What are some good partners for a scarf ninja with the moveset of Rock Slide / U-turn / Gunk Shot / Ice Beam? Basically what kind of mons does this ninja revenge kill and hence opens up opportunities for partners?
Honestly, right now, nearly any relatively offensive team appreciates Scarf Ninja purely for being able to revenge kill Naganadel

This is just some type of webs, but by two twists: firstly, Specs Lele, in order to wear Heatran down, as well as sometimes late game sweep. Then, a shuca berry Magearna, as it is able to set itself up on scarf Lando which is otherwise somewhat of a pain, as it avoid the speed drop of the webs.
As with HO's in general, the games are quite fast, and the Match up versus trick-room is quite gard, but thanks to bisharp, it shouldn't be too hard to deal with it. Enjoy !
This team doesn't look great, don't use it.
  • It lacks a scarfer/revenge killer, so that it gets 6-0'd by opposing setup sweepers, which can set up on Shuckle, choice-locked Lele or other mons depending on their typing.
  • This is even more trye if you fail to set up webs or if the opponent removes them - and of course when facing mons that are unaffected by webs such as Gyarados, Landorus, Charizard, Latio, Salamence.
  • Tapu Lele's terrain blocks your own priority attacks, which can greatly hinder Bisharp, as it heavily relies on Ducker Punch to deal with faster foes. Also dealing with faster mons in general becomes even more difficult.
  • Diancie not only prevents Shuckle from setting up webs, it also CMs on it and outspeeds the whole team except Naganadel, which fails to kill her. You can say "GG" when you spot one on team preview.

Since gold silver is now compatible with bank. Is there a chance that pcny event moves can be transferred now like lovely kiss granbull? Will i be able to have the luxury to see them on Showdown? ( pretty Please :)?)

anyone have any solid usum sample teams yet?
Sure, there you go.

- Firstly, setup sweepers can't set themselves up on Shuckle, as it caries encore and therefore can lock them into their setup move. Also, this is webs, so putting a scarfer there would be counter productive, then the speed drop of the webs makes it already far easier to revenge kill opposing mon, if they even find the opportunity to set themselves up against any mon of the team. For instance, Naganadel, Volcarona, Gyarados, Landorus or even Salamence if you want, can't as the only thing they can do is to set up on Shuckle, which can, as said before, lock them into their setup move thanks to encore.

- Then, you explained how the game might be much more complicated if the opponent removes the webs: as for setup sweepers, there are very few opportunities to remove these rocks without having a free setup turn for 4 mons out of 6 in the team. Even if it somehow has, Bisharp can still punish it thanks to Defiant.

- Finally, I agree that Lele does not pair well with priority, but I feel like what it brings, aka the ability to pressure defensive mons enough to ease the sweep of all the other mons in the team, does IMO overshadow its downside.

That is not up to us -- it is up to Nintendo and whatever events they wish to have. Showdown simply reflects legitimate legalities and, as of now, those events are not legal in generation seven, so we do not allow them.

Anyone got a good Blace set? Or a Blace team? The mon is ranked as an A- mon, yet for me it is a trash C+ mon. What is the set that is good?
At the moment, there are 3 good Blace sets: Scarf Blace, which is a very powerful revenge killer/cleaner thanks to beast boost; Specs Blace, which has around 2 switch-ins in the tier, namely Av T-Tar and Chansey, and still, the blob must be careful about trick; and Sub Calm mind, which is a fearsome stall/semi-stall breaker, thanks to its immunity to s-toss.

Blacephalon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
- Smack Down

Blacephalon @ Firium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind

wha are its teammates?

- Firstly, setup sweepers can't set themselves up on Shuckle, as it caries encore and therefore can lock them into their setup move. Of course there are other setup opportunities. Especially choice-locked Lele becomes setup fodder after a kill. If it is locked into a psychic-type move or HP Fire, Gyarados comes in - pre-mega it is unaffected by webs - DDs once and sweeps. Celesteela, also unaffected by webs, sets up an Autotomize and starts sweeping.
Also, Shuckle's slow Encore is very prediction-reliant, and encoring at the wrong time can allow the opponent removing Shuckle before it sets up webs. And don't forget about Z-moves which bypass Encore entirely.

And btw, the team has nothing for weather teams, which don't care about webs, especially when the webs team like this one lacks speed control outside of webs, due to Swift Swim/Sand Rush providing a +2 boost, which still is a +1 boost after the webs drop and still is fast enough to outspeed this entire team (only adamant Swampert is slower than Naganadel, but Naganadel gets OHKOed by EQ while Swampert tanks any of Naga's attacks).

What are the correct sets for Defog Gliscor and Rotom-W?
I would say that standards are still yet to be fully developed for both of these in the new metagame, but Rotom-W sets likely will look similar to what they did previously, but with defog thrown on over a support move and perhaps running more pinch berries or Z-Waterium instead of Leftovers.

As for Gliscor, the most common set seems to be Taunt, Defog, Roost, and EQ. However, it is easy to incorporate Toxic, Knock Off, and a few other support moves in the nice. I gather that it runs Speed to creep whatever you feel is necessary on that team (often times at least faster than Heatran) and the remainder in SDef.

Is there a thread or a place where I can get some USUM teams?
New sample teams will be done next weekend in all likelihood, for what it is worth.

What is a good set for Mega Latios rn?
Is timid max max enough, or do you need a certain amount of investment in attack to secure an important 2HKO or OHKO?
Also, in case that minus attack nature is no good, Naive or Hasty on mega Lati?
Latios-Mega @ Latiosite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psychic
- Earthquake
- Recover

You do enough to Tyranitar and Magearna w/ EQ to where they aren’t capable of countering anything later on and you get rid of Heatran with this. Generally, attack investment isn’t worthwhile or necessary because of that, so people just go with this.

What are some USUM-viable bulky Tapu Fini sets if the Timid set just doesn't have enough bulk?
Quoting the Set Details of the Smogon Dex

Maximum HP investment is optimal for overall bulk, while maximum Speed with a Timid nature outspeeds Adamant Landorus-T and Adamant Zygarde. Alternatively, 52 Speed EVs outspeed uninvested Landorus-T while 16 Special Defense EVs along with a Calm nature hit an extra stat point, and the rest of the EVs are poured into Defense to help Tapu Fini check physical attackers more easily. One can opt for a more physically defensive spread with a Bold nature to lower the damage output from physical attackers. Leftovers is the item of choice, as the passive recovery it provides extends Tapu Fini's longevity tremendously. Misty Surge sets up Misty Terrain upon entry, preventing Tapu Fini and its teammates from being inflicted with status for five turns.

Can someone explain the swords dance Buzzwole joke to me?
It all started about 10 months ago, when esteemed ou forum poster LL decided to host the Sets Viability Rankings, with OU Dictator Gary as his co-host to make sure he didn't mess up. Little did LL know that this would be the end of his Pokemon career. One afternoon, LL and Gary were discussing the placements of a couple of sets when Gary noticed Buzzwole was listed as a Swords Dance user. He asked LL whether he had tested or not, to what LL replied "yea it's underrated I've used it in at least 20 games". And oh boy, it all went downhill from here. LL tried to justify his mistake by pointing out that he made the initial rankings at 3AM but this didn't save him from becoming the biggest OU meme until he decided he had enough and quit.
