========

* Seismitoad's ability Swift Swim and secondary Ground-typing make it a good Electric-immunity to have on rain teams.
* Swift Swim doubles its Speed in rain, making it one of the fastest Pokemon in the metagame, even outspeeding threats like +1 Volcarona, Tapu Koko, and +1 Mega Charizard X.
* Seismitoad allows for role compression on rain teams as a Stealth Rock user, Swift Swim sweeper, and Tapu Bulu check.
* It is the most viable Stealth Rock user on a rain team, and given its high Speed in rain, it is able to set it up fairly easily.
* It has access to decent coverage options in Sludge Wave and Knock Off.
* Although Seismitoad is quite threatening in rain, it has lackluster Speed and offensive presence outside of rain, and without investment, it isn't able to take hits too well.
* Although it is immune to Electric-type moves, its typing leaves it very weak to Grass-types, which also resist both of its STAB moves.

Moves
========

* Hydro Pump is Seismitoad's primary STAB move, and when coupled with the boost from Life Orb, Modest nature, and presence of rain, is able to hit neutral target incredibly hard, even being able to 2HKO Zapdos and Celesteela.
* Scald may be used over Hydro Pump, as it is much more reliable due to its accuracy and PP as well as its chance to cripple physical attackers with a burn. However, there is a significant loss in power, and Scald makes Seismitoad miss out on some important KOes, such as missing out on the 2HKO against Zapdos and Celesteela in rain.
* Earth Power is a secondary STAB move that allows Seismitoad to reliably hit Electric- and Steel-types without having to depend on an inaccurate Hydro Pump.
* Sludge Wave is a coverage move that allows Seismitoad to hit Fairy- and Grass-types for super effective damage; notable targets are Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini, Azumarill, and Breloom.
* Stealth Rock takes advantage of Seismitoad's ability to force switches, pressuring the opponent on switches as well as making it easier for Seismitoad and the rest of the team to sweep.
* Knock Off is an optional coverage move that also has great utility in removing the target's item. It also lets Seismitoad hit Latios and remove Chansey's Eviolite, making it easier for the rest of the team to deal with.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Speed and Special Attack along with a Timid nature maximize its offensive presence.
* 4 EVs in Special Defense ensure that Porygon-Z gets the boost in Attack from Download instead of in Special Attack.
* Swift Swim doubles Seismitoad's Speed in rain, allowing it to outspeed almost the entire unboosted metagame and most of the boosted metagame.
* A Timid nature is used for a bit more Speed at the cost of a bit of power. Most notably, it allows Seismitoad to outspeed Magearna and Tapu Bulu outside of rain and Shift Gear Magearna in rain.
* A Modest nature may be used to increase its damage output; however, this may leave it vulnerable to the aforementioned threats.
* Life Orb grants Seismitoad an increase in damage output, helping it secure the 2HKO against Celesteela and Zapdos.

Usage Tips
========

* Seismitoad is best brought in on a predicted Electric-type move or with a slow U-turn from Pelipper after it sets rain.
* Feel free to use Hydro Pump liberally in rain unless the target resists or is immune to it. However, its low PP must be kept in mind so as to not waste it unnecessarily.
* Using Stealth Rock in rain would waste a turn of rain, which may prove to be detrimental. It may, however, be used as a lead to set up Stealth Rock early and dedicate turns with rain to purely dealing damage.
* Try to preserve Seismitoad against an Electric-type team, as it prevents the opponents from being able to freely use Electric-type moves without having to worry about giving Seismitoad a free opportunity to switch in.
* It is best to switch out Seismitoad if rain is no longer on the field, as its lackluster Speed and offensive presence without rain makes it very easy to revenge kill. Outside of rain, it should mostly be limited to setting up Stealth Rock.
* Against Fairy-type teams, Sludge Wave may be used more frequently to prevent Tapu Bulu from being able to switch into it, especially in the absence of rain, where it outspeeds Seismitoad. It can also be used to prevent Tapu Fini from switching in and removing entry hazards with Defog.
* It is advisable to keep Seismitoad away from Toxic, poison, and burns, as its longevity is reduced by a lot when combined with the recoil from Life Orb.
* Stealth Rock should usually be set when Seismitoad forces a target to switch fearing a Hydro Pump, especially in rain, as its high Speed in rain would give it a good chance of outspeeding and KOing a hazard remover before it has time to use Defog or Rapid Spin.
* Knock Off is to be used against walls and Choice item users when it can't do enough damage on its own or in the absence of rain. This makes them easier for rest of the team to deal with.

