[OVERVIEW]

**Fire**:

With a plethora of coverage moves and a great Attack stat, Entei is easily one of the best Fire-type wallbreakers. To complement its Attack, Entei gets Sacred Fire, which has a 50% chance to burn the foe. Thanks to its base 100 Speed, Entei can outspeed Pokemon such as Hoopa-U, Diggersby, Nidoking, and Heracross. However, Entei can not utilize it to its full extent, as it is forced to run an Adamant nature when using Extreme Speed; this prevents Entei from Speed tying with other base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Kyurem-B, Landorus-T, and Excadrill. Entei makes up for this with its decent bulk, which lets it take non-super effective hits easily. Nevertheless, even with its great offensive stats, Entei is walled by a lot of physically bulky Pokemon. Entei is also weak to Stealth Rock, which can wear it down pretty quickly, and it has no form of recovery, which cripples its longevity even more. Furthermore, it provides no defensive synergy for its team.

Moves
========

Sacred Fire has a good chance to burn the foe, which is advantageous in lieu of Flare Blitz. Extreme Speed has priority over other moves, which is helpful for revenge killing weaker foes. Stone Edge lets Entei hit Flying-type Pokemon such as Dragonite, Zapdos, and Mega Charizard Y super effectively. Iron Head is used to beat Fairy-type Pokemon such as Mega Diancie and Clefable and Rock-type Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Omastar.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack EVs with an Adamant nature let Entei hit as hard as possible. Maximum Speed EVs are used to outspeed base 85 Speed Pokemon such as Nidoking and Heracross, as well as Speed tie with other neutral-natured base 100 Speed Pokemon. Life Orb can be used to deal heavy damage while allowing Entei to switch moves, although Entei then takes slight damage after every attacking move. Choice Band can be used as an alternative to Life Orb to OHKO bulkier Pokemon such as Diggersby and 2HKO Porygon2 after Stealth Rock at the cost of Entei losing the ability to switch moves.

Usage Tips
========

As Entei has both good coverage moves and a STAB attack that can wear down Pokemon quickly through a burn, it can be sent out at any given time. It can be used early-game to wallbreak and burn its checks for late-game. Entei's access to Extreme Speed means it can also be used as a late-game sweeper. Although Entei's decent bulk allows it to easily shrug off most non-super effective hits, it should avoid taking unnecessary damage, as it does not have a reliable form of recovery. Furthermore, Entei can easily get worn down through entry hazard damage, Life Orb recoil, and other forms of chip damage. It should be careful of being hit by status, as poison can make it difficult for Entei to wallbreak and will wear it down very fast. As Sacred Fire has a good chance to burn, it is pretty easy to spam, but one should be aware of its limited PP. Entei is especially good against Flying-type teams due to having access to Stone Edge in conjunction with Sacred Fire's chance to burn.

Team Options
========

Entei and Mega Charizard Y are good partners for each other, as Entei can wear down bulky specially defensive Pokemon such as Chansey, while Mega Charizard Y can take down bulky Water- and Ground-type Pokemon that usually wall Entei. Mega Charizard Y also sets up sun for Entei, which allows it to almost always OHKO Clefable with a Choice Band-boosted Sacred Fire and take Water-type attacks better. Mega Charizard Y can also run Defog to get rid of entry hazards for Entei, which, in conjunction with Life Orb recoil, can easily wear down Entei. Torkoal is a very reliable Rapid Spin user with the ability to set up its own Stealth Rock. Darmanitan and Entei work well together, as Darmanitan can wear down Pokemon easily, allowing Entei to KO them with Extreme Speed. Darmanitan can also pivot with U-turn to find opportunities to bring Entei in. Volcarona appreciates Entei's wallbreaking capability, as it can set up a sweep late-game. Infernape and Entei work well together, as Infernape can run Earthquake or Stone Edge, allowing Entei to use another move in place of Stone Edge or Bulldoze. Rotom-H is a good teammate, as it checks physically defensive Water-type Pokemon that Entei cannot defeat, such as Suicune and Slowbro. Rotom-H can also pivot with Volt Switch and find opportunities for Entei to switch in.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

