluctant to open up to anyone. Rias is the first to be able to touch her without her shying away, and it seems Tanner is making some slight progress.

Koneko remained carefully distant from everyone around her, but she remains loyally by Rias' side. For one thing, she has nowhere else to go if she leaves Rias' peerage, and for another, being with them for so long had her coming to see them closer to family more than anything. She still thinks Issei is a pervert, and occasionally knocks him to his place whenever he has lecherous thoughts - something she can easily detect in him.

Nature: Modest (+SpAtk, -Atk) - also very timid

Type:
Dark type: Dark STAB; Koneko is very serious about putting lechers in their right place. She ignores Attract and Confusion status entirely when using her natural Dark-type damaging and non-damaging attacks.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Pressure
Type: Passive
Koneko's quiet, tense, presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at her costs the attacking Pokemon two (2) more energy to perform.

Ability 2: Super Luck
Type: Passive
Koneko can manipulate her aura to increase his critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 50% of the time.

Ability 3: Justified (Hidden)
Type: Passive
Koneko's touki reacts to similarly dark energies. When hit by a Dark-type move, Koneko's attack will increase by one (1) stage. A boost gained this way will be maintained at the end of each round.

Ability 4: Magic Bounce (Mega-Evo only)
Type: Passive
In Mega-Evolution forme, Koneko can manipulate the dark senki to ward off non-damaging attacks as soon as they are launched, reflecting them back at the user.

Yuuto Kiba, "Holy Demonic Swordsman" - Gallade (M)

A Ralts whose friends have been swept away by an unnatural rainstorm, Yuuto is the only survivor - saved by Rias. Captured by Tanner, he is originally unwilling to be forced into Rias' peerage, but Erza, Zheng's Stratagem, is the first to give him a channel for his purpose - the art of sword-fighting and the ways to become stronger. He follows after Erza as a pupil after a mentor, learning how to fight with both mind and blade, while staying beside Rias for another shot at a new life. Still, he cannot forget his past - how a Tornadus and a Thundurus had destroyed his friends and home.

He is pretty much the male counterpart to Akeno, a gentlemanly Knight who only draws his blades when provoked. Issei's arrival finally meant he has another male to spar and talk with, and despite their differences, they befriended each other with a common oath to always protect the females in Rias' peerage.

Nature: Impish (+Def, -SpAtk) - sparklingly charming and polite, but devoted inside

Type:
Psychic type: Psychic STAB; Yuuto's determination means he can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank.
Fighting type: Fighting STAB: Yuuto's techniques allow him to ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Steadfast
Type: Passive
If Yuuto is out-flinched, he puts on a burst of extra Speed by one (1) stage, maintained at the end of each round.

Ability 2: Justified (Unlocked)
Type: Trigger
Yuuto's holy demonic swords react to dark energy, invigorating their honed edges. When hit by a Dark-type move, Yuuto's attack will increase by one (1) stage, maintained at the end of each round.

Ability 3: Inner Focus (Mega-Evo only)
Type: Passive
When an opponent attempts to flinch Yuuto, he would parry the flinching effects and continue his attacks. If Steadfast is also present, it activates.

A forbidden right arm sealed by magic. Whosoever breaks the seal will know the power of the ancient weapon of destruction.

Nature: Quiet (+SpAtk, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion) - A golem's arm has no definite personality

Type:
Rock type: Rock STAB; Adds an additional level of Priority (+0 to +1, +3 to +4 etc.) on naturally occurring level-up, egg, tutor, or TM attacks that increase only defense, special defense, or prevent damage (Full list: Acid Armor, Amnesia, Barrier, Defense Curl, Detect, Quick Guard, Harden, Iron Defense, Light Screen, Reflect, Skull Bash, Stockpile, Wide Guard, Withdraw). Reduced damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm, immune to Sandstorm damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Rock attacks requiring an external rock source.

Grass type: Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed, Worry Seed, and all "Powder" based attacks (Poisonpowder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore). Unable to have Petal Dance disrupted by oncoming damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Grass attacks requiring an external grass source. Bloom Command.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Suction Cups
Type: Passive
Lileep has sticky suction cups that anchor down to prevent it from being moved by Roar or Whirlwind. It will hold its ground against Dragon Tail and Circle Throw and will not be forced out in a switch battle.

Ability 2: Storm Drain (unlocked)
Type: Passive
This Pokemon lures all water attacks to itself, altering their course away from partner Pokemon. It absorbs the water and increases its Special Attack by one (1) stage. If this ability was triggered by an opponent's attack, the natural stage is adjusted.

The station kicks into gear as the arena shakes with the combat inside. Yuuto Kiba leads by waiting patiently for an opportunity, as Homing flies towards the center of the station, hovering equally between all of the surfaces, locking a Hurricane into Yuuto and dealing tremendous damage! Charla takes advantage of the bird's stacked Flying weaknesses, and shoots an Ice Beam that chills the Pidgeot to the bone! Alpha 5 takes in pursuit, shooting a Thunderbolt boosted by its chip, and sends energy through the Starmie's core. Suddenly, Yuuto dives back in, and pushes Theresa out of the way, using its Reflect for itself and its teammates!

Koneko leaps into the air, striking Homing's cold wounds directly, before pushing off of the other side and striking with a blazing fast Sucker Punch! As the Pidgeot summons a sharp wind to pelt the opponent's team, Charla sends another ice beam onto the bird, weaving through the wind and freezing the bird to the ceiling! Homing's out of the match, but Theresa and Alpha 5 aren't done, and they fire off a Shadow Ball and a Thunderbolt to wreak havoc on ZT's team. Yuuto, chivalrous as ever, helps out his ally by healing Charla's cracked core, giving it the energy to move on.

It seems the toys are doing exactly what they intended! Good, now we don't need to keep up with those waivers...

Elfman rises into the air as he changes forme, and re-appears in a dazzling light, as Mega Camerupt! ... He doesn't quite know how to get back down though, so he just prepares himself to launch attacks. Meanwhile, Gogma-arm absorbs a candy bar with its appendages, absorbing the nutrients to power itself! Theresa prepares a wide barrier to protect its allies, in fear of the powerful Gogmagog's attacks, but the Cradily pierces through it with ancient powers! TT-Flame takes massive damage, and is thrown all over the arena by the team's assaults. Akela's squad tries to return the favor by beating away at Gogma-arm, but the fossil is proving to be much sturdier than the Mothim.

With Elfman propelling itself around the arena with bursts of flame, and TT-Flame being pummeled into unconsciousness, it seems to be awfully one sided. Can Akela pull shenanigans that turns this match around?
