There's a glitch regarding the Red Card and Destiny Bond in Doubles and maybe Triples. Assume that the opponent is holding a Red Card for one pokemon, then another pokemon on their team has Destiny bond. The pokemon uses Destiny bond, then you kill it with a spread move. The red card activates, and the pokemon that used the spread move switches out into another pokemon. Destiny bond activates, killing off the pokemon that used the spread move, but now the opponent can only attack the pokemon that didn't use the spread move, and not the pokemon that was switched out. Meanwhile, the person using the spread move cannot battle at all, as it only shows a 'Skip Turn' and a 'Go to last turn' button.

Hi. I was playing Balanced Hackmons and encountered a bug of some sort. I defeated the opposing players Chandelure, and they were able to send it out the next turn. It did not have the illusion ability, as both the Chandelures had been hit before fainting. Here is the replay of the battle: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-405845248. Thank you.
that was probably an illusion, seeing as you didnt attack the first one which wouldve broken the illusion

I see that now. I was assuming that the fainted pokemon with Illusion would show up fainted on the team list under the characters, not show the Chandelure fainted. Thanks for clarifying.

I knocked off my opponent's Garchomp's choice scarf, but it didn't say anything about the item being knocked off in the chat, and the Garchomp still was faster than my Latios that was on 349 speed. Also, when I hovered over the Garchomp it still said that it had an item.

Knock Off doesn't knock an item off if the Knock Off user faints due to Rough Skin/Iron Barbs/Rocky Helmet.

Hidden Power Ice on my Raikou randomly changed to Hidden Power Dark. I opened teambuilder after I won a match through a forfeit. Raikou was on the field at that point and the last move I clicked was Shadow Ball. I checked the difference in power between Volt Switch and TBolt, as I'd forgotten the numbers and wanted to see. My team was still open when I entered the next match, finding that my HP Ice was now HP Dark.

I feel like this happened to me before, but I chalked it up to me doing something wrong somewhere. I know for a fact I didn't change anything this time though, so it's definitely a bug.

The new anti-scouting replay feature for VGC '16 that blarajan helped get implemented is flawed / bugged; the feature is designed to remove replay searching ability from Showdown's database, but simply waiting until an opponent has left, unhiding the room, and resaving the replay makes it viewable again. Because this feature is intended to help stop scouting issues before Worlds, turning on /hideroom means that idiots who want to screw with people will notice you turning /hideroom on, intentionally wait until someone has left, and then save the replay anyway. This was tested both on the ladder and in challenges (though the latter should be less relevant scouting-wise). Here are screenshots:

I just tested, and it works fine for me.

/savereplay -> public replay
/hiddenroom
/savereplay -> replay is now private
/publicroom
/savereplay -> replay is still private

Edit: To be clear, you need to save a replay AT LEAST ONCE WHILE THE ROOM IS HIDDEN for the replay to be private.

Thanks for clarification. What that means is replay saving is necessary after every battle if one is paranoid, but this is still good to know about.

Yeah, you're right, it was a temporary solution.

I've updated with a fix: It's no longer possible for your opponent to make your battle public if you made it hidden, so replay saving is no longer necessary.

Heyo, very minor bug I noticed. I'm in the Overused room but the chatbox whenever I haven't typed anything displays "<- Youre About 2 Lose vs. OnFullTilt (use arrow keys) Lobby ->" even after I've typed and entered things in chat. For reference that guy was my previous opponent in a random battle. Then when I go to the regular general lobby in the next tab over it says "<- OverUsed (use arrow keys)" in the same box.

that just tells you which room the arrow key will get you. On a computer pressing < or > will go to the room in whichever direction arrow you pressed (the order of which is to the left or right is decided by the room tabs)

Whenever I try to use a team with Shiny Zygarde I get the following message

- Zygarde is only obtainable via event - it needs to match one of its events.

That is just a general term for a pokemon that is illegal in game by any means.

On another note, Shiny Arceus should not be able to learn defog as it cannot be legally shiny in gen 4 (the only place where it can learn defog) http://prntscr.com/c0e96w and replay: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-409343699 For some reason though, when using gen 5 sprites, only the Arceus on my side was shiny, while gen 6 sprites were both shiny (didn't get a screenshot of that side, but it is visible in the replay) http://prntscr.com/c0eenw