Team Options
========

* Pelipper is the most important teammate for Seismitoad, as it sets rain upon switching in with Drizzle. It also serves as a Grass-neutrality and Defogger, getting rid of annoying hazards as well as threatening slower Grass-types with a 100% accurate Hurricane. It is also capable of safely bringing in Seismitoad after setting rain with a slow U-turn.
* Politoed may be used as an alternate rain setter with Drizzle. It also helps in detering setup sweepers and acting as a stallbreaker with Encore and Perish Song.
* Kingdra is another Swift Swim sweeper that helps weaken shared checks with Seismitoad. Most notably, it is able to KO a weakened Mega Venusaur with Draco Meteor and is an excellent way to beat Dragon teams with Stealth Rock support from Seismitoad.
* Azumarill appreciates Seismitoad's ability to dent walls and weaken the opposing team as well as the chip damage from Stealth Rock, providing Azumarill with opportunities to set up Belly Drum. Azumarill is also able to check Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Cradily with Superpower and also threatens special walls like Chansey that Seismitoad has trouble getting past.
* Mega Sharpedo is another physical wallbreaker and late-game sweeper that takes advantage of Seismitoad's ability to punch holes in the opposing team and weaken it. It also has access to Psychic Fang and can KO a weakened Mega Venusaur, which Seismitoad usually struggles with.
* Gyarados is an excellent check to Grass-type threats like Mega Venusaur. It is also able to set up relatively easily, and with Moxie, it is able to easily take out teams weakened by Seismitoad. Mega Gyarados, on the other hand, has a much easier time with bulky Psychic teams and is able to set up easier thanks to Intimidate. Gyarados appreciates Seismitoad's ability to take out Fairy- and Electric-type threats in return.
* Greninja is an excellent wallbreaker that can help check Pokemon that threaten Seismitoad with its wide range of coverage options to choose from. Ice Beam helps against Grass and Dragon teams, while Dark Pulse helps against bulky Psychic teams. It may even run Extrasensory to deal with Mega Venusaur or Rock Slide to check Mega Charizard Y. It appreciates Stealth Rock support from Seismitoad to grab important KOes and Seismitoad's ability to outspeed and KO prominent Choice Scarf users like Victini and Heracross, Electric-types like Tapu Koko, and naturally faster Pokemon like Mega Beedrill and Mega Alakazam under rain.
* Powerful special wallbreakers like Manaphy and Keldeo are able to break walls on the opposing team, making it easier for Seismitoad to clean up late-game.

Other Options
=============

Water
--------
* Focus Blast gives Seismitoad a reliable way of hitting Ferrothorn, Cradily, and Hydreigon. However, bulky Fairy-types like Tapu Fini and Tapu Bulu are much bigger threats, and running Focus Blast makes them much harder to deal with.
* Grass Knot may be run to hit Water-immune Pokemon like Water Absorb Seismitoad and Storm Drain Gastrodon as well as opposing Water-types like Mega Gyarados. However, the list of targets is too small to be worth running.

Checks and Counters
===================

Water
--------
**Grass-types**: Grass-types resist both of Seismitoad's STAB moves and are usually bulky enough to survive a Sludge Wave, and they threaten to KO Seismitoad in return with their Grass STAB attacks. Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Mega Venusaur, and Cradily are especially troublesome, as they easily survive any of Seismitoad's moves and KO in return.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon like Gastrodon, Chansey, and Ferrothorn take minimal damage from Seismitoad's attacks and can stall out rain with status and recovery. Araquanid takes little damage from any of its moves and threatens to OHKO in return with Liquidation in rain. Chansey fears being hit by Knock Off, however.

**Alolan Raichu**: Alolan Raichu is able to outspeed Seismitoad in Electric Terrain and threatens to OHKO it with Grass Knot. Furthermore, it is a huge threat to any Rain team and has no viable switch-ins, making it a troublesome Pokemon for any Rain team to handle.

**Bulky Water-types**: Seismitoad struggles to get past bulky Water-types like Tapu Fini, Mantine, and Mega Gyarados that can then easily remove hazards with Defog or proceed to set up on it. They also threaten to 2HKO Seismitoad in rain with their respective Water-type STAB moves.

