POST YOUR REPLAYS​
SPECIFIC RULES
  • This is a standard SM Doubles OU tournament
  • This tournament will be Double Elimination
  • Rounds will be Best of Three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!
  • To encourage the development of the metagame, and so that everyone is on an even playing field, ALL MATCHES MUST HAVE REPLAYS RECORDED. If neither player posts replays of the match, both players will suffer an automatic game loss. (If you were in losers' when you played, you are both out. If you were in winners', the winner is in losers' and the loser is out.)
  • If you are found signing up under more than one alt, you will be banned from circuit events for life.
  • Activity calls will be made by me with probably the neutral assistance from a TD, flips will be made on PS!
  • In the event that something is added to or removed from the Doubles OU metagame in the middle of a round, that change will be in effect starting the next round. Doubles Ubers is available as a challenge option if something is banned mid-round.
  • Don't be a dick. If I found out you harassed your opponent, or were overly obnoxious or rude, I would have literally 0 problems banning you from future events.
Standard Rules and Clauses
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same PokeDex number on his team.
  • Evasion Clause: The moves Double Team and Minimize are banned. (No other evasion boosting things are banned).
  • OHKO Clause: The moves Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, and Fissure are banned.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Anything capable of intentionally creating an endless battle is banned.
  • HypnoGravity Clause: The move Gravity is banned with all moves that can induce Sleep. I am not 100% sure if this is fully implemented on Pokemon Showdown!, so if it is not and you are found to be using it you will be disqualified and banned from future Circuit events.
  • Uber Clause: Anything that appears on Doubles OU' banlist is banned. This is the banlist for Doubles OU:


HOW TO SCHEDULE

Since we had 165 signups, unfortunately 37 of you had to be cut so if your name isn't on here and you signed up, you are a sub. The first 80 were guaranteed to get in while 48 were chosen randomly out of the remaining 85. Due to the high amount of subs, I will be checking for activity on Thursday and Saturday so make sure you're in contact by then.

Hi, sorry I messed up. I'm gonna go ahead and clear this up so there isn't any confusion later on but deoxys speed asked for activity on Velvet Blood. Velvet blood missed the initial scheduled time by 2 hours on saturday and does not re-contact until sunday night (deo was on all day). Deo is also pretty unavailable until the weekends so instead of an extension, I'll be giving the act win to deo speed from round 5.

Hi posted on my opps vm like thursdayish, he hasnt responded at all and I wont be able to play too much in these two upcoming days so requesting act win if we dont get that done

(this is called too early, 3 days before the deadline, you vm'd friday night my time, and you called activity one day later..

DaAwesomeDude1 why did my opponent get aw? im active most of the days and i answered vms (one day later, was busy on friday~saturday), and we couldn't schedule because of timezones... also i had to wait 2 days and you didn't give an extension.

Requesting extension for my match against Zorodark. He's out for the week and I'm out for the weekend. So we're going to have lots of difficultly trying to get something going before the 13th.

Sorry, I didn't have access to a computer so I couldn't respond til now. Please contact each other earlier next time instead of a couple of days before the deadline so these things don't happen again. I'll give you two an extension but the deadline will still be on thursday. tagging Elegyy. deoxys speed sorry for the inconvenience

hi daddy so the absolute only way i can play miyoka is if we play friday cuz i get off early then and i have a lot of good boy points saved up from eating my tendies all frugal-like so if we could do that I promise I'll make you proud

edit also man @ my opp cuz i forgot his name yo i requested an act win a whole TWO days later what you on mang and I only requested in the event that we aint get it done

Lost in 2 ggs against miltankmilk, wp.

It was pretty evident I didn't really have much of a grasp on how to play doubles in my games (not to take anything away from my opponents - miltankmilk is very good), but it was still a really fun time playing this tier - there are a lot of cool things and the general dynamic is intriguing to someone who has played singles only for the past five years. Thanks to Laga for the teams and good luck to everyone left in the tour :o