**Fire**:

Entei can run Assault Vest as its item to take special hits easier, but it will be severely less powerful. Flare Blitz can be used over Iron Head or Stone Edge, but if it's used with Life Orb, the combined recoil will wear Entei down very easily. Bulldoze can be used over Stone Edge or Iron Head to hit Pokemon such as Heatran.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Fire**:

**Garchomp**: Garchomp can come into Entei's attacks and KO back with an Earthquake, although it fears getting burned by Sacred Fire.

**Mega Latias**: Mega Latias completely walls Entei and can stall out Sacred Fire and set up with Calm Mind.

**Bulky Water-types**: Physically bulky Water-type Pokemon such as Swampert, Slowbro, and Suicune can all easily take Entei's attacks and stall it out.

**Bulky Ground-types**: Bulky Ground-type Pokemon such as Hippodown and Gastrodon can shrug off a Sacred Fire from Entei and KO it.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Physically defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Porygon2, and Jellicent can wall Entei, though burns can annoy them.

** Revenge Killers**: As Entei cannot run a Speed-boosting nature, it is outpaced and revenge killed by many faster Pokemon such as Terrakion, Keldeo, Manaphy, and Landorus-T.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazard damage, Life Orb recoil, and poison can easily wear Entei down.

Overview:
- Entei should always use Extreme Speed, so saying "if" in regards to not being able to run Jolly is weird. It's fine to just say it has decent Speed, capable of outspeeding foes such as x and y. You could list something like Hoopa-U or Diggersby.
- Include that Sacred Fire has a great Base Power as well.
- Speaking of being forced to run Adamant, if you're going to make that a problem, give an example of something that it would have liked to outspeed. (Perhaps Kyurem-B)
- Not sure why you need to mention its ability here.
- Tie in its weakness to Stealth Rock to explain that it's easily worn down, in spite of its decent bulk.
- Furthermore, it also has no defensive synergy for the team.

Moves:
You need to give examples here
- For Stone Edge, perhaps list Dragonite or Mega Charizard Y
- For Iron Head, the only Fairy-type of note is Mega Diancie I think? For Rock-types, Tyranitar?
- About Bulldoze, I'm not really sure about this, but is hitting Heatran that big of a deal for Fire? It's not as if vs. Steel you have particular trouble, and vs. Fire, Flash Fire is hardly problematic. I'll yield to your experience though. If you agree, move to Other Options, if not keep it here. If there are other important targets for Bulldoze, it can stay of course, given that you add one more example.

Set Details:
- Could use examples for Choice Band here, like where it get KOes that Life Orb doesn't. (Maybe Diggersby, which is almost always OHKOed, and one more)
- Give an example for base 85 Speed Pokemon (Nidoking?)

Usage Tips:
- Mention that Sacred Fire's 50% burn chance makes it pretty easy to spam, but one should be careful of its PP.
- Be more specific with Entei's usage early on. It should be used to wallbreak and spread burns to cripple its checks for later.
- Entei should be careful of being hit by status, as being paralyzed can make it difficult to wallbreak and being poisoned will wear down Entei very fast.

Team Options:
- Include that Mega Charizard Y provides sun for Entei, which allows it to almost always OHKO even Clefable with a Choice Band Sacred Fire.
- It's also probably good to mention Defog for Mega Charizard Y?
- Rotom-H should be a good teammate, as it can check the Water-types such as Slowbro that Entei cannot defeat.

Other Options:
- I don't think Sacred Fire should ever be replaced tbh. I could see it replacing Iron Head, which only really hits Mega Diancie, which outspeeds Entei to OHKO it anyway.