**Opposing Weather Setters**: Mega Charizard Y and Alolan Ninetales are able to get rid of rain with their abilities in Drought and Snow Warning. They can also OHKO Seismitoad with Solar Beam and Freeze Dry, respectively.

**Residual Damage**: Residual damage from poison, burn, hail, and sand can prove to be detrimental for Seismitoad, since when coupled with constant recoil from Life Orb, it may put Seismitoad in range of being KOed by priority moves.

[OVERVIEW]

Water
========

* Seismitoad's ability Swift Swim and secondary Ground-typing make it a good Electric-immunity to have on rain teams. Split this into two bullets. Swift Swim makes it a a good sweeper in rain. Ground typing gives rain not just an Electric immunity, but an offensive Electric immunity and a Pokemon that can hit Electric types super effectively.
* Swift Swim doubles it's Speed in rain, making it one of the fastest Pokemon in the metagame, even outspeeding threats like +1 Volcarona, Tapu Koko, and +1 Mega Charizard X.
* It is the most viable Stealth Rock user on a rain team, and given its high Speed in rain, is able to set it up fairly easily.
* It has access to decent coverage options in Grass Knot, Knock Off, and Focus Blast. Grass Knot isn't good, idk about FB so wait for QC on that one. Explain why Knock Off is good, i.e. crippling walls, choice users, and Eviolite Cores. What is Focus Blast used for that Seis's other moves can't handle? i.e. being able to 2HKO Pokemon like Ferrothorn and, with rocks up, Cradily.
* Although it is quite threatening in rain, it has lackluster Speed and offensive presence outside of rain, and without investment, isn't able to take hits too well. Split this into two bullets about how its performance is lackluster outside of rain and how it only has decent bulk.
* Although it is immune to Electric-type moves, it's typing leaves it very weak to Grass-types, which also resist both of its STAB moves.
* Struggles offensively against walls and bulky Pokemon such as Mantine, Mega Venusaur, and Chansey

Moves
========

* Hydro Pump is Seismitoad's primary STAB move, and when coupled with the boost from Life Orb, Modest nature, and presence of rain, is able to hit neutral target incredibly hard, even being able to 2HKO Zapdos and Celesteela. It's Timid / Modest:
252 SpA Life Orb Seismitoad Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Celesteela in Rain: 188-224 (47.2 - 56.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Seismitoad Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 192+ SpD Zapdos in Rain: 214-253 (55.7 - 65.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

* Surf may be used over Hydro Pump as it is much more reliable due to its accuracy and PP. However, there is a significant loss in power, and makes Seismitoad miss out on some important KOes. Pretty sure Scald would be used as a substitute to Hydro. You're only running LO so you aren't missing out on important damage like you would with Kingdra, plus having a fast Pokemon that has a chance at status-ing opposing threats is nice.
* Earth Power is a secondary STAB move that allows Seismitoad to reliable hit Electric-types without having to depend on an inaccurate Hydro Pump.
* Sludge Wave is a coverage move that allows Seismitoad to hit Fairy- and Grass-types for super effective damage, notable targets being Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini, Azumarill, and Breloom.
* Stealth Rock takes advantage of Seismitoad's ability to force switches, pressuring the opponent on switches as well as making it easier for Seismitoad and the rest of the team to sweep. Make Stealth Rock the first move. Helps to break sturdy users, sash users, and Dnite which could potentially shutdown or KO Seis, Kingdra, etc. Pokemon like Breloom, Galvantula, Dugtrio, or Magnezone.
* Knock Off - Explained why below, but this is way better than OO. As to whether it actually appears on the set itself, that's up to QC, but it would be slashed with Sludge Wave.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Speed and Special Attack along with a Modest nature maximizes its offensive presence. Timid again.
* 4 EVs in Special Defense ensure that Porygon Z gets the boost in Attack from Download instead of in Special Attack.
* Swift Swim doubles it's Speed in rain, allowing it to outspeed almost the entire u boosted metagame and a most of the boosted metagame. Since it's Timid, you do outspeed the entire unboosted metagame.
* Timid nature may be used for a bit more Speed at the cost of a bit of power. Most notably, it allows Seismitoad to outspeed Choice Specs Magearna outside of rain and Shift Gear Magearna in rain. The drop in power through using Timid doesn't lose out on any noticeable KO potential, while Modest puts it at risk of being outsped by very common threats outside of rain.
* Life Orb grants it an increase in damage output, helping it secure the 2HKO against Celesteela and Zapdos.

