Round 1

The battle starts with the two pokemon staring down each other, anticipating the ~~bloodfest~~ friendly battle awaiting them. Rockbottom the Squirtle moves first, easily out speeding its opponent and placing a Substitute of itself to take its blows. Its opponent, Zzz! the Munchlax, retalitates by putting up a Substitute of its own, though this one seems slightly bulkier than Rockbottom's. Yes folks, you can tell this is shaping up to be an exciting and action-packed match.

Not liking this outcome, Rockbottom Dives into the ground, taking the substitute with it. Zzz! just waits, anticipating the Squirtle's attack. Squirtle springs up and attacks Zzz!'s substitute, but Zzz! calmly just Counters the attack into Rockbottom's substitute, making it fade and disappear.

Rockbottom, pretty mad by how his attacks have been going, Aqua Jetting right into Zzz!'s substitute at blisteringly-fast speeds. That didn't phase Zzz!'s substitute however, which remains standing despite being badly battered. Zzz! meanwhile was busy, triggering an Earthquake.

Round 2: That One Round Where Nobody Hurts Each Other

A mammoth Substitute (25) from Rockbottom stops the tremors of Zzz!'s Earthquake cold.

Intimidated, Zzz! curls up in the fetal position, Protecting herself to ward off future blows. Unfortunately, this is not a very good idea while ordering first, and Rockbottom takes advantage of this with an Aqua Ring.

Zzz!, in an atypical burst of speed, creates a series of Double Team (3) clones. Rockbottom Dives and hits one, but it poofs into illusionary gibs.
