Once the matchups for the round are up, you may PM me your predictions for who will win each battle.
You may also bet 5 extra CC on individual battles. Rewards for betting correctly are covered in the Prizes section of this post.
All predictions must be in before the first battle goes up. Any predictions sent after that will be ignored. Deadline to send in Round 1 predictions to me is Saturday 24th at 4PM CST. That's 9am Sunday AEDST for me.
Each participant's predictions will be posted in this thread once the first match is posted.
Prizes
The winner gets 1/2 of the entry pool converted into UC in the ratio of 5CC:3UC and rounded up, 2nd place takes 1/3 of the entry pool converted into UC, and 3rd place takes 1/6 of the entry pool converted into UC.
In the event of a tie, the tied players will average out the amounts for their positions (so for example if there's a tie for first, both get 5/12 of the pool. The next gets 1/6).
If the winner gets at least 75% of their predictions correct, they will win a bonus prize equal to an additional 1/2 of the entry pool converted into UC. This does not detract from the prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
In case of a tie for 1st and both have at least 75% correct predictions, whoever has made the most correct bets wins the bonus prize. If they are still tied after that, both participants win the bonus prize.
If you make a correct bet, you get an even share of the pool submitted by all people who betted on that battle, converted into UC in the ratio of 5CC:3UC and rounded up.

The first battle has gone up, meaning that the deadline for predictions has passed. Unfortunately, that means that Gale Wing Srock, JJayyFeather, and Lucy Heartfillia may not participate in this round, as they had not sent in predictions.