Usage Tips
========

* Seismitoad is best brought in on a predicted Electric-type move or with a slow U-turn from Pelipper after it sets rain.
* Feel free to use Hydro Pump liberally in rain unless the target resists or is immune to it. Even resisted, it would still do more than its other attacks if neutral. The second sentence doesn't make sense with the wording. I think you meant even a resisted Hydro does more than a neutral Earth Power or something like that, which isn't true. Resisted Hydro in rain does 120 while neutral EP does 135.
* Try to preserve Seismitoad against an Electric-type team, as it prevents the opponents from being able to freely use Electric-type moves without having to worry about giving Seismitoad a free opportunity to switch in.
* It is best to switch out Seismitoad if rain is no longer on the field, as it's lackluster Speed and offensive presence without rain makes it very easy to revenge kill.
* Earth Power may be used against targets weak to it like Tapu Koko, Magearna, and Toxapex so as to hit them more reliably. Note that EP is also super effective, which is another reason other than reliability.
* Against Fairy-type teams, Sludge Wave may be used more frequently to prevent Tapu Bulu from being able to switch into it, especially in the absence of rain where it outspeeds Seismitoad. It can also be used to prevent Tapu Fini from switching in and removing hazards with Defog. Tapu Bulu doesn't outspeed the new set.
* It is advisable to keep Seismitoad away from toxic poison or burns, as it's longevity is reduced by a lot when combined with the recoil from Life Orb.
* Stealth Rock should usually be set when if forces a target to switch fearing a Hydro Pump, especially in rain, as it's high Speed in rain would give it a good chance of outspeeding and KOing a hazard remover before it has time to use Defog or Rapid Spin. Keep Seismitoad healthy as it will most likely need to set hazards multiple times in a match.
* Although Sludge Wave can be good for hitting Grass-types, Seismitoad has little functionality outside of setting rocks in the Grass matchup as Mega Venusaur walls it completely. However, Seismitoad can be used to bait in Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and hard switch out into Pelipper to threaten with rain-boosted Hurricane.
* Use Knock Off to cripple walls and such, already said what above and I repeat it below.

Team Options
========

* Pelipper is the most important teammate for Seismitoad, as it sets rain upon switching in with Drizzle. It also serves as a Grass-neutrality and Defogger, getting rid of annoying hazards and Sticky Web as well as threatening slower Grass-types with a 100% accurate Hurricane. It is also capable of safely bringing in Seismitoad after setting rain with a slow U-turn.
* Kingdra is another Swift Swim sweeper that helps weaken their shared checks. Most notably, it is able to KO a weakened Mega Venusaur with Draco Meteor, and is an excellent way to beat Dragon teams with Stealth Rock support from Seismitoad. Seis can take Thunder Waves from Pokemon like Klefki for Kingdra and having Sludge Wave let's it check Fairy threats that could easily KO Kingdra.
* Azumarill appreciates Seismitoad's Seismitoad's ability to dent walls and weaken the opposing team as well as the chip damage from Stealth Rock. It provides Azumarill with opportunities to set up Belly Drum. Azumarill is also able to check Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Cradily with Superpower, and also threatens special walls like Chansey that Seismitoad has trouble getting past. Seis in turn can cripple walls for Azu with Knock Off.
* Mega Sharpedo is another physical wallbreaker and late-game sweeper that takes advantage of Seismitoad's ability to punch holes in the opposing team and weaken it. It also has access to Psychic Fang, and can KO a weakened Mega Venusaur which Seismitoad usually struggles with. Seis's Knock Off and Stealth Rock are amazing utilities for helping Mega Sharpedo sweep.
* Z-Bounce Gyarados is an excellent check to Grass-types threats like Mega Venusaur. It is also able to set up relatively easily, and with Moxie, is able to easily take out teams weakened by Seismitoad.
* Mega Gyarados is a much more potent set-up sweeper that appreciates Seismitoad's ability to outspeed and check most Fairy-type threats with Sludge Wave. It also serves as a good stallbreaker with Taunt or dedicated sweeper with Substitute, and is able to set up relatively easily after Seismitoad has taken out Electric- and Fairy-type threats.
* Greninja is an excellent Special or Mixed wallbreaker that can help check Pokemon that threaten Seismitoad with its wide range of coverage options to choose from. Ice Beam helps against Grass and Dragon teams, while Dark Pulse helps against bulky Psychic teams. It may even run Extrasensory to deal with Mega Venusaur or Rock Slide to check Mega Charizard Y. It appreciates Stealth Rock support from Seismitoad to grab important KOes and Seismitoad's ability to outspeed and KO prominent Choice Scarf users like Victini and Heracross, Electric-types like Tapu Koko, and naturally faster Pokemon like Mega Beedrill and Mega Alakazam. HP Fire's good for Ferro and HP Electric is good for Mantine.
* Politoed
* Keldeo

