teh rules for you fools said:
Battle Rules

You PM 4 pokemons to the ref from your team, but the battle will be 3vs3 singles. You will choose and send out your mons as the battle develops.

Turn Order:

Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
Ubers Rule:
Each type has an Ubers list. You may only use one of those Pokemon per match. NOTE: This would mean that you can only send in 1 mon from that list per match.
Special Rule: Pokemon are equipped on send-in, similar to how Anime-Style Simulator challenges work.
Special Rule #2: The Gym League rules on Megas is in effect. A mega may be used as long as it shares a type with the gym. Pokemon that mega evolve into a Pokemon with the right type can only be used in their mega evolved form, and enter the field mega evolved (see: Mega Lopunny in Fighting). Pokemon that lose the proper type on mega evolution may not be used (see: Mega Aggron in Rock).
Special Rule #3: Silvally can be used, but it must hold the Memory associated with the typing of the team, unless you are Normal, in which case, you cannot use a Memory. Silvally will be immune to any item-changing/removing effect if it is holding a Memory item, and Knock Off will get a boosted BAP against a Silvally holding a Memory.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen to this third round matchup in the ASB Monotype tournament!"

"Finally, a new introduction..."

"These two battlers have been through 4 battles to make it here so far, and with the finals just 2 wins away, these two competitors must be bringing their best!"

"As long as they're not bringing an Infernape, I don't really care."

"Well, let's see."

If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents.

Command: Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.

Prankster (Passive)
The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks a +1 increase in priority level. Dark-types are immune to all non-damaging attacks (as well as all moves summoned by a non-damaging move) used by a Pokémon with this ability.

Justified (Passive) [Hidden]
This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokémon's Attack will increase one (1) stage (adjusting the natural stage).

Anywho, acidphoenix responds by leading with the Majestic Knight, Gallade! Gallade gets a lot of moves that Bug/Water-types would take a lot of damage from, so this choice makes sense."

"*Plays Music*"

"Oh... Well, glad you think that way!"

"Okay, he played something, but why are 'glad that he thinks that way?'"

"Well, you see.... eh, I'll explain later, let's focus on the battle.
To start off Araquanid sets up a reflective barrier, hoping to limit the damage from Gallade's powerful attacks."

"I'm still lost on Hiro..."

"Gallade retaliates by Taunting the the Water Spider, preventing it from doing anything similar.
Araquanid, angry now, summons a bunch of small bug-like creatures to attack Gallade in an Infest- wait what."

"Hmm? What's the problem?"

"That Araquanid is fast. I mean, I can get using Reflect that fast, maybe, but it was able to trap Gallade before it could move. Araquanid is a very slow Pokemon, that's weird..."

"What if it's just an off day for Gallade?"

"Well, that would be quite strange, wouldn't it? Let's just keep it going. Gallade, trapped in a single spot by the Bugs, is smartly directed to summon a Rock Slide to squish Araquanid. The rocks hit and- wait, why is Araquanid glowing."

"Evolving?"

"*Plays*"

"Oh, would you look at that! Right on cue with the music, Araquanid transformed to reveal itself as Aurumoth! It was an Illusion the whole time!"

"Is that why it was faster than you thought?"

"Precisely. The now revealed Aurumoth isn't done with Gallade after the trick, sending a Shadow Ball it's way. Gallade just retaliates with another Rock Slide, before the infestation east away at it's legs."

"Man, just being able to take the form of something completely different is pretty crazy, don't you think? I'd be so annoyed if I got tricked like that."

"Haha, well...

I was on LoA until today... >.>

Before I order, I would like for it to be confirmed that Weak Armor is on by default, as I posted under that assumption and would have done something different if the post-round is correct.
To save some time:

Weak Armor activates on contact attacks. You weren't hit by any; Weak Armor is currently activated and working as intended.

Well, than I would like a reorder due to ASB's version of Weak Armor acting notably differently from its in-game counterpart, as Serebii lists Weak Armor as activating on all attacks and Veekun lists it as activating on all physical attacks.

not to intervene but idrc

The NDA literately says "By default the Pokemon loosens its worn defensive armor so that it will break off when an opponent uses a contact attack"

As well i believe it's always been reffed that way where only contact moves activate the ability. dont quote me on that one tho

If it's wrong, then it's wrong and go to feedback and fix it, but rn that's what the nda says

I know the weak armor thing sucks P2X7 but you're up and there's not really anything we can do to alleviate it. We all get hooked by something that shouldn't be there

For the record, I hold no harsh feelings over the Weak Armor issue. This delay was caused by problems I've been having with my memory and the alert system. I apologize; I genuinely didn't know I was holding up this battle for so long. -.-
