[OVERVIEW]

Remoraid is able to fit on offensive teams functioning as a revenge killer and cleaner, which is helped by great mixed attacking stats, a respectable 17 Speed tier, and a vast movepool. Water Spout is Remoraid's main selling point, as its high Base Power at full health allows Remoraid to significantly damage the opposition. Remoraid has access to coverage options such as Fire Blast to hit Grass-types and Bullet Seed for Water-types, which is boosted by Hustle. However, Hustle lowers the accuracy of physical moves, leading to unfortunate misses when using Bullet Seed. Additionally, Remoraid has terrible bulk, leaving it easily revenge killed by priority attacks such as Mach Punch and Sucker Punch. Lastly, it faces competition from other special Water-types such as Chinchou and Frillish, as they provide defensive utility and are more reliable.

Moves
========

Water Spout is Remoraid's strongest STAB move when at full health at a whopping 150 Base Power, dealing significant damage to most Pokemon that don't resist it. Whenever Remoraid is below 75% of its maximum HP, it should use Hydro Pump, as Water Spout becomes weaker than it, though it does have a chance to miss. Fire Blast is used to hit the Grass-types that resist Water Spout, namely OHKOing Ferroseed. Bullet Seed is used to smack Water-types such as Staryu, Omanyte, and Kabuto and benefits from LC's multi-hit rolls, as it deals more damage than Seed Bomb usually.

Set Details
========

The Special Attack and Speed investment optimize Remoraid's offensive capabilities. Hustle is the ability of choice, as it boosts Remoraid's Attack stat by 1.5x, increasing Bullet Seed's damage output at the cost of its accuracy. A Naive nature boosts Speed without lowering the damage output of Bullet Seed. When paired with a Choice Scarf, Remoraid Speed ties with 17 Speed Choice Scarf users such as Mienfoo and Chinchou and outspeeds everything below them, making it easy for Remoraid to significantly damage teams with Water Spout.

Usage Tips
========

Remoraid should always be at full health, as it functions the best when Water Spout is at its most powerful. As such, it should never switch directly into any Pokemon because it risks losing power on Water Spout and being KOed. Rather, it should be brought in safely after a KO or by a slow U-turn or Volt Switch. Furthermore, try to avoid taking damage from entry hazards and status, since they lower the Base Power of Water Spout. Lastly, if the opponent has a Frillish or Croagunk, be careful of locking Remoraid into Water Spout or Hydro Pump, which they're immune to, as this will kill all momentum.

Team Options
========

Spinners such as Staryu, Drilbur, and Kabuto remove any entry hazards that damage Remoraid upon switch in, which reduces the power of Water Spout. Slower users of Volt Switch and U-turn can bring Remoraid in safely. Vullaby is a great partner to Remoraid, as it counters Grass-types such as Foongus and Pumpkaboo-XL, can remove Eviolites with Knock Off, can bring Remoraid in safely with U-turn, and can remove hazards with Defog. Grass-types such as Foongus, Pumpkaboo-XL, and Cottonee resist both of Remoraid's weaknesses in Electric and Grass and can deal with Water-types. Entry hazard support from the likes of Onix, Ferroseed, and Dwebble deal chip damage to the foe, allowing Remoraid to net KOs a lot more easily. Knock Off users such as Pawniard, Timburr, and Mienfoo are able to soften up many Pokemon by removing their Eviolites, making it tremendously easier for Remoraid to clean up.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Psychic can be used to specifically hit Mareanie and Croagunk as well as other Poison- and Fighting-types super effectively after Remoraid has taken some damage. Gunk Shot can smack Spritzee and OHKO Cottonee, but it is hard to make room for and has poor accuracy when paired with Hustle. Life Orb can be used over Choice Scarf for increased damage output and to freely choose moves, but it gradually decreases Water Spout's Base Power, and the loss of Speed makes Remoraid significantly easier to revenge kill. A physically oriented set can be ran with moves such as Waterfall, Rock Blast, and the aforementioned Gunk Shot and Bullet Seed, but Corphish generally does this better. Scald can be used as an accurate STAB move capable of inflicting burns, but the power drop is significant compared to Hydro Pump and Water Spout. Flamethrower is more accurate than Fire Blast; however, the damage output is much lower. Ice Beam hits the Grass- and Dragon-types that resist Water-type attacks super effectively, but Remoraid has better moves to hit the former, and the latter are uncommon in LC. Charge Beam can hit most Water-types super effectively, namely Mantyke, and usually gain a Special Attack boost, but it is still pretty weak. Seed Bomb does more reliable damage than Bullet Seed, but Bullet Seed is usually stronger due to LC's damage rolls.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Priority**: Timburr, Pawniard, and Doduo are able to take advantage of Remoraid's poor bulk with Mach Punch, Sucker Punch, and Quick Attack, respectively, and either KO it after some chip damage or reduce the Base Power of Water Spout.