* Knock Off is an optional coverage move that also has great utility in removing the target's item. It also let's it hit Latios and remove Chansey's Eviolite, making it easier for the rest of the team to deal with. However, it is quite weak without investment, and is generally not worth running. Knock Off is way better than OO simply because it can cripple opposing walls, choice users, and Eviolite cores. That in turn allows other Pokemon on rain teams a better opportunity to sweep. Also, Knock Off doesn't get investment, it's there just for the utility.
* Grass Knot may be run so as to hit Water-immune Pokemon like Water Absorb Seismitoad and Storm Drain Gastrodon as well as opposing Water-types like Mega Gyarados. However, the list of targets is too small to be worth running. Grass Knot is completely outclassed by every other option and its just a bad move on Seis for Water. Remove.
* A fully offensive set with Choice Specs may seem like a viable option, however, the damage output is only a little bit more than that of a Life Orb, and prevents Seismitoad from running Stealth Rock which are far more useful in the long run. I've never heard of Specs Seis and you can't reliably use Rocks and keep them up with it. And there's no merit in using Knock Off. Remove.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types resist both of its STAB moves and are usually bulky enough to survive a Sludge Wave, and threaten to KO Seismitoad in return with their Grass STAB. Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Mega Venusaur, and Cradily are especially troublesome, as they easily survive any of its moves and KO in return.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon like Gastrodon, Chansey, and Ferrothorn take minimal damage from Seismitoad's attacks, and can stall out rain with status and recovery. Araquanid takes little damage from any of its moves, and threatens to OHKO in return with Liquidation in rain.

**Alolan Raichu**: Alolan Raichu is able to outspeed Seismitoad in Electric Terrain, and threatens to OHKO with Grass Knot. Furthermore, it is a huge threat to any Rain team and has no viable switch-ins, making it a troublesome Pokemon for any Rain team to handle.

**Bulky Water-types**:Seismitoad struggles to get past bulky Water-types like Tapu Fini, Mantine, and Mega Gyarados that can then easily remove hazards with Defog or proceed to set upon it. They also threaten to 2HKO it in rain with their respective Water-type STAB moves. Remove Mantine for its own bullet.

**Opposing Weather Setters**: Mega Charizard Y and Alolan Ninetales are able to get rid of rain with their abilities Drought and Snow Warning. They can also OHKO Seismitoad with Solarbeam and Freeze Dry respectively.

**Mantine**: Completely walls Seis so give it its own bullet
Review your grammar because there's quite a bit of mistakes throughout and some smog terms that need correction.

* Feel free to use Hydro Pump liberally in rain unless the target resists or is immune to it. Even resisted, it would still do more than its other attacks if neutral. What does that mean? Neutral Earth Power does more damage than resisted Hydro Pump. Also, tell that it needs to be careful if there is a Pokemon immune to Water.
* Try to preserve Seismitoad against an Electric-type team, as it prevents the opponents from being able to freely use Electric-type moves without having to worry about giving Seismitoad a free opportunity to switch in.

