Let Blaze Blaziken be in standard play

Come on theirs nothing wrong with blaze Blaziken just ban Speed boost on him for OU ect

tennisace Dec 16th, 2011 5:52:57 PM

no.

ps: it's "there's", a contraction of "there is", not theirs.

Why?
P.S So

ENZ0 Dec 16th, 2011 5:55:17 PM

man, you can't post stuff like this in here. blaziken's suspect tiering was defined by a month of suspect testing, you cannot just join smogon and expect it to get changed. i suggest you read FAQ and lurk more before you continue to post more, unless you want to get infracted/banned. dragonspiral tower is a great place to start off with for pokemon discussions.

edit: ok suit yourself, just some advice.

The reason Blaziken is banned outright is because Speed Boost Blaziken is released, therefore he is legal in standard play. Since Speed Boost has far more competitive viability than Blaze ever will, good players will prefer that ability for it, but the consequence is that it becomes almost impossible to stop with its terrific mixed attacking prowess, not to mention a huge power boost to Hi Jump Kick this generation that led to Blaziken as a whole being deemed too powerful.

did you read?

you can just ban speed boost on blaziken just like you did with technician mach punch breloom

shinyskarmory Dec 16th, 2011 6:07:34 PM

Technician Breloom is a separate issue. Technician is a Dream World ability that has not been released, so it is not legal in OU.

I suppose this means no then .alright

are you going to say " "complex bans" such as giving certain abilities the ax is not the way to go"