**Grass-types**: Foongus, Pumpkaboo, and Cottonee resist Water Spout and easily OHKO Remoraid with Giga Drain, but they have to be careful of Fire Blast.

**Water-types**: Chinchou and Staryu resist Water-type moves and OHKO Remoraid with an Electric-type attack but must be wary of Bullet Seed. Mareanie and Skrelp take neutral damage from Bullet Seed, and the latter OHKOes Remoraid with Sludge Wave.

**Water-immune Pokemon**: Frillish and Croagunk are immune to Water Spout thanks to their abilities and can deal a lot of damage to Remoraid, with the latter also having priority in both Vacuum Wave and Sucker Punch; however, it should be wary of the rare Psychic, while the former has to watch out for Bullet Seed.

**Residual Damage**: Residual damage from the likes of weather, entry hazards, and burns chip away Remoraid's health, reducing Water Spout's power and forcing it to rely on inaccurate moves like Hydro Pump.

[OVERVIEW]
pros:
• Remoraid has a deep movepool full of gems such as the famed Water Spout, powerful moves such as Hydro Pump and Fire Blast, along with coverage options such as Bullet Seed and Psychic.
• Its movepool is backed up by great mixed attacking stats and a great 17 Speed tier allowing for a nice revenge killer.
• It has Hustle powers up its physical attacks.

cons:
• Its terrible bulk leaves Remoraid to be easily revenge killed from priority.
• It faces competition from other Water-types such as Chinchou and Frillish as they are generally more consistent and reliable.

Moves
========
• Water Spout is immensely powerful when Remoraid is at full health being able to deal significant damage to those that don't resist it.
• Fire Blast hits Grass-types that resist Water Spout and Hydro Pump, namely Ferroseed.
• Hydro Pump is used when Remoraid is under 75% of its HP as Water Spout will be weaker then.
• Bullet Seed is favored by the multi-hit damage rolls in LC and hits Water-types such as Corphish, Staryu, Omanyte, and Kabuto. 4 examples is too many.

Set Details
========
• The Special Attack and Speed investment maximize Remoraid’s offensive capabilities.
• A Choice Scarf lets Remoraid outspeed the entire unboosted metagame as well as enhance Remoraid’s revenge killing abilities.
• A Naive nature does not alter the damage of Bullet Seed and allows Remoraid to outspeed 16 Speed Choice Scarf users such as Pawniard and Rufflet while tie with 17 Speed users such as Mienfoo and Chinchou.
• Hustle boosts the power of Bullet Seed by 1.5x at the cost of accuracy for all moves. Hustle's accuracy drop only affects physical attacks.
• If the accuracy drop is annoying, Sniper can be used instead but Bullet Seed becomes a lot weaker. Explain what Sniper does.

Usage Tips
========
• Always keep Remoraid at full health, as that is when Water Spout is most powerful.
• Never switch Remoraid in onto any Pokemon because it risks losing power on Water Spout as well as likely being KOed.
• It should instead be brought in by a slow U-turn or Volt Switch, or after a KO.
• On top of that, it should try to take as little damage from the likes of entry hazards and status as much as possible since they lower BP on Water Spout.
• Remoraid functions best as a revenge killer with a Choice Scarf at hand and being able to fire a Water Spout from full health.
• If the opponent has Frillish or Croagunk, be careful of using Water Spout or Hydro Pump as they are immune to it and will kill all momentum as Remoraid will be locked into a Water move.