Checks and Counters:
- Where you say status effects, just say Toxic poison, since burns obviously cannot affect Entei.
- Defensive Pokemon should be added here. The likes of Lanturn or Porygon2 can really mess with Entei, although Porygon2 hates being burned.
- I would consider adding Mega Latias in particular, which completely walls Entei and does whatever it wants in the meantime.

Good work, just add some details! QC 1/3

[OVERVIEW]
  • Mention that thanks to Sacred Fire's high chance to burn, even its checks should be wary of switching in because they might get 2HKOd after burn damage, or crippled.
  • Other than being weak to Stealth Rock it also has no access to recovery moves which cripples its longevity even more.
Usage Tips
  • Don't have anything to suggest in terms of quality, but you start pretty much every sentence with "Entei" which sounds weird. I assume you're going to change that when you write the analysis though.
Don't have anything else to add, Eien covered most of it.

Good job! QC 2/3

** Revenge Killers**: As Entei cannot run a Speed-boosting nature, it is outpaced and revenge killed by many Pokemon such as Terrakion, Keldeo, Manaphy, and Landorus-T.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazard damage, Life Orb recoil, and poison can easily wear Entei down.

[OVERVIEW]

**Fire**: (move your colon inside asterisks)

Entei is also weak to Stealth Rock, which can wear it down pretty easily quickly, and it has no form of recovery, which cripples its longevity even more. Furthermore, it provides no defensive synergy for its team.

Moves
========

Sacred Fire is Entei's preferred STAB move, as it has a good chance to burn the foe, which is advantageous in lieu of Flare Blitz. Extreme Speed has priority over other moves, which is good to helpful for revenge killing weaker foes. Stone Edge lets Entei hit Flying-type Pokemon like such as Dragonite, Zapdos, and Mega Charizard Y super effectively. Iron Head is used to beat Fairy-type Pokemon like such as Mega Diancie and Clefable and Rock-type Pokemon like such as Tyranitar and Omastar.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack EVs with an Adamant nature let Entei hit as hard as possible. Maximum Speed EVs are used to outspeed base 85 Speed Pokemon like such as Nidoking and Heracross, as well as Speed tie with other neutral-natured base 100 Speed Pokemon. Life Orb can be used to deal heavy damage while allowing Entei to switch moves, although Entei then takes slight damage after every attacking move. Choice Band can be used as an alternative to Life Orb to OHKO bulkier Pokemon like such as Diggersby and 2HKO Porygon2 after Stealth Rock at the cost of Entei losing the ability to switch moves.

Usage Tips
========

As Entei has both good coverage moves and a good STAB attack that can wear down Pokemon quickly through a burn, it can be sent out at any given time. It should be careful of being hit by status, as poison can make it difficult for Entei to wallbreak and poison will wear it down very fast. As Sacred Fire has a good chance to burn, it is pretty easy to spam, but one should be aware of its limited PP. Entei is especially good against Flying-type teams due to having access to Stone Edge in conjunction with Sacred Fire's chance to burn.

Team Options
========

Other Options
=============

**Fire**: (move your colon inside asterisks)

Entei can run Assault Vest as its item to take special hits easier, but it will be severely less powerful. Flare Blitz can be used over Iron Head or Stone Edge, but if it's used with Life Orb, the combined recoil will wear Entei down very easily. Bulldoze can be used over Stone Edge or Iron Head to hit Pokemon such as Heatran.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Fire**: (move your colons inside asterisks)

**Garchomp**: Garchomp can come into Entei's attacks and KO back with an Earthquake, although it fears getting burned from a by Sacred Fire.

**Bulky Ground-types**: Bulky Ground-type Pokemon like such as Hippodown and Gastrodon can shrug off a Sacred Fire from Entei and KO it.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Physically defensive Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Porygon2, and Jellicent can wall Entei, although burns can annoy them.

This is done baconbagon Shiba

I'm not sure about the colons being inside/outside the asterisks as one GP said to put them inside, and another GP check said to put them outside. If I could some confirmation on what to use, it'd be great.
