The battle begins in a flash, with both pokes being sent out! On one side, a mighty Zweilous roars and howls, driven mad by battle! On the other, a small bird clutches a plant, looking nervous. This battle seems a tad one-sided, but we'll see if one of ASB's only Farfetch'd users can triumph! Scooping up sand from...somewhere...Drake hurls the grit directly into Orion's faces! The dragon howls in rage, knocking her heads together, but her eyesight remains impaired. Blinking furiously, she chomps Drake's wing with a Thunder Fang, doing massive damage! The Farfetch'd staggers back, struggling to remain standing! Finally going on the offense, Drake rolls forward into an Aerial Ace, knocking Orion away! Trying to recover, Orion stumbles forward with a second Ice Fang, but the attack misses! It looks like her impaired vision, combined with Hustle, made for an inaccurate combination! As the round ends, Orion frantically paws at her eyes, trying to dislodge the sand! Drake, twirling his leek, seems confident!

The battle rages on, seemingly one-sided, but nothing is ever impossible in CAP ASB. Drake, realizing he doesn't need to wait for an order marker, flies forward and slams Orion with Wings of Steel! The Zweilous, still trying to clear her eyes, attempts to bite Drake with Fangs of Ice, but her attack misses! Strutting smugly around the blinded dragon, Drake spins into an Aerial Ace, knocking her heads about! Angered, Orion manages to Crunch the Farfetch'd, doing massive damage! Somewhat more cautiously, Drake uses Steel Wing again, before pulling away in fear. His caution proves unfounded, as Orion misses with Ice Fang again. As the round ends, Drake still seems smug as a Snivy, not noticing that Orion has finally cleared the sand from her eyes. Trembling with anger, the Zweilous awaits her trainer's command.

Angered, Drake Slashes at Orion with his Leek, wishing he had a glyph of Astrid. The Zweilous catches the Farfetch'd with Fangs of Ice, doing massive damage. Drake spins away, now wishing for a glyph of Kelda. Struggling to his feet, Drake Jabs at Orion with a Poison-coated leek, but fails to inflict any status. Orion, carefully sidestepping the toxins, lashes out with a Thunder Fang that sends the Farfetch'd flying! As the round closes, Drake seems exhausted. There are so many damage counters on him, I can't even see his card anymore! Orion, though wounded and confused by all these Heroscape references, seems determined to triumph.

Eos the Eevee is released from her Pokéball, but, before she can react, is slammed with a strong Brick Break! Mimring isn't waiting for anything! In retaliation, she releases a Toxic cloud that badly poisons the Charmander! Roaring like the dragon he believes himself to be, Mimring leaps forward into another Brick Break! Eos staggers under the assault, then flicks up a Sand-Attack with her tail, blinding Mimring! Clawing at his eyes, Mimring still manages to hit Eos with a third Brick Break, while Eos retaliates with a Shadow Ball!