Team Options
========
• Spinners such as Staryu, Drilbur, and Kabuto remove any entry hazards that can reduce the power of Water Spout.
• Mienfoo and Magnemite can bring Remoraid in safely with a U-turn or Volt Switch. Generalize to "users of U-turn or Volt Switch".
• Vullaby is a great partner to Remoraid as it counters Grass-types such as Foongus and Pumpkaboo-XL, can remove Eviolites with Knock Off, can bring Remoraid in safely with U-turn, and remove hazards with Defog.
• Grass-types such as Foongus, Pumpkaboo-XL, and Cottonee resist both of Remoraid's weaknesses to Electric and Grass and can deal with Water-types.

• Life Orb can be used over Choice Scarf for power and to freely choose moves, but the loss of Speed makes Remoraid significantly easier to revenge kill. Mention that Life Orb gradualy reduces the strength of Water Spout.
• A physically oriented set can be ran with moves such as Waterfall, Gunk Shot, and Rock Blast, but Corphish generally does this better. Don't mention Gunk Shot here if you mention it below.
• Gunk Shot can be used on the mixed set to smack Spritzee and OHKO Cottonee but is hard to make room for and has poor accuracy when paired with Hustle.
• Psychic can be used to hit Mareanie, Skrelp, and Tentacool super effectively as well as other Poison- and Fighting-types when Remoraid has took some damage. Mention Croagunk specifically here. Skrelp and Tentacool aren't relevant.
• Charge Beam can be used to hit most Water-types super effectively, namely Mantyke, and usually gain a Special Attack boost, but it is still pretty weak.
• Scald can be used as an accurate STAB move capable of giving burns but the power drop is significant compared to Hydro Pump and Water Spout.
• Ice Beam hits Grass, Flying, and Dragon-types super effectively, Remoraid has better moves to hit the former two types and Dragons are uncommon in LC.
Change the order. Psychic>Gunk Shot>LO>Physical set>Scald>Ice Beam>Charge Beam.

Checks and Counters

**Priority**: Aipom, Timburr, and Pawniard are able to take advantage of Remoraid’s poor bulk with Fake Out, Mach Punch and Sucker Punch while reducing Water Spout’s base power. Generalize to all priority users. Don't mention Aipom.

**Grass-types**: Foongus, Pumpkaboo, and Cottonee resist Water Spout and can easily OHKO Remoraid with Giga Drain, but they have to watch out for Fire Blast.

**Water-types**: Chinchou and Staryu resist Water-type moves and can OHKO Remoraid with an Electric attack but must be wary of Bullet Seed. Mareanie and Skrelp take neutral damage from Bullet Seed and the latter OHKOes Remoraid with Sludge Wave.

**Water-immune Pokemon**: Frillish and Croagunk are immune to Water Spout thanks to their abilities and can deal a lot of damage against it, but the former has to watch out for Bullet Seed and the latter should be wary of the rare Psychic. Mention that Croagunk gets priority.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Your first sentence is a bit weird. Is Water Spout not a powerful move? Is Fire Blast not a coverage option? Try to change it up a bit in write up
  • A 17 Speed tier is not 'great'. It's 'good' at best, but actually fairly average (after all, 17 Speed is the most crowded Speed tier in LC). I think you should change it to 'good', since it's still not bad.
  • Your missing a very important sentence: why should I use Remoraid? What does it do for my team? Is it a revenge killer? Wall breaker? Cleaner? (Of course, Remoraid is a revenge killer first and foremost thanks to Water Spout). This sentence should be the first one (Remoraid is capable of revenge killing a good portion of the metagame thanks to its deep movepool full of gems such as...).
  • Mention that Hustle's accuracy drop is very bad of Remoraid, as its physical attacks can miss at the most unfortunate of times.

Overview:
"as they are generally more consistent and reliable."
This is redundant, maybe something like more reliable and useful defensively

Team Options:
Defensive status absorbers generally don't fit into the offensive teams Remoraid would find itself on, so remove that sentence.

Other Options:
Mention that Seed Bomb does more reliable damage than Bullet Seed, but Bullet Seed is stronger most of the time due to level 5 rolls.

Checks and Counters:
Mention entry hazards for residual damage.