It provides Azumarill with opportunities to set up Belly Drum. (Change the wording to something like 'It provides Azumarill with opportunities to sweep with Belly Drum' please, as it makes it sound like Seismitoad helps using Belly Drum.) Azumarill is also able to check Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Cradily with Superpower, and also threatens special walls like Chansey that Seismitoad has trouble getting past.
* Z-Bounce Gyarados is an excellent check to Grass-types threats like Mega Venusaur. It is also able to set up relatively easily, and with Moxie, is able to easily take out teams weakened by Seismitoad. Merge it with the previous bullet, since both Mega Sharpedo and Gyarados appreciate Seismitoad's wallbreaking, can hit on the physical side, and can check Mega Venusaur.
Taunt isn't that good, since stall is not that much used in mono, while Mega Gyarados is already one of the best stallbreaker due to Mold Breaker.
* Protean(I know anyone can understand it, but still...) Greninja is an excellent Special or Mixed(Unnecessary imo) wallbreaker that can help check Pokemon that threaten Seismitoad with its wide range of coverage options to choose from. Ice Beam helps against Grass and Dragon teams, while Dark Pulse helps against bulky Psychic teams. It may even run Extrasensory to deal with Mega Venusaur or Rock Slide to check Mega Charizard Y. It appreciates Stealth Rock support from Seismitoad to grab important KOes and Seismitoad's ability to outspeed and KO prominent Choice Scarf users like Victini and Heracross, Electric-types like Tapu Koko, and naturally faster Pokemon like Mega Beedrill(Mega Beedrill is terrible, so remove that. A better example would be Mega Aerodactyl, Weavile, Swellow, Crobat etc.) and Mega Alakazam.

**Opposing Weather Setters**: Mega Charizard Y and Alolan Ninetales are able to get rid of rain with their abilities Drought and Snow Warning. They can also OHKO Seismitoad with Solarbeam and Freeze Dry respectively. Umm, Pelipper can outslow both of them, but I'm not sure what to suggest.

**Mention bulky Dragon-types such as Latios and Latias**

**Mention residual damage from status and hazards**

Overview:
- Coverage line should talk about Sludge Wave and Knock Off only.
- Need to discuss its role compression: rain attacker, Stealth Rock user, Tapu Bulu check
- Seismitoad has pretty terrible offensive stats, you should add that.
-

Set:
- Timid is better because it outspeeds Tapu Bulu out of rain and the other examples you listed in rain.
- Scald utility is obvious. Surf is just not really useful in between the two.

name: Swift Swim Sweeper (Water)
move 1: Hydro Pump / Scald
move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Sludge Wave
move 4: Stealth Rock
item: Life Orb
ability: Swift Swim
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Moves:
- List KOs lost by using Scald (and remove Surf).
- Sludge Wave is for Tapu Bulu first and foremost, so emphasize it more than just being in a list.
- Add Knock Off here.

Set Details:
- Fix nature details. Modest can stay here.

Usage Tips:
- Neutral Earth Power outdamages resisted Hydro Pump jsyk
- Talk about wasting rain turns using Stealth Rock. It can lead to put them up early, though.
- Talk about Knocking Off Eviolite.
- Add that Seismitoad should almost never do anything other than Stealth Rock out of rain due to its terrible damage.

Team Options:
- Politoed??
- Mega Gyarados isn't a "more potent setup sweeper" than Gyarados
- Tapu Fini as an option
- Manaphy
- Keldeo
- Put similar Pokemon together under an umbrella and use them as examples instead of having like 20 bullets that could have been combined.

Other Options:
- Move Knock Off up.
- Remove Choice Specs

Checks and Counters:
- Residual Damage really messes up Seismitoad, as it already suffers from Life Orb recoil and is easily put into range of priority attacks.

Implemented, ready for 2nd check.
And regarding resisted hydro doing more than neutral earth power, I meant it in rain, but I probably should have specified that. I mentioned it now, unless you would like me to remove that bullet entirely

110*1.5*1.5/2 = 123.75
90*1.5 = 135

Earth Power does more.

[SET]

Remove Modest from Set but keep it in Set Details.

move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Sludge Wave
move 4: Stealth Rock
item: Life Orb
ability: Swift Swim
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Usage Tips

* Earth Power may be used against targets weak to it like Tapu Koko, Magearna, and Toxapex so as to hit them more reliably.
- This is kinda obvious lol, elaborate it by adding something about how Hydro Pump should almost always be spammed otherwise except when it is resisted by the foe.

Team Options

* Greninja is an excellent Special or Mixed wallbreaker that can help check Pokemon that threaten Seismitoad with its wide range of coverage options to choose from.
- Crossed out part is unnecessary.

Checks and Counters

Araquanid takes little damage from any of its moves, and threatens to OHKO in return with Liquidation in rain.
- Mention Chansey hates Knock Off.

