Moves
======

  • Draco Meteor is Hydreigon's most powerful Dragon-type STAB move dealing a lot of damage to nearly all Pokemon but at the cost of lowering its SpA stat, which Choice Specs covers
  • Dragon Pulse is Hydreigon's other Dragon-type STAB move dealing less damage than Draco Meteor but coming with no costs
  • Dark Pulse is Hydreigon's powerful Dark-type STAB move hitting Pokemon such as Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon such as Necromza and Gengar
  • Fire Blast is one of Hydreigon's most powerful coverage moves, hitting a wide variety of Pokemon such as Bug-, Grass-, Ice-, and Steel-types such as Pheromosa, Buzzwole, Ferrothorn, Weavile, and Bisharp
  • Flamethrower is the less powerful but more accurate version of Fire Blast, it is run for focusing on surefire hits than more power
  • Flash Cannon hits Hydreion's main enemies: Fairy-types, super effectively. These Pokemon include Azumarill and Clefable
Set Details
=======
  • Hydreigon utilizes the Chocie Specs to dish out as much power as it possibly can, dealing massive damage to nearly all Pokemon with it's Special Attack boosted
  • A Modest nature is most suited for Hydreigon, in conjunction with the Choice Specs, in order for it to deal as much damage as possible denting nearly every Pokemon
  • As stated above, with 252 SpA EVs, Hydreigon throws the hardest and most powerful special attacks it can possibly can
  • Hydreigon runs 112 Def EVs to be able resist physical Fairy-type moves, Ice-type moves or the very common Fighting-type moves such as Play Rough, Icicle Crash, and Drain Punch, respectively, to some extent.
  • Hydreigon runs 144 SpD EVs to be able to resist common special attacks thrown at it, such as Moonblast, Blizzard/Ice Beam, Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse, Focus Blast, and Bug Buzz.
  • Levitate is Hydreigon's only ability, it isn't as useful as other abilities, but it can at least protect Hydreigon from Ground-type moves
Usage Tips
=======
  • Hydreigon can be used against Pokemon that would be OHKOed by its Choice Specs boosted moves, or Pokemon it can easily handle, such as Ferrothorn and Necromza.
  • It should be able to switch out frequently due to it being choice-locked, it should also be switched out if a Pokemon that checks it is switched in as most of the time, it's locked move won't be able to do anything and it would just be cannon fodder
  • Hydreigon should also beware of Pokemon that completely wall it's chosen move, so switching expectations are important
Team Options
=========
  • If choice-locked on another move that isn't Flash Cannon, Poison- or Steel-type Pokemon are much appreciated to deal with opposing Fairy-types, such as Mega Metagross and Salazzle
  • Anything that can deal with Hydreigon's other checks is also much appreciated as choice-locked moves may deal little damage against these checks, good teammates in relation to this are Weavile, Volcarona, Mega Venusaur, and Clefable
  • Momentum users are also very good partners to Hydreigon as it can bring in Hydreigon safely into battle and it would be able to expect and choose it's move that is going to be choice-locked, examples of these Pokemon include Rotom-W and Landorus-T
  • Clerics and healers such as Sylveon can also be of use to Hydreigon as they can improve it's longevity and capabilities in battle
  • Entry hazard support also is helpful as it makes Hydreigon's job easier to OHKO nearly every Pokemon; Hydreigon's longevity is also important so the removal of entry hazards on your team's side is improtant to ensure Hydreigon's OHKOing capabilities, perfect Pokemon for this spot is Excadrill and Starmie

This analysis has a lot of issues, namely the EV Spread, the explanation for move selections, and the information presented in the analysis as a whole. This analysis displays lack of metagame knowledge and it is not something we want.