[OVERVIEW]

Water
========

* Seismitoad's ability Swift Swim and secondary Ground-typing make it a good Electric-immunity to have on rain teams.
* Swift Swim doubles it's Speed in rain, making it one of the fastest Pokemon in the metagame, even outspeeding threats like +1 Volcarona, Tapu Koko, and +1 Mega Charizard X.
* It allows for role compression on rain teams as a Stealth Rock user, Swift Swim sweeper, and Tapu Bulu check.
* It is the most viable Stealth Rock user on a rain team, and given its high Speed in rain, is able to set it up fairly easily.
* It has access to decent coverage options in Sludge Wave and Knock Off.
* Although it is quite threatening in rain, it has lackluster Speed and offensive presence outside of rain, and without investment, isn't able to take hits too well.
* Although it is immune to Electric-type moves, it's typing leaves it very weak to Grass-types, which also resist both of its STAB moves.

Moves
========

* Hydro Pump is Seismitoad's primary STAB move, and when coupled with the boost from Life Orb, Modest nature, and presence of rain, is able to hit neutral target incredibly hard, even being able to 2HKO Zapdos and Celesteela.
* Scald may be used over Hydro Pump as it is much more reliable due to its accuracy and PP, as well as it's chance to cripple physical attackers with a burn. However, there is a significant loss in power, and makes Seismitoad miss out on some important KOes, such as missing out on the 2HKO against Zapdos and Celesteela in rain.
* Earth Power is a secondary STAB move that allows Seismitoad to reliable hit Electric-types without having to depend on an inaccurate Hydro Pump. Mention Steel-types as well.
* Knock Off is an optional coverage move that also has great utility in removing the target's item. It also let's it hit Latios and remove Chansey's Eviolite, making it easier for the rest of the team to deal with.

Set Details
========

* Maximum investment in Speed and Special Attack along with a Timid nature maximizes its offensive presence.
* 4 EVs in Special Defense ensure that Porygon Z gets the boost in Attack from Download instead of in Special Attack.
* Swift Swim doubles it's Speed in rain, allowing it to outspeed almost the entire u boosted metagame and a most of the boosted metagame.
* Timid nature is used for a bit more Speed at the cost of a bit of power. Most notably, it allows Seismitoad to outspeed Magearna and Tapu Bulu outside of rain and Shift Gear Magearna in rain.
* Modest nature may be used so as to increase its damage output. However, this may leave it vulnerable to the aforementioned threats.
* Life Orb grants it an increase in damage output, helping it secure the 2HKO against Celesteela and Zapdos.

Usage Tips
========

* Seismitoad is best brought in on a predicted Electric-type move or with a slow U-turn from Pelipper after it sets rain.
* Feel free to use Hydro Pump liberally in rain unless the target resists or is immune to it. Mention how one should be wary of its low PP however.
* It is best to switch out Seismitoad if rain is no longer on the field, as it's lackluster Speed and offensive presence without rain makes it very easy to revenge kill. Outside of rain, it should mostly be limited to setting up Stealth Rock.
* Earth Power may be used against targets weak to it like Tapu Koko, Magearna, and Toxapex so as to hit them more reliably, as well other neutral targets that resist Hydro Pump like Keldeo and Greninja. It is worth noting that against neutral targets that don't resist Water-types moves, Hydro Pump is always the superior choice for dealing damage. Remove this line. It's obvious to use a move that's super effective against a foe.
* Knock Off is to be used against walls and Choice item users when it can't do enough damage on its own or in the absence of rain. This makes them easier for rest of the team to deal with.

Team Options
========

* Politoed may be used as an alternate rain setter with Drizzle. It also helps in detering set-up sweepers anday act as a stall breaker with Encore and Perish Song.
* Kingdra is another Swift Swim sweeper that helps weaken their shared checks. Most notably, it is able to KO a weakened Mega Venusaur with Draco Meteor, and is an excellent way to beat Dragon teams with Stealth Rock support from Seismitoad.
* Gyarados is an excellent check to Grass-types threats like Mega Venusaur. It is also able to set up relatively easily, and with Moxie, is able to easily take out teams weakened by Seismitoad. Mega Gyarados, on the other hand, has a much easier time with bulky Psychic teams, and is able to set up easier thanks to Intimidate.
* Powerful special wallbreakers like Manaphy and Keldeo are able to break walls in the opposing team, making it easier for Seismitoad to clean up late-game.

* Grass Knot may be run so as to hit Water-immune Pokemon like Water Absorb Seismitoad and Storm Drain Gastrodon as well as opposing Water-types like Mega Gyarados. However, the list of targets is too small to be worth running.
